Worst customer service ever
I’m on my 3rd Morphy Richard steam mop they changed the design to a flimsy model that the handle folds down to store away but it’s so flimsy that it’s broke in the same place on 2 machines. It has 2 year warranty I rang glen dimplex and was told they could do nothing for me that I didn’t give them the money to try return to store and if they don’t take it back I’ll have to dump it!
Thank god for good companies like Tesco and Oxendales that did take the machines back. I got a refund from Oxendales as they didn’t have one to replace the broken one and because I had bought extra cleaning pads I decided to buy another one from Tesco and thank god they’ve replaced the 2nd faulty one. I would prefer a different make as I will never buy anything that glen dimplex makes as this is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience with them. Avoid MORPHY RICHARDS CREDA AND BELLING products they are all owned by GLEN DIMPLEX. There’s a full list on Wikipedia and before you spend your money check this list out first!

absolutley awful company could not get through on phone nothing they also treat there staff awful got no respect for the workers on the shop floor who actually make the cookers care about the managers and supervisors only give the workers who make the cookers pennies to live on.
Gas Leak
Came to my property on 1st August on behalf of Domestic General to look at the regulator on my lower Stoves oven. Engineer caused a gas leak, by the time I realised I had a gas leak I had been using hob & top oven for several days . I reported this to GDHA, nothing, not even an apology. Reported it to Domestic General they called me today offered me £30 & said they'd feed back to GDHA engineer. My home, my family, my neighbour could have been blown sky high & they couldn't care less.

This cooker was barely 3 weeks old with a fault on date of delivery - I asked that another engineer be sent they said no one would agree to come. I have lived here for years with a myriad of service people in and out of my home all gratefully using the parking vouchers I supply. STOVES even went so far to say engineer couldn’t carry tools from street. Refused point blank to repair my cooker which cost 1100.00 gave a credit voucher and washed their hands of all responsibility

The Dimplex Sherbourne 20 E which gives the clue it’s an electric fire dated 2020. This fire is a write off if it breaks down as according to Dimplex via one of their service agents there are no spare parts available. Dimplex could not care less. Tough luck! Now as this company had this model made in Korea have they since switched to another country! Who knows but one thing we do know is it’s all about creating income for the top level. No such thing as customer service. AND to top it all these fires are still for sale. So in a brief summary beware the name Dimplex and do not buy any of their products. Buy cheap and if it breaks bay another. You could do that 10 times over and still be ahead ££££. Play them at their own game. All true.
Hope this stops others falling into a named brand trap.
Customer support…or lack of it
Customer support…or lack of it, takes this company to a new level. Knowing what the problem was, was the easy part, trying to get them to do anything about it was another matter. I honestly gave up, sent the unit back…I cant say it was faulty, just needed an impeller replaced, as it was out of balance, so wobbled and made a noise. Last time dealing with these morons!
Kept on hold for 51 minutes at 9am
I was on on hold for 51 minutes in order to register the warranty for my Dimplex heater. I deliberately rang at 9am to ensure I was not kept on hold.
This discriminates against people who would prefer to do things by phone.
Absolutely clueless when it comes to…
Absolutely clueless when it comes to customer service and follow up. I have had an issue that has been ongoing for months. If I do not continually follow up nothing happens. The lady that answers the phone is lovely, after that it all goes down hill. Obviously no procedures in place to ensure service work actually gets carried out.
Another Scam Company
This company baits consumers with nice looking space heaters made as cheap as possible in China that fail or break within a year or less, consistantly. I have had multiple, purposefully built-to-break heaters from this company. My one heater broke after only 4 months, they denied any warranty claim and had the audacity to offer me a replacement heater blower for 156 and change, which probably cost them Less than 5 dollars from china. This is a scam company and needs to be investigated, sued, and shut down. Not only this is a criminal company, but their greedy business contributes many products into landfills, and they dont care.
GD Support very helpful and kind
After a HSDS150 storage heater went faulty and a GD engineer repaired it last November. It did not appear to heat up and the smart meter was very low, I thought it developed another fault. But after a GD Rep phoned me and she was very good and kind at explaining the problem. I had the temp setting too low. Turned up to 21c and now the heater is working fine. I panicked because of the forecast of bitterly cold and snow. Thank you GD Support.

I brought a Morphyrichards glass jug blender for my daughter in law for Christmas, through Amazon web site. It leaked . So I went back to the site to get a refund. Then I am transferred to Glen Dimplex Customer Service - what a disaster. I have given details to Grace Weston, Faye Kennedy and Demi Marie Edmonds. All seem not for me to send this faulty item back but to ask the same questions . The last one was asking for a video of what is wrong !!! the item cost £34. 95 . And they have a CEO , MAYBE HE CAN HELP because these agents can not. AMAZON TO THE RESCUE ! WHO SORTED IT OUT WITH ONE ON LINE CHAT .

Total disgusted with this company, booked a repair to my cooker hood on 19th Jan 23, only to be told wire had fell through motor (Husband is an engineer and bearings have worn), no motor bought with engineer, 2nd visit 7th Feb 23, only to being rudely told that motor should have been delivered to my home address, but customer services advised me that the motor goes to a drop box for the engineer to pick up. And low and behold next appointment 28th Feb 23 is a no show, and lies to his head office that he has left a message on my phone saying that the motor he received was damaged. I made the first phone call to domestic and general on the 9th of Jan 23. And as you can imagine total shocked with this company and currently in the process of taking this way further. So be warned totally and utterly useless.

After Writing to the CEO of Dimplex Regarding my Dimplex JAZ20N which I believe we bought in 2020, After we decorated the front room, I have hunted high and low for my receipt but have been unsuccessful in finding this as it was just over 2 years ago. So I am after some help as I have only used the product in the winter time and this year when we really needed it, it failed to work, totally dead, I have changed the fuse in the plug and the whole plug, I have put new bulbs in but still nothing, I have tried different wall sockets, but it is still dead as doornail. So I am asking for some help to resolve my issue, as I believe the product has had less than a years working life in total as we don't use it in the summer and in Autumn we only have the flame light on, so for the thing die completely I find it very hard to comprehend that it's working life should be so short.
After 5 Weeks of Emailing.. Dimplex GDHV Resolutions who take from 3 to 7 Days to reply to emails and after I found the fault to be with the main Control board.. This is the Final reply from GDHV Resolutions Team.
Upon looking at the images it does look like the main PCB board is the issue.

So before you buy a Dimplex product please beware that they are happy that their products can only last just over 2 years ( but actually a working life of 1 year due to not being used in the summer months), and that they don't supply some of the Major parts. So you will have to Bin the product and buy a new one or probably spend as much taking a chance that an electrician might be able to fix it.
So my experience of Dimplex is not a good one.
Not a good product, Not Value for Money, Poor Customer Service.. Overall this has put me off ever recommending Dimplex or ever buying another Dimplex product for as long as I live.

Last year the heater did not work after I entered in a new house and I have to wait 1 month (in winter!) to get my heater fixed. The engineer told me to turn off and turn on the heater in May when I won't need it anymore. So I did and this year again the same problem. I have contacted there 2 weeks ago and still no answer. One of the engineer told me he would contact me last monday. Did you hear anything? Me no..... Use more modern heaters and do not contact their customer service, they are absolutely useless.

On Nov 11th I booked and paid £189 in advance for a repair on a Stoves Sterling range cooker which needed to happen before xmas.
The engineer came, said he needed to order parts and would be in contact.
After chasing a number of times, I was told the repair had been cancelled - clearly no repaired cooler for xmas.
I have been in contact numerous times and been given a refund of under 25%.
I am insisting on a full refund but have very slow and obstructive communications from them.
Please use a local repair service - do not use GDCA or GDHA (same people)

I bought a very expensive storage heater made by this company. After installation, it turned out to have a defective charge controller. (This means that the amount that it heats up overnight does not adapt properly to prevailing conditions, as it should.)
A service engineer visit was booked in, but was a no-show, despite having been confirmed by the company two days before. I have heard nothing further from the company, despite several emails, and phone calls that simply result in me being on hold for ages.
I am left in the middle of winter with a main source of heating that does not work properly.

Left with broken cooker, 5 visits and hours on the phone. I have 4 kids, one with disabilities and yet they still leave us with no replacement and just send another engineer who does not fix it. Now had months of this. Do not use this company, they keep putting the prices of insurance up and never actually answer the phone, when they finally do they do not fix the issue and refuse to send a replacement cooker, just excuses.

I have a policy with Domestic and General and had a problem with my cooker. I was given a booking reference and told to call GlenDimplex, they did not answer the phone despite numerous attempts. I then emailed them a week ago and have still heard nothing.
On a previous occasion it took 3/4 visits to sort out a problem with the thermostat. At least they answered the phone then!

Disgraceful customer service from GDHA
I have a practically new Stoves oven which, in two years, has several fundamental faults. The manufacturer, Glen Dimplex (GDHA), talks the talk on its fatuous website but doesn't 'walk the walk' in terms of actually caring about customers. My main oven has broken yet again and yet I was met with an extremely unpleasant and unhelpful response from the company's agent who offered me a repair 51 days later towards the end of January 2023 - and this during the Christmas period when I have many mouths to feed. The operative, Chris, said: "Our priority is customers who have no cooking facilities whatsoever." There was a total lack of understanding of the problem their faulty appliance is causing; no empathy; and no apology. This repair was through Domestic & General Insurance, demonstrating that GDHA don't even prioritise those consumer paying a significant annual premium for speedy and efficient service. Disgraceful service.
