Andrea the vet is excellent. I have been twice to bring my dogs and he made the visit and the treatment easy and also affordable. He truly cares for our pets and also makes sure to find solutions and not overcharge us like in my experience other places do. I had bad experiences in the past of vets in other places wanting to do unnecessary expensive tests and unnecessary expensive treatments and putting my pets under anesthetics when was not necessary which meant a risk to our loved pets with the anesthetics and also very high bills when there were other more simple and less risks solutions. I am bringing all my pets to Goddard group now and will always ask for Andrea if he is available. Other vets at Goddard have also been excellent to my pets in emergency treatments. Their receptionist are also very kind and caring. I am staying with Goddard and I love the way the vet Andrea resolves all health issues with my Pets. Thank you very much. Angie xx

Having been with the vets for over 25 years, I have now moved to an interdependent vet in Clapham. Over the last few years the care has been ok, however in my opinion, the main focus of this business has shifted to cash and profit generation. Their customer service is dreadful - dont expect a resolution or even a reply. Vet cost always come in 30-40% above what is quoted and medication is 6 to 8 times more expensive than on line. My advice is to go to an interdependent vet where you pets health is the main focus.

The entire team at Goddards Caterham are amazing. They take such amazing care of our beautiful dog Luna, and clearly care very much about her. The advice given is always helpful, measured and informative. When costs have gotten very expensive (due to Luna being so unfortunate in her health) they will often advise the cheapest options available and help us to know how to take care for her specific needs at home ourselves. The administrative staff are brilliant, replying to emails and calls swiftly, processing insurance claims and giving us updates when our dog has been in for various procedures. I whole heartedly recommend this practice.
I am giving a 4 star rating rather than a 5 because the prices are very high. If i compare the cost of human ultrasounds and x-rays at private hospitals to those which Luna has had a the vets, the human ones are far cheaper. The prices are obviously set by the Goddard company and not the individual practice.

I am ever grateful to Goddard Veterinary Services. Although they are not exotic specialist who attends to Birds they attended us and our pet "Sona"
We went there last sunday around 2:30 or 3 AM.

We were anxious as we didn't had a clue what to expect. We were told about the consultation fee

When the Vet Nurse came he mercifully consulted us and made a referral ans advised what to do as next steps

The consultation fee was £300 but the Nurse decided not to charge us and made a free referral

We are so grateful and thanks for showing mercy upon us 🙏🏻

Just so everyone know you have to pay consultation fee for sure but in our situation they attended even though they were not exotic specialist and made a referral to right place.

We went to another vet service - where disappointingly didn't had pleasant experience of what's been said and done and what kind of report was given as discharge notes nevertheless our Sona has naturally being healed and started eating fod and was revived.

We’ve been bringing our dogs here for the past six years, and we couldn’t ask for a better vet. He is consistently kind, compassionate, and genuinely cares about every animal he treats. You can tell he goes above and beyond—not just in his medical expertise, but in the way he takes the time to reassure both pets and their owners.

Just had my little dog neutered at Epsom Downs surgery and I cannot fault the very kind and considerate service I received from Vet Alex, Vet nurse Meg and the rest of the team. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending them for the care of your pet.

I highly recommend Goddard Veterinary Group at Tattenham Corner where I have been going for the past few years as the service and care my cats receive is excellent. On two separate occasions my cats were bitten by a neighbour's cat and they were seen promptly and put at ease by Alex the vet.

I have a very nervous traumatised rescue dog who needed her vaccination .
The vet and staff understood and were patient and calm with her even though she did not make it easy for them .

This 1 star is for the company, not the staff. Goddards is owned by vetpartners which in turn is owned by BC Partners. BC Partners is a private equity firm which is profit driven, not animal welfare driven. They prey on owners love for their pets to squeeze as much money out of them while they are vulnerable. I was quoted £3900 for PU surgery for my cat. That did not include hospitalisation which would have been added after. A local private practice would have done the surgery for £1500 including 10 days in the hospital. Fortunately he hasnt needed the op but the treatment he did have came to over £1800. I still owe £489 and am being constantly harrassed and charges added while i try to find the rest of the money. The debt company even tried to say i agreed to a payment plan and didnt stick to it. Goddards do not offer payment plans and when i asked for a copy they ignored the request.
The staff, nurses and vets at the new addington and croydon branches are fantastic but their bosses are just in it for the massive profits to be made and do not care about animal welfare. Try to find an independant surgery if at all possible and stop lining these fat cats pockets. After 37 years of using the same surgery i will never use Goddards again.

To the review response team, do not bother replying to tell me to contact you via your feedback form. My name and surgery used are on this review, find the information yourselves. The outstanding balance will be paid when i have it but i WILL NOT be paying any extra charges.

Super friendly staff at Tattenham Corner. Alex, the vet, has been great for both my dogs and cat in the past. I value his opinion and believe he has the interests of the animals in his charge uppermost

What a terrible money grabbing veterinary surgery. Please read this and take heed go elsewhere. I would urge you to a Vet that actually cares and it's not about the money

Megan was as always great with our cat and very good with giving us tips and guidance as to what works and doesn't work, for instance how best to cut his claws!

I can’t thank the team at our vets enough for the incredible care they show my cat. They are always so kind, patient and genuinely compassionate, which makes such a difference when you’re worried about your pet. 🐾

They also go above and beyond when it comes to helping with insurance claims, making what could be a stressful process feel simple and straightforward. Their support and professionalism really give peace of mind.

I’m so grateful to have such a caring and dedicated team looking after my cat – highly recommended to anyone looking for a vet who truly cares. ❤️

Alex and all the staff lovely treated my mums dog so well he had 12 teeth out and cleaned, They all look after Oscar well recommend this vet to anyone.

Have been using Gordon and his team at collier row for over 18 years and would highly recommend this practice, nothing too much trouble and always takes time to explain question's and looked after both my dogs . my jack Russell is over 18 years old and totally trust them and mans best friend is his dog !!!
