Purchased Crossray Outdoor Kitchen in…

Purchased Crossray Outdoor Kitchen in December 2023. Had burner fail in December 2025. Contacted warranty Co. Glen Dimplex in December 2025 and had to chase until March 2026 to get a response that the burner would be replaced under warranty. Over a month later and no part or response to my follow up emails.
Do not give these guys any of your money. They are hurting the brands of the products they supply.

Exceptional customer service after boiler breakdown

I experienced a boiler breakdown in January, unfortunately right when temperatures dropped to freezing point. I contacted Dimplex and their customer service was exceptional. Replies were very quick and comprehensive and they managed to sort out my issues, guiding me by phone and email exchange. I have genuinely never experienced this level of customer service before and it’s not one particular in person as I’ve had many names email me from their team. This is the type of service that customers remember and make you want to stick with a company.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience, Avoid like the Plague ! I made the mistake of buying a tv from them, all the apps, tv guides etc were set to the wrong time, i complained, they said they'd look into and get back to me, 6 months later i contacted them again to see if there was any update, i got an angry email back, that basically chastised me for daring to bother them, saying not to contact them again and that the were "still looking into it", needless to say that was more than a year ago......

Dreadful customer service and rubbish product

Please, Please do not buy from Glen Dimplex Ireland. Had a three year old XLR Storage heater that cost well over a grand whose fan broke. Service call logged with Glen Dimplex - call out advised within a 5 day period. Yesterday was advised that service technician Ken Coleman would be out that afternoon and would call us that morning to advise of time. Neither of us received a phone call received so I rang again at 2pm. This time I was given a 'definite' call out time of between 4-5pm with a phone call before that. Waited again. No phone call. At 3.50pm received a phone call from the service department to see if Ken had been in contact - 'no'. Advised yet again that 'Ken' would 'definitely' be there between 4 and 5pm. Waited again - didn't show - realised at 5.30pm he was not going to show. One day of annual leave gone waiting in.
This morning got a missed call and rang 'Ken' back - totally adamant that he had rung both of us and had the texts to 'prove it' Asked 'would I be around in the afternoon?'
I have rarely dealt with such dreadful customer service - unless he was give the wrong phone number which is doubtful as we rang on multiple occasions it is doubtful that 'Ken' bothered to contact either of us. Dreadful - AVOID - this service. Apart from anything else the heater was only 3 years old and the fan broke so it's obviously a bad product.

Why isn’t there a zero score

Why isn’t there a zero score? My experience doesn’t deserve a one star.
I paid $182 for a part to be delivered that wasn’t even relevant to the Osbourne electric fire which I had recently bought from a friend who was changing to a solid wood heater.
There was no glass front in front of the logs. I enquired to Glen Dimplex as to whether there was a glass front spare h part to go IN FRONT of the Osbourne. “Yes” I was told by the incompetent employee.Eventually it arrived in a huge box marked ‘Fragile Glass’, yet the box was very light to carry, and that is because there was a piece of Perspex, not glass, in the box. This piece of Perspex is a part that would fit BEHIND the logs. After an exasperating conversation with employee number two I was told it was very important and necessary to have a Dimplex technician to fit it. Whew!!
Employee number three deserved her wages at the end of the week because she told me that the Osbourne model didn’t have and wasn’t designed to have a glass INFRONT of the logs.
I can’t even start to relate the hours of conversations I have had to get a refund of my $182 for a piece of Perspex which must be returned by me taking said piece of Perspex in original box and packaging to a post office— return postage label ( free to me) print off by Post Office staff. Not possible, return label doesn’t exist.
Although the box is not heavy it’s very difficult for me to carry not only to the Post Office from my car but back again to my car and another round trip another day —- when? I get employee number 1 — 10 to send me a return label. No returns after 30 days it’s says ! I just want my $182 back. Shame on you Glen Dimplex.

Spoke to Leanne on technical helpline a couple times on same day, she was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was with a difficult customer on one of the calls, I was so pleased that she was able to help me, and was able to explain everything that was asked while customer listened in on call.

A business on its last legs

Worst business in their industry.
They used to be good, but the quality of their extractor fans is the worst in the industry.

We had an Xpelair Humidistat fan that lasted just over 2 months. We have another one of these which we have switched the isolator off on. We will be looking for a replacement.

This business ignores all EU consumer laws (on Ireland) and all UK consumer laws on warranties which will hopefully lead to their demise soon as I will definitely report them for their failures. I urge others to use consumer legislation breaches against this dodgy business.

delivered a new cooker

delivered a new cooker, it turned up damaged, not lpg converted as ordered, installed and so noisy unusable, spent over 5 hrs on 3 different phone lines but never answered, one call I was waiting 1hr 23 mins, do not buy a stoves cooker or any thing from them, my range was 2k and 2 weeks later no reply, e mails sent as well, avoid at all costs, we still can not cook 2 weeks on

Been waiting 3 months for a…

Been waiting 3 months for a refund/replacement for a faulty fan. They are doing everything in their power not to sort it, Absolutely pathetic. It's only £40!

I wish I read the reviews first for this aboslute joke of a company. Pathetic little penny pinchers.

If you buy from a chinese owned company they will sort it in a matter of hours. Oh how times have changed.

Low quality, terrible pathetic customer service.

A friend had a Dimplex dehumidifier …

A friend had a CDimplex dehumidifier model GDDE-EVDRI16E. It stopped working and was out of warranty. They asked for a repair and was told we do not repair the. They were about to land fill it. I was asked to look at it and quickly found the problem was the control board had burnt out components. No problems I thought as Googling Glen Dimplex their 2022 annual report had a whole section on sustainability and reducing waste. Fergal Naughton Group CEO was pictured saying how sustainability was the main driving force for the company.
With no luck in New Zealand who say they make getting spares easy I tried a service comany in Ireland who alledgedly are the biggest service center. No reply.
I have sent an email to Dimplex head office and the reply I received was sorry we have no parts for that unit as we do not repair it.
So now I am stuck. I cannot get a PCB. I cannot find or get any details on the PCB so I may be able to effect repairs.
This means the de- humidifier unit will be land fill with the motor, the refrigeration unit, the chassis, etc. I suppose in the age of Dimplex sustainability a Printed Circuit Board manufactured in 2021. is really old.
Luckily I did not buy the unit bit I have told several people not to invest or waste their money buying Dimplex.

Dimplex lehnt jegliche Hilfe ab, somit ist dieses Unternehmen nicht zu empfehlen, da habe ich mit Vaillant bedeutend bessere Erfahrungen gemacht - aber hier zeigt sich wieder, wer billig kauft, kauft zweimal, schade.

Had a Dimplex boiler installed in my new home in London. It broke within 6 months. Took about a month to get a replacement boiler. The fitters broke my door lock and bathroom tap, and also left dirty footprints all over my bathroom floor and hallway floor. Very very poor experience.

Appalling customer service

New oven. Inner glass shattered. It took two months to get a replacement. Each time we called or emailed, they said they had no record of us. We forwarded them copies of their automated replies, acknowledging that they had in fact received our emails. Eventually they sent a replacement glass. No instructions on how to fit it. As an elderly lady, I had no idea. Watched Youtube videos and finally found out I had to remove the entire oven door.

Nach dem update letztes Jahr hat die Wärmepumpe dann dreimal so viel Strom verbraucht - der Techniker konnte keinen Fehler finden und ich bleibe auf den Kosten des Technikers und der Stromnachzahlung sitzen. Kein Entgegenkommen seitens GlenDimplex.

Minus five stars wouldn't cover it

Minus five stars wouldn't cover it. I'm a Plumber on several occasions, I tried to seek technical information, but their service department is the worst I've come across of all the companies I've dealt with. WARNING: DO NOT BUY THEIR WOOD HEATERS. This is a short summary, BTW. Absolutely appalling seriously.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. My unit missing TWO pieces of wood to prevent it from continuing to dip in the center. Pictures were sent of the dipping, the serial and model numbers were provided, It was confirmed it was their unit, and the warranty had not expired, Again, I was looking for two pieces of wood. Not a new unit. Not an upgraded unit. Two pieces of wood. I got the run around for weeks. And even had someone call me without leaving their name or title from 360-693-2505 to leave me a message to say they no longer have the two pieces of wood. They make these items. Not sure why two pieces of wood could not be provided.

iv had a pretty dreadful time with this company first time I had a problem with an engineer, a Chinese guy, he started getting rude and disrespectful to me in my home i had to throw him out of my property, left without a working cooker, second time nobody turned up 4th time nobody turned up this coming has to be the worst customer service I am currently on a call with Karren who was meant to call me back but didn't bother, so iv called and she has just put me on hold for the last hour I'm on hold writing this review, I think these 1-star companies should get find or not be allowed to operate as they do, anyway I'm still waiting, I'm sure others have been through the same

Avoid!

We invested in a Stoves Induction Range cooker, installed 3rd December, induction hob stopped working after two days. Discovered that Stoves is owned by Glen Dimplex, they outsource their maintenance and customer support with appalling results. It took several visits from engineers before one who knew what he was doing replaced the induction unit and repaired the hob on 14th February. All that time without a working hob, including the Christmas period, was a nightmare! I suspect Glen Dimplex are attempting to save money by outsourcing maintenance and customer support but surely the cost of multiple visits and multiple incorrect parts was more than doing the job properly in the first place.

Avoid at all costs

We installed one of their heaters in a Church vestry which was ok for about 8 weeks then problems started.
They wouldn't reply so we paid for outsourced parts but their product just isn't reliable. Ended up installing a different heater and being approx £600 out of pocket.
Still no response to our 2 tickets raised, just a bot acknowledging receipt.
