Recently returned from three countries explorer staying at Walram Hotel in Valkenberg Holland. Driver Blair was very friendly and approachable. Coach was clean and comfortable with enough legroom for the bigger man. The hotel was spotless and comfortable with air conditioning and a spa bath in the bathroom, although the room was a bit on the small side. The hotel is well situated centrally in Valkenberg a short distance away from streets full of shops and restaurants. Also a handy supermarket, called Jumbo about 100 yards from the hotel itself. Table service for the three course meals each evening with a choice of two main courses. No choice for starter or pudding. Main course had to be chosen the day before. Food at dinner and the buffet breakfast was well presented by staff who were very friendly. A point to bear in mind that price for beer and wine in the hotel was a bit cheaper than the the restaurants in the main parts of Valkenberg. Our trips took us to city of Cologne, Mastricht where we boarded for a river cruise to Leige and on journey home stopped in Brussels ( All 3 places have lots of shops). Although our driver pointed us in the right direction in Cologne we were left to find our own way to the central parts of Leige and Brussels. It would have been a nice touch to have had a guided bus tour of all or at least one of the places we visited.

Bus arrived at hamilton fit for the scrapper dented scratched and not fit for purpose. No power on USB door to toilet use a screwdriver to get it opened. Well I thot id had seen everything till I had to use it myself.floor soaken and toilet soiled no toilet paper Had to go and use paper towel and clean it so I cd use it. I will never use o ecommend glenton again. Managing director is needing to see buses he's using and take trip on them himself.

I recently returned from a Glenton Travel tour to the Inishowen Gateway Hotel in Buncrana, and it was fantastic from start to finish.

Our driver, Graeme, is an absolute credit to Glenton Travel. He was informative, an exceptional driver, and went out of his way to help everyone while engaging brilliantly with all the passengers. The coach itself was comfortable, clean, and in good condition.

The hotel was excellent with wonderful, helpful staff. Our rooms were comfortable and spotless. The facilities were impressive. Special mention must go to the food—it was absolute first class and easily the best I’ve ever had on a coach tour.

The day excursions were well-planned, varied, and allowed plenty of time to explore each place without feeling rushed. I would highly recommend this tour.

The driver was excellent and went over and above to ensure our enjoyment of the trip. We felt very safe with his driving.
Hotel was excellent with very clean rooms. Food although limited to 3 main choices was well prepared and delicious.

Coach was very clean and comfortable. Driver was efficient and helpful, giving clear information and instructions about scheduled stops and departure/arrival times.
Locations visited were interesting with sufficient time allocated to each visit.

I spoke with Craig at Glenton coach travel to book a day trip he was very pleasant polite and professional he gave me several options for a trip l found he was very informative regarding the company its having staff like Craig it makes all the difference when booking he's a great asset to the team and company.

The hotel was well situated, with good facilities and the staff were generally helpful. The dining room ran smoothly and the food was of a good standard. The bedroom ,however, was dreadful. It was small and lacked ventilation, with windows jammed shut.
The excursions were well planned and enjoyable.

Using Ambassador cruise line made leaving from Dundee very straightforward.Embarkation and dis -embarkation was seamless. Norway was a beautiful country. The ship was scrupulously clean with lovely staff and excellent food. I would hope Glenton continue to use this company. Thank you.

This was our first time cruising and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was made all the more special by Glenton’s five star door to door service, both embarkation and disembarkation were made so easy. You are to be commended Glenton on giving us a wonderful holiday of a lifetime. Thank you.

Relaxing break where everything is sorted for you. Locations chosen to visit were lovely and staff at hotel could not have done an more for us. Luggage taken to/picked up from our door; meals were amazing; everyone was friendly.
Would have liked longer to explore more of the city centre of Dublin but noting the average age on the coach, it was probably enough for most people.

This was my husbands first trip with glentons and he really enjoyed the experience the excursions were brilliant I would only say a bit longer free time at some on the excursions like Wexford that was the only thing hotel was brilliant and food was fantastic

We have just returned from a most enjoyable Romance of the Rhine river cruise. Prior to going, we were concerned that the low water levels on the Rhine might affect our cruise, which turned out to be the case.

We travelled by coach from Edinburgh to Amsterdam via the Hull to Rotterdam ferry, which all went to plan.

We then left Amsterdam on MS Symphonie as planned, with the excursions as mentioned in the tour info on the way up to Koblenz. However, when we reached Koblenz, the ship’s captain explained that the Rhine beyond Koblez up to Basil was no longer navigable because of the extremely low water level.

However, the cruise did continue along the Moselle, stopping at Cochem and Trier. Guided walking tours in both were very good. In Cochem we enjoyed a wine tasting in a local winery, which was also very good. Our cruise continued along the Moselle, finishing at Remich in Luxembourg. The scenery along the Moselle river is stunning.

The staff on the ship were all very attentive and helpful and whilst there is no choice of food during lunch or dinner, what is offered is very good and the wine is of a reasonable standard. Our cabin was comfortable, with good ensuite facilities. Storage for clothing was adequate.

Our driver Darren was excellent throughout, taking us on our excursions to the Dutch Open Air Museum (think Beamish) at Arnhem, which was very interesting and also to Cologne. At the end of the cruise in Remich, he suggested visiting Rudesheim, nice place, on our way to our overnight hotel in Bonn. The hotel President in Bonn is of a reasonable standard for accommodation and breakfast. However, the food on offer for the evening meal was poor. There was also an issue when we arrived, as the one parking bay outside the hotel was taken by 2 cars, which meant our driver had to find alternative parking, which, unfortunately, was some distance away from the hotel. This was beyond his control. He did manage to claim the parking bay in the morning.

On leaving Bonn, Darren suggested that rather than following Glenton’s itinerary, which would have taken us back to Amsterdam for some free time (which we had our fill at the start of the holiday), he suggested going to Brielle, which is only around 15 mins from Europoort. Everyone agreed and it is a lovely place to visit and it’s said to be one of the Netherland’s hidden gems. It certainly is and I would suggest that Glenton make it a permanent feature of future tours.

From the moment I booked our Jersey by air holiday with Glenton holidays Glasgow everything went perfectly. We flew from Glasgow airport to Jersey. Our check in was stress free as Glenton had taken care of everything. They had preprinted our boarding passes and arranged transport from Jersey airport to our hotel. Hotel Monterey was lovely. The food was exceptional and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We had a wonderful time and will be returning to Jersey next year using Glenton holidays

travelled from Scotland on 30/7/26 for an 11 day holiday 7 days on the Romantic Rhine, ship was called Symphonie a Croisi Europe vessel.
From the moment we got picked up by our coach driver Darren to when we came home we had a wonderful time.
Darren was very helpful and patient during the trip.
Because the river levels were low about half way into our cruise the boat was redirected to the Mossell. For us this was an added bonus. The staff on board were fantastic and dealt with everyone in a professional and caring manner. The food on board was fantastic, as expected no choice but if you did not like it they tried to offer you something else. Plenty free drinks. Cabin was good and cleaned every day .Overall a wonderful holiday. As this was our 2nd time on this tour our expectations were met. Not happy with food at overnight hotel
