We have 2 new kittens and needed to get them registered. We saw the positive reviews on google and made an appointment. We were very impressed with the level of service. All of the staff were super friendly and our vet was amazing. He spent time with us giving us really valuable advice and thoroughly checking over our kittens over. I would highly recommend this practice.

Lovely vets practice, had a fantastic experience recently taking my Luna for her health check & vaccinations. Vet was so kind & positive whilst being very thorough and efficient with the treatment.

When I first went to this branch it was well..grotty but there was no choice as vets have become overwhelmed with new customers. A small practice with an ever changing series of staff where the service got progressively worse over time.

When staff keep leaving and you meet a different person every time it shows there is a reason the staff are leaving.

Clinicians made several mistakes and I had to correct them and all of them were very inexperienced staff. The reception, if it can even be called that, is much worse as the staff has degraded in quality over the years leading to lack of empathy or compassion.

Several times they tried to upsell on unnecessary procedures unaware that the customer may have friends who are vets themselves and advised me accordingly.

The charges for normal services are overpriced. The staff are abysmal. There was a Competition and Markets Authority investigation in the merger of this company stating that it would likely lead to poorer services and that is precisely what has happened.

I'm sure they aren't aware of the number of customers who have left their branch as multiple people warned me about them but I thought I would give them a chance. Don't use them, read the other reviews. Also trust your pet. When your pet suddenly acts scared of the staff, there's something wrong. Trust your pet. There are much better vets out there, just go and look for them.

Had a great experience with all the staff. Helpful friendly and very reassuring. They looked after my cat really well. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you

An outstanding experience
The out of hours emergency vet was professional and compassionate and quickly and effectively sorted out my dog who had been choking on an obstruction in her throat. What an exceptional service this surgery provides 24/7 365 I greatly value having this surgery so close to home.

We’ve been using Goddards for over 30 years, whoever has worked there have always been kind, friendly and helpful. Our dogs are always happy to go to the the vets and get excited when we pull up in the car

Booked appt weeks in advance. They cancelled appt on the day due to sickness but offered me an emergency appt instead 15 mins before my original appt costing £120!! Absolute p1sstake. Had to rearrange the date.
In fairness to the vet I did finally see, she was great.
But the moneymaking model Goddards now operate under should be investigated, it is not fit for purpose .

Never had an issue with veterinarian, staff or treatment - always very caring and friendly and we have always managed to get an appointment when needed. Yesterday I took my dog in as I was concerned he may have a grass seed up his nostril, and thankfully nothing was found BUT a 10 minute consultation cost £59 - with our 10% (monthly plan) discount already applied! I feel this is too expensive and would possibly make people think twice before seeking advice

I took my dog Robbie to Goddard Highbury yesterday as he has an infection in his foot. The vet and vet nurse were amazing with my dog. The vet fully investigated his foot and prescribed him antibiotics.

Thank you for being so caring towards Robbie and explaining things in detail to us.

Attended on Saturday 8th August 2026 with my dog Milo. The reason for our visit was that on attending a different vet I was told that although he had been neutered it appears it had not been carried out correctly and there was still something there. (Milo was a street dog from Romania where he was neutered before entering this Country) worried that if something had been left behind I started to fret in case it turned cancerous. On visiting this fantastic vet Milo was thoroughly examined and I was assured that nothing had been left behind but that he did have a small amount of fatty tissue in that region. The vet made me feel extremely relieved and I am absolutely delighted not to have to worry over Milo. I will be taking Milo back in September with my other dog Millie for her vaccinations and under no circumstances would I use any other Vet. Thank you so much to the vet and the practitioner who were so knowledgeable and helpful, please keep up the good work

My animals have been seen by Goddard for the past 20 years and will continue doing so for the next20. They treat each animals with the time and care you would want your fur baby to recieve. Highly recommend

I visit with my tia and was really amazing vet dr very polite and the receptionist too . Excellent service.

Just amazing. Both Paulo, receptionist and nurse not only professional but kind and compassionate too. You can tell how much experience they have under their belts by the way they approach advice, customer service, handling your companion etc. My feline companion is 16 and very poorly indeed and they made both of us feel so safe in their hands. After 6 weeks of sheer stress and anxiety with another service I finally felt heard and that the right course of action was being taken to discover exactly what is wrong. We all need that in those times don't we? At this practice that is exactly what you will receive so I can't recommend them more highly.

My first time here for an emergency appt on the advice of my usual practice. From the person I spoke to when I rang to make the appt, the reception staff + the truly amazing vet - Jai Patel - everyone I encountered was warm + professional. Dr Patel went through every option, listened to my thoughts + was extremely reassuring. It's a great shame he's a locum at the practice as I'd definitely move my pets there!!

I’ve been taking my cats to Goddard Croydon for years and they have always been very compassionate and kind to my pets. Straightforward to book and appointment and their pet plan for parasite treatment is really handy.
