I am transferring funds from an account in my name, to an account in my name. Why do you need photo ID?! None of my other isa accounts required this. The system crashed this morning on the funding page. No email system unless you are an existing customer.

Close brothers demanding and sending debit agencies after you if you don't pay your whole insurance ( Even if you paying them for a service and Monthly and there's no such a thing if you cancel your insurance after 6 months to pay for 12 months!!!! Poor service and interesting I have been with them 4x times never had a issue even if I cancel my insurance earlier! Now apparently sending debit collector agencies to force you to pay 12 months while you don't need 12 months insurance! Currently waiting for decision and if needed getting to the court :)
However from 4 policies you are asking me for one to pay 12 months!
Why didn't you asked me to pay before lol?
Agreement is for a service (insurance) won't be paying you (rent) free couple of months :)

Having previously written a review about the shocking service so far received from Close Brothers, I did get a response from Close and some positive news about my van issues but that is where it all ended.
It was short lived, the replacement van provided was not checked correctly and delivered to us with a defective battery or alternator. The van stopped working this morning, 2 days after receiving it. The question for the readers of this review have to ask - is this is a good service and would you trust your business with Close Brothers. We have now been without a van for over a month.
The promise of someone at a senior management level responding has not happened either.
I am happy to continue writing a review every day and every time you fail. The response should be to find a fix

I’ve been using Close Brothers Motor Finance for the past 4 years and honestly couldn’t be happier. The whole experience has been smooth from start to finish. Their website is really easy to navigate, making it simple to manage everything without any hassle. Customer service has always been helpful and professional whenever I’ve needed support. Overall, a great company that I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for reliable motor finance.

Loan was arranged through close bro they took time to explain each stage and by the end of the day I had a new car. Great service and would use them again.

Nightmare with proof of identity.
Asked for same information 3 times.
Code for registration sent by Close Finance incorrect and crashed the online interface.
I gave up dealing with the telephone operator who was clearly making things up as he went along.
Would never deal with them by choice

Absolutely appalling company to deal with. Incompetent, dysfunctional and unprofessional throughout what should have been a straightforward and simple process to settle my financial agreement. I can't believe how disorganised this organisation are in truth. I used to be involved in this line of work earlier in my working career, but never encountered such bad service or had need to make an official complaint before. They certainly need to polish up their act, because in my very recent experience it's positively atrocious to the point of frustration and anger.

Thank you for the excellent service, The staff were very helpful on the phone, and after my call he sent me an email contamination that my payment had been received. Everything was handled quickly and professionally. I really appreciate your help.

I recently sold my car to a dealer, who settled the outstanding finance with Close Brothers and actually paid more than the remaining balance. You would think a professional financial institution would automatically process the overpayment and refund me. Not Close Brothers. I had to contact them myself just to get the refund process started.
I was explicitly told by their team that the money would be in my account within 5 to 7 days. That timeframe came and went, and nothing arrived.
I contacted them a second time to find out where my money was, and they didn't even bother to reply. They completely ignored me. I am now having to chase them down for a third time just to get my own money back.
They are incredibly quick to take your payments, but when they owe you money, they hold it hostage and ignore your messages. Still waiting on my refund. Save yourself the stress and avoid using this company at all costs!

The car i bought for £10,000 broke down several times in the space of a year, so much so my would't use it. I contacted C Close Brothers on the 5th of March this year to terminate my agreement and had to pay nearly £3000 which i did. The car is still here and no one has been in contact with me as regards a collection date I am in poor health and have explained this to Close Brothers but i dont think they care about that. This situation is causing me more mental health issues. All i want is for them to take the car, is that too much to ask? I would never use Close Brothers again and have advised others not to

Should imagine you’d say 5 star if you don’t actually need to speak to any department with close brothers
Appalling service so far obnoxious complaint handlers poor response actually no response to emails. Don’t answer calls hide behind “meetings” always a lie or excuse as to why nothing has been done. I’m not surprised this company is financially struggling!

Finance Agreement was easy to set up, once this was completed, I had to ensure the payments were made each month, that’s all. Close Brothers gave me a statement of payments/how much I still owed. Option to pay more each month, if I so wished, it’s good to have this flexibility. Would definitely use again and would highly recommend.
