Adore Ffern perfumes
Adore Ffern perfumes! It’s a jewel box of pleasure in the mailbox! Honestly, as someone who avoids the perfume counters because they give me a headache, Ffern perfumes seem to be the exact opposite. They are delightful and truly clean not to mention all three seasons I have tried have been headache free. Love the entire experience!

Genuinely special
I was drawn in by the Green Knight theme and wanted to try it, but I admit part of me thought this perfume might be a gimmick. I was wrong—the Summer 26 perfume is absolutely gorgeous and I wear it every day. I put a spray on my wrist and a spray on the back of my neck and it’s never overwhelming. I love catching a hint of it throughout the day. It’s so green and lively! I can’t wait to find out what the theme and scent are for Autumn 26. Ffern really makes a high quality, unique product with so much thoughtfulness and care. I like the trial system: they send you a little vial of the perfume (along with a few other free goodies, e.g. tea!) that you can test before you decide whether to keep the larger bottle. I may not be able to afford to keep every shipment, but I’m looking forward to keeping the ones I really love: it is going to be a little gift I give myself.

I am glad I gave it a try
I am glad I gave it a try. The perfume was nothing I’d pick for myself if I were in a retail store but I ended up liking it very much and have been applying it everyday. The aesthetics of Ffren was also part of the fun experience, from packaging to the poster they included it the box.

My overall experience as a Ledger…
My overall experience as a Ledger member has been wonderful. What stands out most to me is the sense of care that seems to go into every part of the experience — from the fragrance itself to the seasonal story, the beautiful presentation and all the thoughtful little details in the packaging.
It feels personal, considered and quite different from simply purchasing a perfume from a shop. There is a lovely sense of anticipation in knowing that each season will bring something new to discover.
Summer 26 has made a particularly lovely impression on me, and I’m very happy to be part of the Ffern Ledger. I look forward to seeing — and smelling — what comes next.

Ich habe dem Duft ein paar Tage Zeit…
Ich habe dem Duft ein paar Tage Zeit gegeben, weil er für mich kein Duft ist, den man beim ersten Sprühen sofort verstanden hat. Am Anfang finde ich ihn sogar ein bisschen anstrengend – sehr intensiv, leicht seifig, aber eher wie eine extrem teure Seife. Und trotzdem war ich sofort irgendwie hooked. Als Farbe würde ich ihm Tannengrün geben, als ob man in einem sonnendurchfluteten Sommerwald steht.
Zuerst nehme ich etwas Zitrus und Rose wahr, wobei die Rose überhaupt nicht kitschig oder lieblich wirkt. Danach wird der Duft deutlich holziger, zeitweise fast streng und rau. Ich hatte beim Riechen tatsächlich das Bild bzw. Geräusch im Kopf, als würde jemand ein Brett auf ein anderes Brett fallen lassen.
Nach etwa 20–30 Minuten wird er weicher, dezenter und blütiger, bleibt dabei aber warm und holzig. Nach drei bis vier Stunden ist nur noch eine Art Nachglühen auf der Haut – warm und leicht süßlich. Wenn ich diesem letzten Eindruck eine Farbe geben müsste, wäre es Bernstein.
Für mich ist Ffern Summer 26 ein Duft, den ich langsam kennenlernen musste – und genau das gefällt mir inzwischen sehr daran. Die Flasche bleibt!
