I'm mentioning Early Settler Furniture here - my experience with this company was excellent - and personal!
The beautiful lamp that I ordered unfortunately arrived very broken! Sam - from Early Settler took charge of the situation - and just a week or so ago I received my lamp - complete this time!
The personal contact was so reassuring! I look forward to purchasing from this company again in the future!

My order took 3 months to arrive in Adelaide with supply issues.
Finally arrived but wrong item sent so needed to get a refund.
One star for the quick refund and one star for the communication in regards to supply delays.

They listened and refunded the difference. Thanks, Sam!

Although the furniture I ordered was absolutely lovely and arrived quite promptly, unfortunately I discovered some damage when I unpacked it.

However, the way the team handled the situation has been incredible. From the moment I contacted them, they were incredibly helpful, responsive and prompt in working towards a resolution. They made what could have been a stressful or disappointing experience so much easier, and I genuinely felt like they cared about getting things sorted for me.

It’s one thing for a company to provide beautiful products, but I think the true test of customer service is how they handle things when something doesn’t go quite to plan.. and they have been fantastic!

I would absolutely recommend them to others and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again 😊

Purchased the couch on display which was fine. Staff were polite and attentive. When I paid for the item, there was a separate payment for delivery which stated ‘cash only upon delivery’. I found this odd and asked the sales person if I were to be given a receipt for payment to which the answer was yes.

The day of delivery I ask the delivery person, ‘Ronaldo’ if I could please have a receipt for the cash payment to which he replied no, he only accepts cash with no receipt! I then went on to explain that this cash demand with no document of evidence is actually against the law (tax implications) to which he replied if I don’t like it then he will take the couch back to early settler nunawading and I can pick it up from there. Obviously my hands were tied so I paid.
I rang the store and made a complaint and they assured me they will look into it. I’m still waiting.
The threat of returning the item to the store if I didn’t fork out cash was a bully tactic.
One more thing, gaining benefit by demanding cash and not paying taxes in this country is indecent and unlawful.

So off. Never again

Early Settlers were very quick to respond to my email. And were very helpful with my request.

She has gone above and beyond to keep me updated throughout the exchange process, even taking the time to provide personal email updates regarding my item. Anisa phone conversation and her help with my extended order was very appreciated. As I had trouble with placing my order online but eventually got it done. Had email with my concern and got a phone call from Anisa the next day which was lovely a truly lovely lady.

We ordered a bedroom set from Early Settler and when we unpacked our order the colour of the beside tables was different to the colour of the dresser. What followed was a very positive experience when we contacted them about our issue. We received regular updates via email and our issue was delegated to the appropriate staff members to follow up on. The staff went over and above to ensure that our replacement furniture was the same colour and arranged for the new set to be delivered to our home. We are so grateful for the customer service and the support that we received. We would not hesitate to purchase from them again based on our experience.
