Customer service ignoring my emails…

Customer service ignoring my emails (Andrew Nolan) regarding my order following replacement of parts despite multiple times of reaching out.

Prima need to stop using these as their aftercare provider if they want to stand any chance of future appliance orders from a large kitchen appliance distributor.

Have a 10 year old IAG electric oven…

Have a 10 year old IAG electric oven and the second time element has failed. Told by glen dimplex that element has been discontinued with no other options available for replacement
Pathetic......never buy a product from this stable of brands given no after sales service.

Repairs after a Service very poor

Sadly I must agree with all the recent reviews, the after service is very poor. Contacted to request a repair within the 12 month period of my last service. called on 23/11 and the first date offered 10/01/23. No working oven for 7 weeks!!! and the little matter of Christmas????

Terrible Customer Service

Called went through several options then told to go to website for support and queries. Eventually found a way round to speak to someone to be told they were closed for training ,until tomorrow. When I rang next day told they were still closed until tomorrow. Wish I had never bought their product their after sales service is appalling

I ordered 2 oven control knobs from…

I ordered 2 oven control knobs from Glen dimplex after my call was diverted from Stoves customer services. They said that the cost was £22.50 which I paid by debit card during my call. The two knobs arrived in a huge box and postage costs were listed at £15.00. I returned them the next day as they were the wrong ones. It’s now over a month since I returned them and despite sending photos of my “proof of postage “ they still haven’t issued a refund. I can’t speak to anyone who could approve the refund and I am sick of sending emails which are ignored. I would not recommend this company under any circumstances! I re- ordered from e-spares and I got what I needed for £8.

As an ex employee I have nothing good to say about this company, engineers won't carry out repairs to the best ability due to the way conditions they work under. Still paying engineers wages without any pay increases yet made staff redundant and engineers expected to carry out there work. Absolutely no consideration for staff. Stay far away

Bait and switch

We purchased a Revillusion fireplace in November of 2019. For over a year, it was exactly what we'd hoped for - a space heater with a convincing faux-flame. When it developed a squeak (still under warranty), I contacted Dimplex, who said they'd ordered a replacement motor, which I could expect in a month. The led to over a year of "supply chain issues, it will be another month," until I finally lodged a complaint with the BBB. Shortly after, Dimplex NA contacted me to say they were shipping me an entirely new unit. Unfortunately, the "new" unit doesn't work at all. Because they required that we disable our old fireplace before receiving the replacement, we are now even worse-off than we were before I filed the complaint. This has been an absolutely dreadful customer experience, and will be the last time we purchase from Dimplex. We had been strong advocates of the Revillusion before, but no more - we will warn everyone we know away from this company and its shoddy products.

Awful company - AVOID

Awful experience. I purchased a Burco water boiler that splashed water when running the tap from new. I tried ringing their helpline, but just got a voicemail directing me to the contact form on their website. The auto email advised that they would be in touch within 3-5 business days! The service was arranged but the technician couldnt find the fault so now they are wanting to charge me £98.00!!. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Effective Customer Service

Contacted customer service about locating a manual for a very old gas insert fire.
Within seconds the service operator had located the manual and attached it onto an email to me.
A very efficient and effective service, thank you.

appalling

Apparently they own Lec well don’t purchase anything that is Lec appalling customer service can’t get a repair on my fridge as the engineer is on holiday!! And it will be 7-10 days before it’s booked in, how bad is this and in this hot weather have no other option than to buy a new one. Have a good mind to send them my bill. And yes it’s still under warranty. they could not give a ***. Had a text tonight at 9.20 pm offering the 17th August all day call how can they expect me to be without a fridge for a week. 😡

After 30 minutes of waiting on queue…

After 30 minutes of waiting on queue over the phone for to report my SL10190ISS-4 Technika rangehood, nobody answers. I hang up, then try again for another 15 minutes. Nobody answers.
Tried to email them instead because Im getting desperate. They answered and organized to send a technician to come in two weeks. And so the technician came only to be told that the motor need be replaced but they have no parts on hand and was told to come back later and did not specify any time frame whatsoever. Tried to email them back multiple times, 4 weeks on no reply so far.
Warning! Do not buy anything Technika because they are not a good product.

Poor form GlenDimplex

I phoned Customer care twice and gave up after half hour each time (actually less the second time as the music was driving me crazy!). There's no indication over time to suggest that you are advancing in the queue. Couldn't help imagining someone sitting there eating a donut and chuckling while the phones rang out! I then rang again and asked for sales rather than customer care and I was answered in less than a minute! So they want us to purchase but don't want to deal with the problems? Anyway this didn't get me anywhere either as I was just put back in the queue I had been in - gave up on it. The message at start of call says that you can go on live chat on website but there's no sign of a live chat option. No wonder there is a message at start of call warning people not to be verbally abusive when speaking to staff! To be fair to those answering phones, it is more than likely that GlenDimplex has not staffed the customer care line well enough (or possibly at all!). It concerns me that the elderly who are not tech savvy would have no way of having their concerns addressed if they can't use email. Poor form GlenDimplex :(

The idea of “Service” is totally foreign to Glen Dimplex

We purchased a 4-way kitchen tap, the boiler of which was made by Glen Dimplex.

The boiler has failed to give satisfaction from the start and has required call-outs. Now I am told no parts or service for this product is available!!

Apart from a poorly manufactured product, is the appalling service of Glen Dimplex. Hours trying to get a phone connection, only to be cut off or “transferred” to another department which don’t pick up. Quite simply disgraceful for management not to address their failings.

Do NOT buy anything from them

3 years and 7 service calls to fix a washing machine, always very difficult dealing with them, take 2-3 weeks to send the technician, and then didn't honour the warranty past 2 years, or the extended 12 month warranty on the replaced part.

Rip off merchants

Without a doubt the worse company to deal with. My 80 year old mother bought a fridge from them only for it to be faulty, not only did she have to wait 12 days for an engineer to come out all her food was wasted in the fridge and freezer, imagine 12 days with no fridge !! no compensation for the food as the twit in customer service asked for receipts, we did not keep receipts when shopping as we thought we had a working fridge, if we were psychic we would pick the winning lotto ticket !!!
Rubbish customer service and rubbish product. Anyone who can ripped off an 80 year mother needs avoiding at all costs, avoid, avoid and avoid

I cannot thank the spare parts team enough!
I needed a replacement glass urgently and the team were incredible despite staff shortages and dispatched my item as soon as possible!

Honestly so grateful to the girls who supported me when i was in need!!!!

We Purchased a Redring Shower in March which failed to work after about 1 week of using this, I contacted my supplier who informed Glen Dimplex. They text me to say they would arrange an engineer to visit me, I phoned them several times with the same response, we will phoned you back with what's happening but never ever received a call. Eventually an engineer came only to say that he did not have the part, again I phoned to ask when will it be sorted out and was informed that they had the part and engineers will contact me within 2 working days, at 6.30 pm we had a Text to say that they did not have the part. The saga is still going on, the only helpful person was a guy named Eddy in their engineers company who is trying to help to resolve the problem

New World cooker

Bought a New World cooker after only 6 months all the knobs fell off, the knobs were made of plastic which became brittle after time from use of grill situated just below knobs, New World must of known of this problem as they have now put metal ring on the same knobs to strengthen the weak spot on the knobs.
Do not buy anything from this company as they have no customer service to speak of what so ever, they will not reply to their own 'contact us' form and leave you hanging on the phone forever.

Absolutely disgusting service bought a…

Absolutely disgusting service bought a fire from AO which stopped working after 3 months rang the customer service who obviously knew there was a problem with the fires and immediately arranged a swap over but it was out of stock (probably due to the fault on it )
I was told it would be swapped in April 3 months after reporting it I am still waiting and have just rung Glen Dimplex and apparently my fire was replaced in march , well what a joke I have never received the replacement and I still have the broken one.
Please don’t buy anything covered by this company on warranty they are awful and totally useless , they never reply to emails and they lie .I will go to the ombudsman shortly and I will stop paying the finance as I am quite within my rights so sort yourselves out and stop messing people about .😡🤬😡🤬
