Requested a medium gilet - was told none available then received another message that they had just found one. It arrived but smelt strongly of cigarettes - asked some fellow rowers if it was my imagination but they agreed. I understand this can happen - someone in a smoking household orders something and returns it However no apology from crewroom and they quibbled about paying return postage. Disappointing.

UPDATE what was disappointing was I had to make a fuss in order to get the refund and postage paid - showed the gilet to my crew who unanimously agreed it smelt of cigarettes so a bit strange crewroom couldn’t smell it! Either way an apology was in order but never received.

Good kit, value for money, came in a timely fashion.

I ordered a fleece jacket in the sale. It arrived in good time. The colour said emerald but is a green/teal which I prefer. Great quality, perfect fit (I'm 16/18 and got an XL) and I like the stretch material. It's lightweight but warm and water repellent.

My product description, with sizing and design elements, was excellent. My item was dispatched promptly and received within the specified time.

I had no choice but to use this company to order by daughters club kit. I thought I would order an airhead visor at the same time. It's been over six months and they still haven't dispatched the visor. Their last I got this response from Isobel on the 16th April "Please rest assured I have raised this with our production team and I will let you know as soon as I receive an update." They've never come back to me since. They sell the airhead visor on Amazon with 2 day delivery. I will never use this company again and I'll be suggesting to the rowing club to find an alternative supplier. Really poor customer service.

I bought a pair of the new release leggings, of which I was sent old stock which was a different style/colour and a faulty with label showing through the legging. I had to email customer service twice before any response in which they said they would send out another pair of leggings and couldn’t respond via email as it wasn’t working. I’m now a month on, no sign of a pair of leggings after shelling out £60 on a pair and absolutely zero response after endless chasing. Absolutely appalling customer service and will not be using them again.

I ordered a splash jacket as part of a club delivery window in October. It was due to arrive in early December but I am yet to receive my order.

Ordered 2 matching items but 1 was clearly faulty so I returned both. Courier delivered package to Crewroom over 3 weeks ago but still no refund.

I’ve only bought a couple of things from crew room but their quality is very good.
Delivery was extremely quick and these guys strike me as a very professional and slick organisation. Will certainly consider them for more rowing gear.
