today.am went for paper back 6.05 could hear resident shouting for help but she would not answer when I called her but could still hear her shouting Help. called careline 10 minutes to get through told them the facts and asked them to let me know how thing were. They never called back I phoned them at 6.30 took 8 minutes to get through. They could not get to resident ambulance on way but know idea when it will arrive.8am ambulance came 9.30 ambulance left with resident. I pay for this service and not getting the call answered in 2 o3 minutes is an insult then the lady lays where she has fallen for 2 hours.

Recently Appello have responded to all requests promptly and efficiently with a quick turnaround of information received. Training has been proved in a very professional and efficient manner with a great deal of support before and afterwards.

Appello have been very helpful and supportive, my main contractor has been sean always very happy and willing to help and turns up when he says he will or lets me know if there has been a hold up.
The office team are helpful and will come back to you if they can't offer an immediate answer to your question.

I've been a Development Manager for 16 years so have worked alongside Appello through a number of changes and difficult times. They have always been professional, helpful and friendly, and I know my residents take a great comfort in knowing they have their 24 hour support in an emergency.
During this time I think I've only had to query about three incidences with them. Each time I've had a full explanation and they have rectified swiftly any issues that I may have had.
As we all live longer I think it's a great way of living independently whilst in the knowledge you can summon help quickly and efficiently.
A big thank you Appello from myself and the Residents at Cwrt Pegasus, you're doing a great job! .

Appello have greatly improved their response times in the last year. I often have to ring them about an incident with one of my residents and I always find them knowledgeable and able to use their systems quickly to find information for me. A good service.

Like many organisations, Appello had some issues during Covid that disrupted their normally excellent service but I find now that they are answering calls much more quickly and the staff are very efficient and pleasant to speak with. I have been a Development Manager with FirstPort for 2.5 years now so have dealt with them through bad times and good.

Appello is a great service and offers residents in the retirement development extra reassurance that someone is always available day and night if needed.

I always have excellent service whenever i contact Appello, the new system is very easy to use when i enter a new residents details.

I am really impressed with the new SBR system. It is so much quicker for me to add information and check through the existing data to make sure it is all correct. It is also good to see if any calls have been received when I've been off site. The Appello team are always really helpful and come straight back to me if I have any queries.

Appello provide my careline service and have always found everyone to be really helpful, courteous, polite and friendly. Sometimes issues with time of calls being answered I guess due to workload/staffing levels.
Monitoring service have been quick to resolve any issues but having the SBR dashboard so I can see offsite call and do my own resident info updates is brilliant.

Would give 5* but that would be perfection! After the usual teething issues and user unfamiliarity inherent in most new systems, it works well and I prefer to input info myself. Appello staff generally approachable, friendly and helpful.
Excellent service. Love the new SBR where we can input our own data and update residents details. Always polite and friendly when had any contact with myself or residents.

Further update since my last review in April. All is working well and I'm really pleased with the system. Our residents love it as well, makes contacting residents so much easier. I've only had cause to contact Appello once over something not working and they fixed it immediately and remotely so really is a first class service. Their systems are simple and easy to use as well.
