Disgraceful customer service

The return leg of our flight to London was cancelled for the 3rd of January citing ‘that the Czech government was not allowing them to fly due to COVID.’ I checked with both the Czech foreign ministry and British consulate and this was not the case.

I contacted the airline directly as I do not want a voucher but they money returned to my card but the staff are not helpful in anyway, have provided no reasonable explanation, and are seemingly trying to avoid paying back the money I am legally owed. The money they have offered is also far below the amount that I believe to be correct. For a family of 2 adults, 1 child and 1 infant they have told me I am entitled to £105 refund for the cancelled return leg. That is 15% of the total flights cost and simply cannot be the case. They avoid giving direct answers to questions and I get responses from different people.

In addition, on our outbound flight the plane was changed and our seats didn’t exist. The onboard staff didn’t care and were no help whatsoever.

Do not fly with this airline, they are an utter disgrace!!

VOLS ANNULES ET NON REMBOURSES

Booké avec mytrip.com mes vols ont été annulés en août et sont toujours en attente de remboursement. Malgré mes appels, aucune solution proposée, ils me renvoient sur mytrip.com qui, eux, me disent avoir fait une demande de remboursement et n'avoir aucune nouvelle. Il est impensable qu'on laisse ces compagnies continuer à vendre des billets alors qu'elles ne remboursent déjà pas leurs clients lésés.

Cancelled flight and NO REFUND!

Refused to give me my money back after THEY cancelled my flight. Were completely unsympathetic and unhelpful on the phone. Terrible service. Will never use again.

Worse airline ever

I have booked a flight through eDreams to fly with this airline and it making my life really hard. I have been asking for a refund since May and the Parlament have stated that if the passenger wants refund they are obliged to do so. Please, if you can avoid travelling with this airline, will make your life easier.
This is ridiculous, it doesn't make sense to have a voucher when I know you that I am not travelling to Czech Republic in the near future.

You have to know your rights

I booked a flight with Czech Airlines through a travel agency and my flight got cancelled. Czech Airlines refused to rebook or refund me since I booked my flight through a 3rd party. However, by stating my passenger rights and referring to EU travel directives, Czech Airlines rebooked me to another flight free of charge. If you have no trouble with flight cancellations, etc., then Czech Airlines is a great company!

Still no refund

Still no refund, 6!!! months after the flight got cancelled by Czech Airlines!
I will NEVER book anything with them, ever again!

Very bad lier

This company after many contact by emails by phone (more than 30 contacts) have no respect of european laws even more than less for her clients.
They moved my flight in the way that i can't go back the same day to my country. In june they allways told me that my request is in the queue . After 3 months , nothing happened, no reimbursement, no check, no sign of life. FORGET nowadays this company. After that don't be surprised that companies are in compulsory liquidation . Bad bet it is by grabbing the money they must refund , they will lost their own future in the next few years !

Very unreliable, zero level customer service, AVOID!

Simply put, no reply in three months about cancelled flight from St.Petrsburg to CPH via Prague, for case ECR_104484_CSA.

But luckily Airhelp is now helping with all other issues, and as we know, they will take it to court if necessary. Avoid this airlines until the very end, they don't just take your money, they don't communicate at all. Zero stars.

Miserable company

Miserable company. Very bad Customer services. Paid for a return ticket £132,00 and I was not able to travel because I had COVID 19 symptoms.
CZECH AIRLINE DOESN'T CARE: I asked to change the date of flight for June 2021, however they told me that they don't have on the system any date after March 2021 and they recommended to me pay £61.00 for the first change in March 2021 and later when they have dates after March 2021 on the system to call them again and to pay again £61.00 for second change for flight in June 2021, what make total of £122.00.
Czech Airline don't have any number in England and I had to call them on Czech Number.
I asked to speak with some Manager or Supervisor and they arrogantly refuse to talk with me. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS NOT IMPORTANT FOR CZECH AIRLINE. THEY DON'T CARE, JUST POLICY: TAKE CUSTOMERS MONEY AS MORE AS YOU COULD!
REALLY MISERABLE COMPANY. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I WILL NEVER TRAVEL WITH THEM, AND I WILL TELL ALL MY FRIEND TO NOT BOOK TICKETS WITH CZECH AIRLINE!

Our flight from Nice to Prague was…

Our flight from Nice to Prague was cancelled months ago. We were due to fly on 16 June. I have written letters, emails and filled in online forms for the refund but nothing is happening. The EU law says the refund must be paid within 10 days. This is now months. Flight OK0745. Why this delay. Czech Airlines is giving bad service.

Rekommenderar inte detta bolag. Vi blev totalt 12h försenade på vår rutt Milano-Stockholm på grund av teknisk fel i augusti 2018. Vi har fortfarande inte fått någon kompensation för det (augusti 2020).

Flightannulation corona

Last year , we booked a returnflight from Brussels to Prague for this year in june. Due to coronavirus, the flight has been cancelled. However, Czech airlines would not give us a restitution and their voucher is only available untill october 2020 !!! We've tried tot contact them several times, because we can't find a new date before october, but never had an answer!!

Biased staff service. Not knowledgeable on the updated govt guidance

I wanted to file a complaint about our supposed to be travel going to Prague today but apparently we were not able to join the flight as we were hold on the boarding security gate. My partner and I were told that even though we have our UK residency cards and we have Schengen Visa but because we are not British nationals and only hold Philippine passport we cannot travel to Prague for our 5 day holiday trip. Before we book in this trip, taking into consideration the pandemic situation, we did our research and look into both the government sites of UK and Czech Republic travel advisory and both countries clearly state that there are no restrictions to their countries As they are both considered in the green area. And I quote, on the gov.uk official site.. it stated “There are currently no restrictions in place on entering the Czech Republic if you are travelling from the UK”

Likewise, on the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic(mvcr.cz) it says that on the
1.Important Notice: “As of July 13th, 2020 it will be possible to travel to CZE without necessity of proving the purpose of the travel when travelling from any country on the list of the countries with a low risk.”

Also, on page 6 pdf file titled
Conditions for entry of persons to the territory of the Czech Republic (valid from 1.7.2020 00:00) in accordance with the Ministry of Health Protective Measure
Page 6 clearly states:
“C.3 Third country citizens with long-term or permanent residence in a green zone
-travel document
PLUS:
Long-term or permanent residence in a green zone EU country:
- long-term or permanent residence permit in an EU country (long-term or short-term visa is not sufficient)
Long-term or permanent residence in a green zone third country:
- permission to enter the Czech territory (visa-free travel, residence permit in another EU state, visa issued by CZ or another EU state)
- PLUS: long-term or permanent residence permit in that country (long-term or short- term visa issued by a third country is not sufficient)”

So following these government advices on their official websites which we read and followed, why on earth we were not allowed to board for our supposed to be travel today going to Prague!? The flight attendant who was checking my passport adviced me not to rely on the government website as she said it is not updated. So if we don’t rely on the website, where do we seek advice then?! I don’t believe that it is not updated as the dates are just been uploaded this July 2020.
It is just very frustrating and disheartening to experience this, such a waste of our time and money when we all have the necessary travel documents on hand but just because our passport is from a third world country even though we are living in the UK since 2015 does not suffice in your end even with a valid Schengen Visa and UK residence permit. This is the only time we get to spend our holiday since we were working non stop as frontline healthcare workers here in London and disappontingly this is what we experienced in return. This is just so unfair when if you are basing things on nationalities and not on the permanent residency the person is situated at the time being!
Refund our flight ticket back!!!

Terrible

Terrible. The customer service is absent and usless.
I got my flight canceled due to the covid. Between them and the agency I book with nobody is issuing the refund I'm entitled to.
But I will go by legal ways as I want my money back.
After that I will never book with them ever again. It is the only company that didn't give any support. Low cost companies were far better.

Disgusting customer service

Mine and my parents' flights were cancelled. They sent us an email of a "slight adjustment" to our flights. They had put us on a flight on a whole other date. I called them. They said I can't get anything from them because I used an agent but their policy is, I will get a refund when they cancel our flights. I called the agent. They said they'll send our money back. Yesterday I got a message due to new Czech Airlines policy, they do not do refunds.
Absolutely disgusting behavior. How can this kind of business be allowed to operate inside EU.

worst airline I ever flew with

worst airline I ever flew with. My first flight to prague was delayed which made me lose the flight to kefalonia and the option was either to stay in prague for 3 days or buy myself a ticket to Athens and then find another way to kefalonia which I did with my own money.
after that, on my return flight, it delayed again which meant I lost the connection to cph. I had to stay in a hotel overnight to get the next day flight.

They said at the time that they would refund the ticket to athens but I have been waiting for 10 months now and everytime I call their answer is that I have to wait...
