We held the hospital memorial service at Greenacres on 13/10/24 which we do every year. Tracey and her team are amazing, very supportive before, during and after the event. Nothing is ever too much trouble and provide a personal touch which the grieving families acknowledge.

Staff were helpful and considerate and the Epping venue was significantly better than the other crematoriums we'd considered.

Greenacres Epping, … thank you for such a professional and personal experience, full of kindness and respect, following the very sad loss of my wonderful Mum in July.

Our contact, Leigh, went above and beyond, always making herself available and guiding us each step of the way. Quite honestly, the whole team surpassed themselves, including the ladies working alongside Leigh and the groundsman, so thank you all so much.

Greenacres Epping is a spectacular location. On the afternoon of my Mum’s Celebration of Life, a handful of peahens passed by the glass backdrop overlooking the stunning woodland behind the Service Hall just before the service began. On the day of my Mum’s inter of ashes, deer roamed the meadow behind my Mum’s plot. Absolutely enchanting.

Thank you so so much to the Greenacres Epping team for helping us to create such a beautiful, unique and special send off for my Mum. It was the perfect “until we see you again” for my amazing Mum xxx

I recently had a memorial bench placed at GreenAcres, Heatherley Woods in Grayshott for my mother, who passed away in 2004. The setting is incredibly peaceful, and the bench, situated next to a beautiful pond, feels like the perfect place to remember her.

Jenny, who organised the process, did an amazing job ensuring that the bench was beautifully carved. The attention to detail is stunning, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The site itself is wonderfully maintained, offering a serene and natural environment that brings comfort and peace. I highly recommend GreenAcres to anyone looking for a special and tranquil way to honour their loved ones.

If I could leave a 'no star' review I would. 9 years ago we held a service for my mother at Green Acres, Epping. The service was double booked and when we eventually had the service they started it while I was helping my Aunt to the service building! Yearly, my brother and I visit the Book of Remembrance only to find the room has not been unlocked and you have to hunt down a member of staff to open it. This year was the 10th anniversary of my Mother's death, a meaningful time. We arrived and the gates were open but the room was locked and the admin block was locked too. There were no staff members present and believe me we looked for them. This was at 10.30 when the site was 'opened' at 9. Do not patronise this place, it is very badly run.

We recently laid my father to rest at Kemnal Park. Such a beautiful setting, extremely well maintained and they really do cater for the living. When we first visited, the lovely Emma Jacobs was there to help and support us, and has been ever since. Emma was there at Dad’s burial with a basket of rose petals and to support the family. We find it such a huge comfort when we go to pay dad a visit as it feels so welcoming at all times. I know Dad would be happy to know he is in such a lovely setting being well cared for and tended to by people that genuinely care for those who have passed as well as those that go to visit. During such a very difficult time, the staff and surroundings of Kemnal have made the whole process a lot easier to deal with. Eternal thanks to you all.

The location and peacefulness of the site. There was no rush, no waiting for the previous ceremony to end and no rush to leave to make way for the next on.

We had our darling brother's send off at Heatherley Park, Grayshott, on Friday, 6th September 2024 followed by the wake there. The location is wonderful, the staff could not be more helpful. We had a non-denominational service with loads of music specially selected to suit him and his tastes (he was a very talented guitarist), along with a visual tribute and photo boards reflecting his life. Plenty of time for the service and after, family & friends all very pleased at such a sad time. Highly recommend.

GreenAcres is set in beautiful woodland and was the perfect setting for my dad’s funeral. The staff are amazing and we could not have wished for a more perfect place to celebrate my dad’s life. We will be scattering his ashes here as we know he will be happy here, the wildlife and beautiful nature would be where he is most at home. Thank you GreenAcres.

The Woodland chapel / hall and grounds at GreenAcres Chilterns provide an incredibly beautiful and peaceful space for a funeral and burial. The staff are exceptionally helpful, generous and accommodating – I could not recommend their services at this site highly enough, and am especially grateful to Geraldine for her outstanding professionalism and sympathetic assistance. In my case, I only found out when choosing the actual grave site on the grounds that my husband had always wanted to be buried here. I believe the service we held for him enabled me to truly honour his life and burial wishes. Considering the service we held was unique – it was part traditional/non-traditional Jewish (Hebrew) and part contemporary Christian (English), in keeping with my husband's former life in Israel and his late-stage conversion – many attending commented that it was the most beautiful and deeply moving service they had ever attended. I will be forever grateful to GreenAcres Chilterns for facilitating such a beautiful and wonderfully spiritual ceremony.

I chose a living memorial tree at the Epping Forest Burial Park to inter the ashes of my late husband Paul. All of the staff were kind and helpful throughout the whole process from booking and through to the day of the tree planting. Everything was done with the greatest of respect and professionalism and I am very grateful.

One of the toughest times of life when the family has lost a much loved member, in this case my lovely mum, Shirley. The Greenacres Chiltern staff, both office and grounds have shown nothing but the highest levels of care and empathy. I chose to have a living memorial tree and to have mum's full ashes buried with the planting of the tree. Geraldine was my main point of contact throughout, She is a wonderful representative for Greenacres. Other members of staff, I've met and talked with on the phone, have also been great. I have to say financially this was not cheap. I was able to provide this memorial for Shirley. I know that the family all agree that it is perfect, exactly what she would have wanted. It is a lovely place for our family to come, pay their respects and experience the tranquility of natural surroundings.

We held my Mothers celebration of Life at Heatherley Wood Park this week. I cannot thank the staff enough for their help and kindness towards our family at such an important time. Everyone who attended or watched via the webcast, was so impressed by the memorial hall and the beautiful grounds.
A typical church or cremation service didn’t feel right for our family, and the discovery of this beautiful peaceful place so full of nature and wildlife,was a revelation. So welcoming to everyone,a wonderful spot to remember loved ones.
We had visited the park and my Parents had selected a plot that they liked about two years ago, so when the sad day arrived we were all totally clear about where Mothers ashes would go to rest. I would highly recommend this early approach if at all possible as it provided peace of mind for family when it was most necessary, and positivity for my Mother towards the end of her life.
I genuinely don’t think there could be a nicer burial place and we are so grateful to have found it.

The perfect place to say goodbye to our beloved mum. Beautiful setting and interior, very smooth process with no fuss, plenty of time for a totally dignified send off, and no religion if you chose not as we did. Just lovely.

Dads Ashes. Today at Greenacres EPPING, We was helped by Lisa and the Team to arrange Dads internment to be with Mum. It was very short notice for Lisa to arrange all, But was done in a very professional manner so that on the day the Family could relax with no worries or concerns. Sad day for us but Lisa made this very special for us all. Highly recommend this service at Greenacres Epping and please ask Lisa to help with all you questions She is amazing. Everything on the day was perfect, from the beautiful secluded venue in the woods through to the attentive staff and the faultless ceremony. The best funural ceremony venue i have ever attended, Mum would have loved it.

GreenAcres was recommended to me by the funeral directors. From their verbal description it sounded perfect for my Dad’s funeral. We went to view GreenAcres Chiltern before the funeral and were totally amazed at how perfect it was. We were kindly shown around by a member of staff and they were able to answer our questions. On the day of Dad’s funeral everything went as well as it could. We never felt rushed and had the time needed to say goodbye. I would very highly recommend GreenAcres Chiltern - and would like to thank everyone involved from the bottom of my heart.

Greenacres Heatherley Wood is the perfect place to say goodbye to a loved one. I think it is quite unique and has a natural beauty with so many options. The gathering hall and service hall gives all you need to say goodbye with dignity and style. Above all the staff are superb, efficient, very thoughtful and accommodated every thing we requested - just outstanding all round.

What a beautiful job the team at Greenacres Colney have done in their care of the woodland with such tender loving care, for loved ones and for nature. Every member of the team shows such kindness, compassion, and thoughtfulness for visiting ministers such as myself, and for the families we are caring for. Thank you team, for your ongoing care 💚
