Needing to buy a new laptop, and much preferring shopping in person, and having also received a strong recommendation from a tech savvy friend - I arrived at the Boucher Road Belfast branch of Dominic Smith Electrical and Home Entertainment shop on Friday evening at half an hour before closing time.

I was assisted by a salesperon, Megan.

Despite my obvious deficits in the field of computer knowledge, Megan proved to be extremely helpful, knowlegeable, patient and unfailing pleasant in dealing with my requirements and queries, and in closing the sale of the laptop. She was an excellent standard bearer for Dominic Smith Electrical.

I also had the privilege of encountering Mr. Dominic Smith himself, who was on site and equally welcoming and cordial.

I also took the opportunity to commend to him the excellent 'front of house' service exhibited by Megan.

I wish to heartily and unreservedly recommend this company and both Megan and Mr. Smith.

Would that all front facing personnel were of the calibre of Megan and Mr. Smith!

Paid online for clothes dryer, when my wife went to collect, staff wouldn't help to take old one and gave her the display model instead of giving her unwrapped new one

My experience with Dominic Smith was excellent from start to finish. I was buying all the appliances for my new kitchen, and they sourced everything I wanted, including a Neff downdraft hob and an XXL integrated fridge.

They were also very flexible, rearranging delivery at short notice so my electrician could complete the installation.

What really stood out was their personal service. Whenever I called, I spoke directly with a helpful member of the sales team who quickly resolved any issues. This level of care is a world apart from the impersonal, inflexible service I’ve experienced with larger UK/Aus owned appliance retailers.

Helpful and professional from start to finish. John in the store was so helpful. A true salesman but not at all pushy.
We paid for installation and guys who installed washing machine also put my stacking kit and tumble dryer back in place for me. Washing machine arrived when promised and all packaging and old machine removed. Totally stress free experience. Would highly recommend

I like the prices , I bought my tv for nice lower price than on other websites . I like the staff in Cavan store, very helpful people . BUT the warehouse staff working very slow and make a lot of mistakes . I ordered my tv and tv's bracket and I choose C&C because I was 100% sure that it gonna be luke in other shops so I pay and on the same day or max next day I will be able to collect but NO , it was taken around 5 days to get my order . I received one day an email that my order is ready to collect it but actually it wasn't even deliver to the cavan shop and a sales assistant said that it's not the first time that someone is sending to the customers false informations about order . Cooperation between warehouse and shops is very poor .. if I will like to wait that much long for my order I will be choosing a delivery not click and collect...
Just don't send to the people false information about the order ready to collect when it's not yet actually because this is no respect to the people's time.

I visited this shop today, looking for a part for my hoover. I did ask several question for young shop assistant in customer care and there were no customer care, only ignorance.

I bought a computer online. The illustration on the website showed it with a backlit keyboard, which was a feature that I was looking for. The computer I was sold didn't have the backlit keyboard, but when I went to return the item for a refund I was only offered a credit note - not a lot of use!

Quick delivery product as described.

I called the service to try to rearrange my delivery because the scheduled time clashed with school pick-ups, but it turned out to be pointless. The customer service representatives I spoke to were very nice, but they couldn’t offer me a different delivery time. The delivery person arrived when I wasn’t home, but I really appreciated how calm and understanding he was—he even adjusted his own schedule to deliver the goods a bit later.

Easy to order, quick delivery. Great product. Good value for money.
