Cloud Nine Wide Iron - First time user, ex-GHD, thick curly hair

My natural hair is long, thick and naturally curly, so straightening usually takes forever. I used GHD for years.

Just tried the Cloud Nine Wide Iron for the first time and wow. It was so much faster - the wide plates cover way more hair in one pass. The finish is much sleeker and shinier than my GHD, no puffiness or flyaways, just super smooth and glossy.

Love that you can control the temperature and it has Revive Mode, feels much kinder on my colour-treated hair.

If you have long / thick / curly hair, get the Wide one. Wish I'd switched sooner, and great price too!

Bought a pair of straightners for my wife, sadly they were a bit plastic and flimsy compared to the GHD's so returned them (had to pay £5.99 return postage!) refund will take 14 days, 14 days!! contacted at 10 days and told would be informed when it was processed but would be 14 days, contacted as they said they would but still havent sent any refund money! Not good service either then. And thankyou for your response below but whether you think you have processed it or not I still don’t have the money! 17days and counting!!

My hair straighteners stopped working they would turn on and look fine but won’t heat up. i contacted customer service and their urgency is very poor. Honestly GHD would have this sorted by now

I had a lovely experience with cloud nine my straightener had a fault on i emailed regarding this and they couldn't be more helpful and I was sent a new set of straighteners very quickly aswell and with no problems 😊

I was recommended to Cloud Nine by my hairdresser. My GHD straightener's had stopped working and I ordered the Dyson Airstraight. I returned the Airstraight as I was unable to use it in my bedroom due to the size of the plug. I was not at all happy with the finish of my hair as it still looked frizzy. I absolutely love the Cloud Nine Original Straightner. I have only used it twice and my hair looks shiny and straight, without any frizz. Even better finish than my GHD's. I ordered the product on the Friday evening and received them on Tuesday morning. The product information was a great help too.

This is the best straightener . The result that it produces is as if I went to the hairdressers . Love it

I was sent a mirror that does not charge so the light does not work. I contacted their customer service team who said their accessories do not come with any warranty but as a gesture of goodwill I can buy a new mirror from them and they will give me 50% off. Absolutely not the mirror they sent me does not work, their customer service is shocking. I will not be ordering from them again.

I've had a number of product failures with Cloud Nine Wide Iron Pros but, each time, Cloud Nine support have been very easy to contact, have responded rapidly and cheerfully and have been quick to provide a return/repair/replacement.

The returns process is especially slick and easy to follow. Often the replacement/repair has been dispatched within a day of them receiving the defective item.

Brilliant customer service for an item under warranty

I purchased a pair of Cloud Nine straighteners in April last year, and unfortunately, they recently stopped working and wouldn’t heat up. I contacted Cloud Nine customer services, and I honestly couldn’t have been more impressed with how helpful and friendly they were.

Thankfully, my straighteners were still covered by the two-year warranty, so I was able to send them back to Cloud Nine to be repaired. However, rather than repairing them, they replaced them with a brand-new pair.

The whole process was incredibly easy and completely hassle-free. From contacting customer services to receiving my replacement straighteners, everything was handled quickly and efficiently. I received my new pair within just a week of Cloud Nine receiving my faulty ones!

Cloud Nine made what could have been a frustrating situation incredibly straightforward, and I’m really grateful for how quickly they resolved the issue.

I’m very happy with my new straighteners and would definitely recommend Cloud Nine, not only for the quality of their products but also for their fantastic customer service.
