Bought a car from dunfermline branch…
Bought a car from dunfermline branch from zeb the car is great and the whole transaction was smooth. Zeb kept me updated. Defo recommend cars4you!! 👌
I took a van from them
I took a van from them , it’s been send back 3 times for repairs after purchase.
This van has proof of full service but they lie, actually they lie on pretty much everything.
None of the filters has never been changed, poor service from them, they also talk bad and unprofessional on your back.
I don’t recommend this car dealer at all, look somewhere else.
If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would. I was told that it had been recently serviced. The coolant bottle was leaking. A washer was placed on Sump plug very tightly to stop a leak. Apparently the MOT advised both front Tyres needed replacing, wasn't stated on MOT certificate and Tyres are only just legal.
Great experience
Great experience, seamless throughout. Mark was a great help with the sale. Thank you!
If I could giveNO stars !#×@#!
If I could giveNO stars, this company and it's owners Mr and Mrs Mohammed Usman, would certainly deserve that rating.
I really wish we had read these reviews before my daughter bought her Fiesta from the Dunfermline branch.
She was promised " anything needing done will be fixed before you take delivery " and
"Don't worry, you have a fantastic warranty if anything goes wrong "
What it should have said was- if you could see it, we will do the bare minimum tomato it look like its fixed. On the subject of the warranty- the "Wear & Tear" section refers to every yard covered since it left the production line, and NOT since we sold it to you.
Problems became clear five WEEKS after purchase but were they interested?
Documents that " hadn't come ip with the car" but they would post/email them on.
A sales manager who has no problems breaking postage laws in opening / reading/ replying to mail clearly marked Private & Confidential, F.a.o.. reading these reviews, his main role appears to be bullying/ harassing young buyers unhappy with the junk his staff have sold.
Mohammed Usman doesn't reply to emails or Privste Messages on Facebook. By the looks of it, far too busy spending the results of his bottom drawer scheme.
His local mosque doesn't acknowledge knowing him, so he's obviously a real pillar of the community.
As for the car, after a month and many conversations the warranty company ( which no garage locally will deal direct with) miserably agreed to pay just over £200 from a required spend of nearly £1200 needed to make this vehicle safe and running. If Cars4you had just slapped the extra £1k on the asking price she could have avoided all this heartbreak.
To Summarise;-
DO NOT BUY FROM MOHAMMED USMAN. his "sales manager " or staff.
STAY WELL AWAY FROM CARS4YOU
CON MERCHANTS
As someone wrote i would give this company zero if possible .Bought car for Granddaughter to help her with 2 children one at school to do school run. Bought car HYUNDIA 120 in FEB25 car required MOT and service .Three weeks later picked up car sales person more interested in his phone than giving proper instructions about breakdown recovery and warranty Phoned number for above and granddaughter did this .Two weeks later clutch went on car in LINLITHGOW with kids in car ,nephew who is retired mechanic managed to get car to car park .Granddaughter phoned MOMENTUMES WARRANTIES LTD and was told no phone call was made and i was in the house when she phoned.
Contacted cars 4 you Falkirk and had my first encounter with chap called MURRAY in Broxburn .First lie he said no call was made for recovery or warranty but computer in FALKIRK branch showed Activated .Murray said to get car picked up and it could be repaired at any .garage he also said he owned company lie number two .I had to pay £120 for recovery and took car to local AUTOTECH mot garage recommended by nephew .I asked garage to repair clutch and check front brakes as a noise was coming from same. Clutch repaired and told brand new front brakes discs warped done by cars 4 you for mot new brakes required as sliders had not been greased on callipers total cost £722 .I cant remember the number of times my granddaughter and myself phoned this chap Murray . Lie number three he said to granddaughter he would speak to MOMENTUM WARRANTIES about compensation .As an OAP and a young woman i would advise anyone out there not to buy a car from this company and do not take any warranty from MOMENTUM as the number of times i have phoned them both. At the end of the day they should both not be in business .the warranty is now up 6 months of trying to get some compensation MOMENTUM says it is wear and tear yet car has mechanical breakdown without clutch car will not drive. Please read all 1 star reviews as they are the honest ones.

❌ Scam Warning
❌ Scam Warning – Took My Deposit and Refused to Refund It!
This company is an absolute disgrace. I paid a deposit for a car I NEVER even saw in person. According to their own “distance sale” policy, I should’ve been entitled to a full refund — no questions asked — since I cancelled well within the 14-day window and hadn’t signed or viewed anything.
I tried to deal with them professionally — they didn’t care. I was forced to file a chargeback through my bank just to get MY OWN MONEY BACK. I'll also report them to trading standards.
This is NOT how a trustworthy business operates.
They advertise one thing and do the opposite. Pure shady behaviour.
Avoid them at all costs. If they can steal a deposit, what else are they doing behind the scenes?
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE CARS4YOULTD.CO.UK

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
🚨 Warning to Anyone Considering Cars4You (Falkirk Branch) 🚨
My full experience – please read before using them or recommending them to anyone.
I passed my driving test on the 3rd of June and started the exciting journey of finding my first car. I used Car Finance 247 as a broker and chose a Fiat 500L Popstar, which connected me with Cars4You (Falkirk branch).
• Paid a £200 deposit on June 5th, was told the car would be ready by Monday the 9th.
• The dealership delayed collection by 10 days, claiming the car needed a new oxygen sensor. I agreed to wait, trusting it would be sorted.
• Offered a courtesy car, which I picked up on June 12th. When I asked if it could be delivered and collected due to my full-time job and 45-minute distance, the employee said:
“No, and to be honest, I’m not obliged to give you a courtesy car, so I’m actually doing you a favour.”
Completely unprofessional, but I just wanted to get back on the road.
• Picked up the Fiat on June 16th.
• On June 18th, the car lost power on the motorway, dropping from 50mph to 40mph with my foot flat on the accelerator. It was terrifying.
• AA came out, couldn’t find a specific fault but discovered the oxygen sensor hadn’t been changed—it was in disgusting condition.
I rejected the car within my legal rights and informed both the dealership and my broker. Cars4You immediately became evasive, dodging calls and emails.
By June 20th, I returned the car. The manager offered me another courtesy vehicle and showed me a Suzuki Celerio at their Edinburgh branch. I test drove it and agreed to go ahead. I was given a Vauxhall Astra as a courtesy car and told “not to worry, we’ll sort everything.”
Then the same pattern started again:
• More delays, vague updates
• I did a HPI check on the Fiat: multiple failed MOTs
• The courtesy Astra wasn’t road taxed—it hadn’t been since March
That’s when I decided to walk away completely. I told them I didn’t want any vehicle from them.
They refused to collect the courtesy car and didn’t inform my finance lender that I had rejected any cars. My broker and lender raised complaints — and were also ignored.
I then found out:
• They had received the finance funds for the Fiat a week before I collected it
• The Suzuki had outstanding finance
• They had already listed the Fiat for sale again, even though the finance was still active
• They refused to refund the money until I returned the Astra — which I had to drive back myself
I stood in the dealership and calmly explained everything — the MOTs, tax issues, dodged complaints, the financial impact — and the employee just kept repeating:
“I’m just a salesman.”
On top of the stress and wasted time, I’ve lost almost £400 in insurance policy changes, cancellations, and amendments every time I was misled into believing a new car was ready.
✅ I finally received my refund by disputing the transaction through my bank. I am no longer tied to Cars4You in any way.
But here’s what’s most worrying:
📌 I’ve since found multiple people with the same experience — faulty cars, fraudulent MOTs, untaxed vehicles, zero accountability, and silence when complaints arise.
📌 They are also buying false positive reviews online to cover up the truth about how they operate. Their shady practices are being buried under fake praise.
⚠️ Please be extremely cautious. This business is actively misleading customers, and no one should have to go through this with something as important and expensive as buying a car.
Excellent staff with a fantastic…
Excellent staff with a fantastic selection of cars
Absolute joke of a business
Absolute joke of a business.
Sold my car to them and still chasing the payment of over two weeks later.
Constantly passed from person to person and no one taking responsibility.
The manager finally spoke to me and I was told “I’ve passed it on, what do you want me to do?” Ridiculous customer service from every employee I spoke to.
They try to avoid taking any responsibility by telling customers “oh the manager isn’t in, you’ll get a call back” which you will never receive.
AVOID!!
Would recommend. Good experience
Peter at Cars4you couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. He went above and beyond to answer our questions and did everything possible to make the process seemless. He did everything he promised, as did the workshop when I picked up a few things I wanted done. Thanks Peter.
**Avoid at any cost*** Faulty car, ignored rights, obstructive dealer
**Avoid at any cost***
I bought a used Toyota Yaris from Cars 4 U in Edinburgh in April 2025. From the start, the vehicle had several faults — including air conditioning that didn’t work, gearstick and clutch issues, and later more serious problems confirmed by an independent mechanic (like a rotted condenser and dangerous front brakes).
Despite reporting the faults within days and formally rejecting the car under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (short-term right to reject), the dealership was dismissive, unresponsive, and tried to avoid responsibility. They ignored emails, refused to take the car back when I returned it in person, and even tried to deduct money for mileage — which the law does not allow within the first 30 days.
It took multiple phone calls, emails, a formal report, and finally returning the vehicle with a witness present to get any action and only agreed after serious pushback. I am still chasing refund!
This entire process was stressful, time-consuming, and financially damaging. I’m still chasing the refund weeks later. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Cars 4 U to anyone looking for a trustworthy and responsible dealership.
total fraud of a dealer
im an ex car salesman and to be honest ive never experianced shit service or sales tactics as this.
offered between £5000 and £6000 for my px blind was told it booked at £6500. i traveled a further 120 miles later that week to let them see the car (which is in good condition) to be told it was worth £1500.
to take the car off sale they took by card a £200 deposit. once receiving their updated trade in i was humiliated and requested a full refund.
i was told this would be done no problem, this is now 10 days ago and still no sign of the refund.
no comunication from them. ive called and called to find out what is happening to my deposit with no answer. ive since reported this transaction as a fraud to my bank .
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION FROM START TO FINISH. MURRAY AT THE BROXBURN BRANCH IS ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL. THEY HAVE STILL NOT REPAID THE FINANCE COPMPANY I USED FOR A CAR I NEVER RECIEVED FROM THEM. IT HAS BEEN OVER A MONTH AND WHEN I CALL THE BRANCH THEY ARE NO HELP AT ALL AND DENY KNOWLWDGE OF ANY EMAILS SENT.
I’m very disappointed with this…
I’m very disappointed with this company. Within less than four months of purchasing the car, it broke down twice. Despite this, they only provided a courtesy car and garage slot for repairs after we threatened legal action.
The steering rack was completely damaged. The first repair, which cost us £2,700, had numerous issues including gearbox problems, an oil leak, missing bolts in the gearbox, and a burnt-out clutch and flywheel — all within just four weeks of purchase.
The staff were unprofessional and unhelpful. It seemed like no one was informed properly, and nothing was communicated effectively. The reception staff at Sighthill were particularly rude and unfriendly.
To make matters worse, the courtesy car provided was not taxed, and when we tried to contact them, the phone lines were constantly busy, so we couldn’t get through.
Overall, a very frustrating experience.
DO NOT TRUST THEM
DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY. DO NOT TRUST their warranty process. My husband and I purchased a Toyota Rav 4 WU64*** early January from Broxburn, Scotland branch. Car bought in my husband’s name (in case they say they don’t recognise me as a customer). The multimedia screen was not working when we got the car. Reported it to Murray at Cars4YOUwho advised us to take it for a multimedia screen diagnostic, pay the charges and reassured us over phone and email they would reimburse us for it. The garage that did the diagnostic sent in the paperwork to Cars4YOU showing the charges. We also emailed over to Cars4YOU the bill with the charges which we paid.
Several emails were sent and phone calls were made, chasing reimbursing the £78 diagnostic charge, several assurances by Murray that the money would be reimbursed to us and it never was. The warranty company isn’t reimbursing for the diagnostic as they did not authorise it, we were advised by Murray to do it. We are now talking with Trading Standards about this company. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.
Don’t buy from here
Well had the car since October 2024 and it’s been back in the garage numerous of times back and forth dropping car off for the problems still to be there I’ve been in contact with the manger numerous of times the car was taking in for sensors to be fixed and changed they put the wrong colour back on the car my car is white they put a grey one back in it the manger has said he will get back to me about it no reply ignoring my phone call it’s been 3 weeks since it was in the garage and the problems is still there I reported the work in march 2025 and it June 3 months to try and get it fixed I wouldn’t go to buy a car from there I’ve had nothing but problems with the car since the day I picked it up from tires sensors head lights and now parking sensors one guy said it takes 5 minutes to change the sensor I’ve been waiting 3 months
Caution Advised!!
Caution Advised When Dealing With This Company
My partner recently attempted to part exchange her car (a Renault Megane) for a vehicle from this company. She was approved for finance, and we were assured that the settlement on her old vehicle would be taken care of as part of the transaction.
However, it has now been over nine weeks, and the settlement has still not been paid. As a result, she is now receiving calls and emails from her finance provider regarding missed payments on a car she no longer possesses. This is also negatively affecting her credit score.
Attempts to resolve this issue have been extremely frustrating. Each time we contact the company, we are passed from one person to another, given vague reassurances, or told someone will call us back — but no one does. I have personally called four times and received different explanations each time, ranging from administrative delays to needing approval from the company director.
We were eventually directed to someone named Ross, who promised to resolve the matter. Unfortunately, two weeks later, no action had been taken. Further calls have yielded the same promises and excuses, including one suggesting the director was recently unwell and that payment would be processed soon.
Despite numerous follow-ups from both myself and my partner, the issue remains unresolved. The car in question (Renault Megane, SC66 URX) is now listed for sale on their website, yet the settlement on it remains unpaid.
Summary:
Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend exercising caution before entering into any financial agreements with this company. We are still waiting for a resolution after more than two months of repeated assurances and delays.
Please dont buy from this company
Please dont buy from this company, worst experience ever!!!! I bought a car on the 2nd April from them and on this day 8th June , im still waiting for the finance from my car I've traded in to be paid off , excuse after excuse I keep getting from them!! They will badly mess up your credit score
