Absolutely ridiculous and incompetent company that keep sending me threatening text messages, threatening to close my account even though my account is paid and up to date.ive got enough problems in life and this is sending me over the edge.

My husband and I have used close brothers a couple of times and cannot fault them. Everything was smooth,quick and easy.
we would highly recommend them to friends. So we decided to use them again which was a massive mistake! We took out the loan on February 25 and all has been smooth,great customer service however we are able to settle the loan and they sent a settlement figure and want to charge us 3 and a half thousand pound early settlement fee! We are in shock and going through the complaints process!

I cleared my car finance in full. Struggled to get a receipt from Close Brothers, after making several calls to request one. Even making one in the car showroom ehen buying a new car! Each time I got a different response. I had to buy my old car back from the dealer before collecting my new car. I gave made a formal complaint and resent it twice. So far Close Brothers have not responded. I'm disgusted and will keep pestering them. Never again

I’ve had one of the most frustrating customer service experiences with Close Brothers Premium Finance.
I’ve called them multiple times, and it honestly feels impossible to get any proper help. The pattern is always the same: you finally get through, start explaining your issue, the conversation goes on… and then suddenly the call just drops. No resolution, no follow-up — just gone.
Today was on another level. I spent nearly two hours on the phone. The operator’s English was so difficult to understand that I genuinely couldn’t follow what was being said. At one point, they even brought in a Lithuanian translator — but unbelievably, the operator couldn’t understand the translator either. It turned into a completely surreal situation.
After all that time, they still couldn’t locate my agreement in the system and simply refused to help further.
At this point, calling them feels like a full-day commitment. If you’re planning to contact this company, I’d recommend taking the day off… and maybe brushing up on a few extra languages just in case.
Very disappointing experience.

Just wanted to give recognition where it is due. I was dealt with Sandra yesterday. I have ADHD and anxiety issues so find it hard to process information and stay focussed. There are no words to praise how Sandra dealt with my enquiry she was above excellent she was understanding and more above patient with me. I really felt like I was looked after and I often get anxious because it takes me long to process information but she really made me feel at ease and nothing seemed to be a bother to her. How she dealt with me is how everyone else should she should be promoted if not be paid to train everyone else to deal with customers like her. If I could I would prefer to not deal with anyone else but her

They have gone above & beyond helping me through this process, even getting me my full deposit back. I feel extremely looked after and will be recommending close brothers motor finance to everyone. Nigel Merry from the complaints department has dealt with my issues since day one, the communication has been great and I cannot thanks him & his team enough.

I sent a request to register a Lasting Power of Attorney. The reply I received advised they couldn't do so and requested further information relating to a Motor Finance Agreement.
I had already provided all the details of the ISA which was the product I needed the LPA requested for.
A clear lack of attention to detail.
