The process was clear and straightforward! I felt comfortable asking for any changes during the process. The ring turned out incredible. Fairly priced to get the exact ring I wanted!

I was looking for a truly unique engagement ring that reflected my personality and my love for vintage-inspired designs. After visiting several jewelry stores, I felt disappointed. Even their "custom" pieces were still too simple and lacked character. Any personalization came with an enormous price increase, and I was often advised against making the changes I wanted. In the end, I was being asked to pay a premium for a ring that still didn't feel like mine.

While searching online, I came across this website by chance, and it was an instant favorite. The design process is incredibly intuitive—you simply answer a few questions, choose inspiration photos, and the whole experience is actually fun. Every step is clearly explained, making the process feel reassuring from the very beginning.

What truly sets this company apart, however, is the personalized support. I was fortunate to work with Colin, whose kindness, patience, and professionalism were outstanding. Ordering such an important and expensive ring online from another country was something that initially made me nervous. He took the time to answer every question, reassure me, explain every step, and carefully incorporate every request I made—even when I changed my mind. At no point did I feel rushed or judged; instead, I felt genuinely listened to and supported throughout the entire journey.

The whole experience was incredible. I was able to create the engagement ring of my dreams in a way that was simple, fast, and completely personalized. It may sound a little sentimental, but this company truly made one of my biggest dreams come true: owning the perfect engagement ring for me.

I love the core concept of this business—the idea of custom jewelry is fantastic, and I genuinely enjoyed the collaborative energy and the back-and-forth during the initial design process. Unfortunately, the actual execution and customer experience left a lot to be desired.Despite their marketing promising timely and personal check-ins, the reality felt entirely different. There were long delays, punctuated only by generic, "keep warm" messages that felt highly impersonal.Worse, the overall vibe felt less like a boutique jewelry experience and more like a high-pressure car dealership. The "project managers" felt like PMs in name only; the entire time, I felt like I was being told exactly what I wanted to hear by a pushy salesperson.This sales-driven pressure peaked when it came time to approve the final design. Even though I wasn’t fully happy with it, I was pushed and worn down into accepting it. I was told, "See it in person, you'll think differently." Well, I didn’t. In person, it was even more underwhelming.Custom jewelry should be about the craft and the client's vision, not just "sell, sell, sell." It's a great business idea, but not if it's going to be run like a dealership lot where the project managers seem like they are strictly chasing a commission check.Furthermore, I see nothing outlined in their Terms of Service explicitly stating that there are no refunds under these conditions. Because I was completely misled as to what I would actually receive, I will be actively pursuing a full refund. If this is not resolved properly, I plan to move forward with credit card chargebacks and file formal reports for fraud with both the Massachusetts Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

TLDR - didn’t read my request and never got back to me

The website is wonderful guiding you with the different ring types stones and cuts, however after completing my request and putting in a full description of my desired ring with reference images I received a generic message asking me about the ring questions that were not relevant to my ring type as well as questions that were answered in my profile - it was evident that they didn’t read my request before contacting me - this on its own is not the end of the world however after re explaining my ring ideas it was radio silent and they never got back to me

So I cannot comment on the quality of the rings and the process throughout as I couldn’t even get a message back

I understand this isn’t a common comment with this company so maybe I was unlucky

My whole experience working with CustomMade was amazing! I've been looking for my perfect non traditional ring set for about two years and nothing was turning up as aesthetically representing my style while also being of good quality. The representative assigned to my project was Michael, and he made the entire process so seamless. He was insightful in helping me design my ring, pick out the appropriate stones for my vision and budget, was quick to give me any updates on production and next steps while keeping an open line of communication where I could reach out to him with any questions or concerns and he would get back to me quickly with a knowledgeable response. The entire process only took about 3 months for my specific project and I could not be happier with the final product. Throughout production you do get concept sketches, digital renders as well as photos of the finished project, but I was not prepared for just how perfect it turned out when I opened the package and saw the physical ring/band. They also send you a certification of authenticity so it really put my mind at ease from the understandable fear of being burned by online scam websites. When I learn how to upload a photo/video of my ring set, I will. But they truly are a company that was a pleasure to work with.
