Not for long legs

Very nice trike but unable to adjust seat to proper height that allows me utilize pedals. I could only peddle if seat way too high to safely mount. Sold.

The bike was bought from a 3rd party…

The bike was bought from a 3rd party reseller. Apparently new but returned by original buyer. Understood why after assembling. No way to adust brakes to operate safely. Finally brought to local bike shop who proceeded to explain substandard parts made repairs to operate not feasible. Paid to have brake system replaced with one that would operate. Numerous calls to Viribus customer service were frustrating and of no help. Would recommend to stay away from this brand.

Freedom

At the time I bought my e-bike (step-thru Breeze) it was almost 30 years the last time I rode a bike, at 65 years old the knees don’t work as good as a 30 yo so having the pedal assist got me out of the house an into the fresh air of Maine. My wife saw how much fun I was having so we got her a Viribus tricycle e-bike.

Very nice tricycle with a few minor issues

Overall I like the design and construction of the trike but there are some things that could use development. I've been riding more than 75 years and have always done 95% of the maintenance on my bikes but I found the assembly of the adult tricycle a challenge. The first problem was the included instructions: they lacked detail and important information causing me to have to go online to find necessary information; and there were critical components such as the rear disc brake that were not installed properly making it necessary to completely reassemble the rear drive train components. The assembly instructions also had virtually no information about aligning and adjusting the disc brakes. When assembled the trike looked good and rode well. I'm 5'-9" and 200 lbs, all withing the specs of the trike, and felt the wheel base a bit short especially when making turns. The only component I didn't care for on the trike are the rather flimsy rear fenders: they vibrate a lot and are impossible to keep aligned. I no longer ride in bad weather so I'll probably remove them.Considering the price I think the Viribus is very good adult tricycle and I would recommend it.

I’m not impressed with this bike

I’m not impressed with this bike. The cords are zip tied to the frame and looks cheap. The packaging was sun bleached and the foam inside was brittle. I’m sure it was the oldest model that had just been sitting outside. I’d like to be contacted for a refund.

Shotty welding with holes

I received my trike and the chassis frame welds are sloppy with holes leaving it susceptible to rust. I asked for a new chassis or a refund. They offered me $100 without repairs. I called as soon as I saw the parts in the box and it was damaged from the faulty welds. This isn’t acceptable and need advice on where to go from here.

Vague building instructions, NO customer support avail.

My husband has worked on bikes all his life, even maintained 2 professional bike riders bike that travel the world!
This trike took 5 days, 5 hrs a day to assemble. Vague instructions, several parts were not made to fit.
Many parts had chunks of missing paint, some scratched, most were failed to paint areas.
There are no instructions on how to operate the thing, anyplace!
The charged battery will not come on. ( recharger doesn’t appear to plug into battery correctly)
Last, the saddle feels like it should be back further about 5”.
Trike is too tall for me at 5’6”.
I’ve had 4 back surgeries in 2023 & I am worried this will cause more damage.

Stay Away from this company!!!

I'd suggest staying away from this company and buying elsewhere. I've been emailing them back and forth about where to buy a charger for the Virbus Getaway bike I had recently purchased. After jumping through all the hops the incompetent support team and their so-called techs put me through. I sent pictures of the make, model, input, output, and numerous photos of the charging port on the bike. They keep telling me they only sell the bikes but not parts. So I asked them as a dealer to please direct me to the company that sells parts for the bike as I am sure other people have lost or damaged their chargers. After two weeks of dealing with their incompetence, they tell me they stopped making this bike and there isn't any way to get a charger. They are the worst company I've ever dealt with in my entire life. If anyone knows where I can purchase a charger for this Gateway e-bike please let me know. I see lots of chargers on eBay and Amazon with the right input and output but the tip ends are different and I am not sure where else to try.

This bike supposedly has front suspension. It is virtually rigid with no apparent adjustment. Calls to Viribus and Walmart where it was purchased were a waste of time. Avoid!

Do not purchase this tricycle!!

Do not purchase this tricycle!!! It is the worst purchase I have ever made ! It is not safe ! The frame is warped, it pulls to the right !!! The saddle seat shifts from side to side , will not stay put , fenders were damaged. I am physically sick ! I decided to get it because of the basket and thought it would be awesome to go for rides with my little dog in tow !!!! It's a disaster! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT !!! It will not go up an incline of ANY kind.

horrible support

Received a tricycle with some warped parts, some extra parts, some missing nuts/bolt, and NO SADDLE. How am I supposed to ride the thing?

Customer support told me 3-5 days and they didn't even try to fix the problem for 4 days. It will be over a week before the saddle arrives.

Customer support just says "it's on the way. Anyhting else?"

Horrible business practices. stay away from them.

I recieved a bike from Viribus (viribus panther) as a birthday present as I’ve wanted an EBike for a while. After a couple weeks I had an issue with the controller. Technical support told me they could get me a new controller in a couple weeks, but I later recieved a text from the support number stating they wanted me to return the bike. After attempting to contact the seller through their customer support number for some clarification (1-320-377-3106) during the hours they said they were online they wouldn’t answer and the online bot/agent thing said they were offline. I just want a functioning e-bike.

Cheap bikes, non-existent support

Viribus sells low quality and cheap bikes and trikes using inferior parts. They do not honor their return policy. I tried to initiate a return by opening a dialogue with their support email service. I have sent multiple follow up messages but I am currently being ignored. The support line seems to be facilitated by Zendesk, so certainly they are being kept abreast of my incoming messages but they are not responding. It should be a simple matter to be able to return the product now that I'm aware of the poor quality. Very disappointing. DO NOT BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS SELLER. Seek a higher quality manufacturer that cares about its product quality and customers.

Disappointing Experience with Viribus…

Disappointing Experience with Viribus Electric Bike Tricycle
I purchased an electric bike tricycle for my daughter from Viribus Bikes online on May 15, 2024. The package arrived promptly on the 21st. Despite the excitement, the process of receiving and assembling the bike turned out to be quite challenging and ultimately disappointing.

Details of My Experience:
The package was heavy and bulky, which made it difficult to handle. The exterior was strapped and heavily stapled, requiring us to cut open the box. Upon opening, we realized the bike required full assembly. As a technically skilled person with extensive experience in both automotive work and bicycle maintenance, I didn’t expect any issues. However, the instructions provided were poorly detailed and difficult to follow, leading to nearly six hours of assembly time.

We ordered the 24" bike, but it appeared some parts were for the 26" model, making them incompatible. Upon contacting support the next day, they acknowledged the mistake and admitted it was a recurring issue. They promised to send the correct parts, which were mainly cosmetic fender covers, and suggested we could finish assembling the bike in the meantime.

After an additional two hours, we completed the assembly but encountered several problems:

The bike made a loud grinding noise due to the chain rubbing against the cover.
It was difficult to control because it rode sideways.
The brakes were ineffective.
Re-examining the assembly revealed a poor design with no adjustments available for the chain and cover. At this point, my daughter was very disappointed, and I didn’t feel safe letting her ride the bike.

Wrong parts included in the package.
Ineffective customer support with delayed responses.
Poor design leading to safety issues.

Our experience with Viribus Bikes has been frustrating and disappointing. Poor instructions, wrong parts, and safety concerns made the bike unusable. The slow and cumbersome customer support further added to our dissatisfaction. We are now seeking a refund and will not be purchasing from this company again. I would not recommend Viribus Bikes to others based on this experience.
