It took about two weeks to get the results, and I spent more than 400 euros. The process would have been quicker and without cost at a hospital. I recommend avoiding this service.

Avoid this so called booking service at all costs!!

Quick and easy to deal with. Really fantastic communication all the way through and very fast service. Couldn’t have been easier. Definitely recommend.

I think you guys have a great service but if people can’t reach out to you then it’s meaningless, I was looking for a discount since I was a student but seems like l don’t get any help. And about that parcel,, not getting it for sure . Didn’t get it last time ,, Anyway I like you trying. Keep up the good work.

Booked a "Platinum" STI screen and was given a date/time. Showed up on time and the building was locked, managed to get into the neighbouring part of the building that does other tests like Ultrasound etc. Had to show the receptionists there my request form, and was told that the clinic in question only do collection in the am - I was given my apt for 14:30. Eventually was taken to the right clinic and had to present my form again to another group of women behind a desk, 3 this time. They had never even heard of better2know. I watched them manually type every pathogen we would be testing for into the system. Finally got my samples taken after a 45 minute, less than confidential, wait. The only thing platinum about this service is the price.

Easy to book and pay
there seems to be confusion with the time it takes for the result turnaround, i will soon find out what is going on.

I have used Better2Know a few times and can say it's OK. I have booked a Platinum Plus on better2know.co.uk on the day at a private Nuffield Health hospital. Went to my appointment on a Monday, the phlebotomist drew my blood and collected my urine. Blood tests results arrived same week on Friday, but Urine arrived next week on a Monday. The blood tests results takes 5 working days and urine tests results takes 6 working days. I also requested a blood and urine test on a PDF file, which was provided with UKAS accreditation. From what I saw on my tests PDF file, my blood and urine tests where processed in a Nuffield Health hospital laboratory, which is very good as it is a UKAS-accredited laboratory. So from what I understand, Better2Know is just a booking service, they do not do any blood or urine laboratory tests. They just make it easier for you to book a blood and urine test. However, it is very pricey. The Platinum Plus blood and Urine test costs £550, which is too much. Also, there is a misleading incubation period which says 28 days for all the tests in the Platinum Plus test. Every test has a different window period. For example, the UK guidelines for the HIV 1 and 2 antibody with p24 antigen 4th generation laboratory test has a window period of 45 days and for the Hepatitis B antigen laboratory test has a window period of 90 days, so it really depends from test to test and it depends on the individual's medical condition.

-Same day blood and urine sample dispatch (if test is done in the morning and depending on where you book).
-Can request UKAS-accredited blood and urine test results (depending on where you book).

Cons:
-Super expensive.
-Wrong window period for tests displayed on their website.
-Can take time (but within the turnaround time) for the results to arrive.

This company is terrible. The customer service is awful, they have no clue of what they are doing. They let you buy a test with an attractive price, thinking you can do the test yourself at home, then ask you to pay more than double for a nurse blood collection.

I purchased a blood test for £79 for a health check. The test was in the "home test" section so I expected something I could do myself. The kit I received was for a nurse to collect my blood. As indicated on the document that came with it, I called Better2Know to arrange for a sample collection at their local clinic. They are asking for £115 to collect my blood. Never using them again. Competition far better and highly rated.

Overcharge massively for services that you can buy in the post for £10 and do at home. What a joke.

They cancelled my appointment last minute and still charged me for it in-full. Scam stay away.

Don't give your card details over the phone - stolen.

Asked for my card details over the phone, my card was subsequently compromised with rogue purchases made. Fraud.

Results took two weeks, and paid over 400 euro.
Results would have been faster in a hospital and free.

I booked in for a specific screen that covered 6 tests, when I was booking on their website it showed the package and what it tests it covers. After making the booking at a local clinic the tests changed and didn’t cover what I originally intended. I found that they do not send the samples to their own laboratory and you’re basically paying a premium to book through them at whatever clinic you choose. I contacted their helpline and emailed them, having to wait a long time for a reply due to being in Australia and apparently they operate in the UK. I received a reply which they called me by a different name and said that this was what I booked and basically would have to pay another hefty price to carry out the test at another clinic. They are just a money grabbing 3rd party without any care for customer service

Scammers. I paid for the full panel, waited for 2 weeks to get my results and when it came they said the result was ‘inconclusive’ and I needed to test again and PAY for the second test.

The very quick turn around of results in excellent. The availability of staff to answer phone call queries promptly &politly and also the return emails with any queries are promt.
HIhgly recommend better2know.
