I work along side Appello and I find this an excellent service. I also find the SBR web very useful as I can see any calls or reports instantly and be able to update them, which is a great tool to help me with my job.
I feel confident that when I leave my site there is someone to contact 24hrs which gives my residents a peace of mind.
mostly excellent service. can take over 5 minutes to answer a call. but usually very quick and helpful.

We have Appello for our development in Essex and i have to say i am pleased with the service we get.

I have always had excellent service from Appello, even though they are very busy, the staff have always been very helpful and courteous.
Quick to respond to residents calls, friendly staff who use personal touches to greet residents by name etc. Very compassionate and efficient service, have used Appello for 3 years in my role and never had any issue or complaint

I want to get a pendant organised for my mother in law who had a bad fall and broke her hip recently. Appello is the system recommended by her apartment building manager. I have repeatedly called, emailed, left messages. It’s impossible to get through to them at the moment.

The careline system is constantly used and is reliable the operators are polite and knowledgeable a very good service
As a Retirement Development Manager, I work with Appello almost every day. The on-screen Appello SBR user interface is very easy to use and we access all the information we need. The staff are friendly and I don't have any problems at all.

Appello SBR is the best, it is so easy to use and is updated so quickly. So grateful to have had it put in place for development managers to use.

Great system now I'm used to it, only downfall is very slow when inputting and saving details on the SBR system. In general a great service from Appello and usually very quick at answering calls on time out tests and fire alarm tests. A few residents have mentioned that it takes time to be answered when red cord is pulled but on tests but I've never had a problem.

I'm writing this review as manager of a retirement development. Once you've gotten used to the on-screen Appello SBR user interface, it's a great system. And there's no mucking about first thing in the morning when trying to find out what's been happening overnight, as was sometimes the case with the previous provider. I've also noticed that the response times from the Appello call centre when I do my checks are quicker and consistently so, which is much appreciated. Altogether, good stuff.

I recently had the need to call about a resident who ha used their panic button to understand what actually went on.
I was dealt with promptly and professionally and everything was made clear on what had happened.

My place of work use Appello as their careline and we find the staff very friendly and helpful. Their systems are modern and easy to use, and their online database is useful and a good point of contact for help. My only issue is that when calling them on the phone, it can take a long time to be answered.

From the perspective of someone managing a retirement development the "back office" computer system is very user friendly and easy to update with residents details and any access requests etc.. There is also very helpful user guides and plenty of information given to us to use the system.
From the point of view of a resident using the system, the operators are usually very friendly and helpful and the calls are more often then not answered in a good time frame. I am very happy to have appello monitoring our emergency call system.

Appello act as a monitoring service for developments within the FirstPort Portfolio. They are professional service that can be relied on.

The system does what it is meant to do, the staff are very helpful when you call and need advice or need to let them know something. When pull chords are tested or emergency lift buttons are pulled or pushed it does take a little longer than expected for the staff to answer the call, however i do understand this as there is probably a certain amount of staff in the office and lots of calls coming in to them. Overall i have never had a bad experience with appello.
