A pleasant surprise
I was apprehensive about buying a perfume without trying it, but their returns system takes the worry out. I was kept well informed of the process from signing up to eventually receiving a bottle of perfume. I received a beautiful (magical) package containing the perfume bottle, a tester bottle, along with a beautiful drawing, story and tea. It felt really special. The perfume itself was a lovely, delicate, fresh and citrus scent which I love to wear. It has made me wonder why I would ever opt for un-natural perfumes again when such a lovely fragrance can be made from all natural ingredients. I look forward to discovering what the next season brings!

I think the concept of this product is a great idea and ethos. Unfortunately it's just not for me at this time. When I requested cancellation and refund of my credit balance they responded promptly and efficiently. Purely from this I would recommend Ffern if this is a product that interests you 😊

A first with Ffern
This was my first experience with Ffern and oh what a delight. The packaging and the story made unboxing it a real delight. It was a lovely journey which I extended over a period of time to savour my treat to me. The fragrance is delightful, I so love the small vial to try before I commit, that's such a lovely way to wear the scent on a number of occasions to ensure it is a good fit. I am looking forward to my next installment now I am on the ledger. Thank you Fern.

Very nice fragrences
I am really enjoying both Spring and Summer more than I anticipated going out on a limb. I do like that you can test before you buy. Such elegant fragrances, that I bought them for my daughter. We are both excited to see what Fall brings.

Great additions with scent in box.
The company offered some lovely additions to my box, and it came securely packed and arrived safely. I’v read and heard positive ideas about the scents offered. Unfortunately this summer option did not suit me, but the return instructions were clear and appreciated. Thank you.

What a beautiful fragrance. Really evocative. Loved the whole purchase process. Beautiful packaging. So thoughtful. Makes a beautiful gift.
I wouldn't normally buy perfume without testing it first, but there is a little sample in the package to test and you can send the full perfume back if you don’t like it.
Love that it’s a natural perfume.

I stumbled across this company on Instagram and the drama and curiosity of the product had me curious to try them out. I wasn’t disappointed! From the beautiful packaging (all eco) to the drama 🎭 and finishing touches, this is a company that sees ‘Frangrance’ as so much more. If you don’t happen to like the scent, you can return it. They send a smaller sample bottle for you to use first and let the fragrance settle and develop - such a brilliant idea and means nothing is wasted.

This is not factory perfume- it’s an olfactory experience!
In a world of increasingly factory manufactured products that break, leave you feeling empty and unsatisfied, Ffern’s artisanally crafted perfume was a breath of fresh air for me. I enjoyed their scarcity tactics to hook my curiosity- like flirting on a first date! I was happy to be “chosen” as a client and I eagerly awaited the gorgeously elevated packaging. My world slowed down as I audio-visually experienced the artistic world of the Green Knight and tested my first sprays on the alchemy of my own skin. What a sensually stunning product! My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because the scent doesn’t stay with me long enough- perhaps that is just the nature of the hand-batched organic product… however, I’m used to L’Occitane for my scents (which last longer) and perhaps the reason the scent is more ephemeral is because it’s in a natural vodka base rather than some
chemical fixative…so maybe something for me to get used to. Overall, I am quite pleased with my new perfume obsession- I can’t wait to try Autumn ‘26!! Thank you Ffern for being unique and creative.

Our fragrances are made with a natural, organic alcohol rather than the synthetics more commonly used in mainstream perfumery, which does mean the scent sits closer to the skin and evolves more subtly over the day. As a general rule, if you are used to fragrances that use a lot of synthetic ingredients (most do!) you will likely find Ffern quite subtle to begin with. It really is worth persevering, as we find the subtle evolution through the day of our natural ingredients is really quite special, and can’t be matched by synthetics!

A beautiful first Ffern experience
I discovered Ffern through Brittany Bathgate and am so glad I decided to place an order. As a first-time Ledger member, the whole experience has felt thoughtful, distinctive, and beautifully presented—from the seasonal story and imagery to the fragrance itself.
Summer 26 has a lovely fresh, green, botanical character that develops beautifully on the skin, and the accompanying Green Knight story made the experience feel even more immersive.
