We are delighted with our Alton Elmhurst greenhouse bought from Ditching. Jon Isabeau-Doo helped us every step of the way with the purchase and advising on who could erect it for us. Rhys Matthews plus his partner erected it. He did an excellent job. Jon arranged delivery dates to fit in with the building of the dwarf wall. He was so helpful.

Sue from the Greenhouse People helped me through the buying process. She was very attentive, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. The Greenhouse people provide a helpful level of support for both the purchase and installation. Thank you.

The range of products and display at The Greenhouse People site at Dobbie's Ponteland is impressive and the site manager, Nathan, provides excellent advice in choosing the perfect greenhouse. Both before and after the delivery, The Greenhouse People were helpful and communicative and we're delighted with our Alston Evolution octagonal greenhouse.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant .We bought our greenhouse which was this year exdisplay .Nathan at the Ponteland branch was so helpful but not pushy .we are so pleased with the greenhouse and it looks so right in our garden .from Diane and John once again thank you .

My wife and I recently purchased a log cabin from the Greenhouse People at their site in Ponteland (Dobbies Garden Centre) and it has now been installed in our back garden. The cabin itself is fantastic quality and the whole purchase/delivery/installation experience has run like clockwork. We purchased the cabin from Nathan who, from the onset, has provided exceptional support and customer service - nothing was too much trouble and he consistently went out of his way to ensure all our questions were comprehensively answered and that we were fully informed at all times. The installation team were fantastic too. If you are looking for honesty, quality and fantastic customer service then you wont go wrong here. Highly recommended!

We wanting to buy a greenhouse and found that Dobbies in Ponteland had several on show so we could see what we were buying. Having travelled from West Cumbria, Paul the manager was very knowledgeable and explained everything we needed to know being rookies in the greenhouse field, from the accessories to the different grades of greenhouses. We were so pleased with the level of customer service Paul provided we returned the next day with our daughter to choose a greenhouse suitable for beginners like ourselves. We would highly recommended taking a visit when considering a greenhouse as we feel the service and professionalism from Paul would not be found elsewhere. We are now just waiting for ours to arrive next week ☺️.

These people supply sub standard greenhouse parts, recommend a bunch of cowboys to erect it and wash their hands of everything once you pay upfront.
Avoid like the plague.

The quality of the product, including the installation was flawless, including all coms beforehand.
As we are in the Scotland central belt we used instalĺation fitter "Ian Cochrane" Ian delivered a wonderful service getting the greehouse built / fully erected in 2.5hrs.
Delighted with product and installation, which I highly recommend as the process can be quite complex.

Euan Denham (Denham Installations) was recommended to us by Pete Drummond at Greenhouse People in Edinburgh, although we didn’t buy a new greenhouse. Euan laid the base and erected our secondhand greenhouse and made a brilliant job of it. When we want a shed in the future we would definitely as Euan to erect that for us too.

I had good advice and help from Rebecca at Bents in Leigh. My greenhouse was constructed by Mark Brennan and his team. One of Greenhouse peoples’s approved contractors. They are excellent. The product is good. Solid and sturdy. I am very,very pleased with it Great value for money. The whole process was at lot easier than anticipated. Thanks folks 😀

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. If you want a greenhouse then this is the place to come. Sue at Staines was professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with greenhouses.

Didn’t quite know which one I wanted, they have a very good selection, and was spoilt for choice. Sue sorted me out with the correct size and bits and pieces that I needed, water butt etc.

Also she sorted out a fitter for the base and building it when it is delivered.

Highly, highly recommend.

After a lot of online research we started to seriously consider Greenhouse People as a supplier for the greenhouse we wanted to replace our crumbling summerhouse. We decided to visit the display of greenhouses at Dobbies just outside Dalkeith. The range of greenhouses was very impressive and we particularly liked the Blenheim Hercules. The staff on duty were extremely helpful and friendly and in no way pushy …they didn’t put us under pressure to buy. Delivery was discussed and agreed and delayed to suit our needs as we had to demolish the summerhouse and prepare the site. Everything we discussed was agreed to suit or needs in terms of timing of deliver and the size of delivery vehicle, we have a narrow drive and a very hostile neighbour who complains when leaves are knocked of an overgrown privet hedge. Delivery day came and the driver could not be more helpful . We are now in the process of building the greenhouse and it’s going well . Good instructions. , numbered parts ans all very well packaged .. it's early days in terms of construction but it’s going very well so far . Tools are supplied , instructions are clear . The only thing I would have liked to see which would be very helpful is if the boxes were marked with the parts that they contained. This would do away with opening boxes in the wrong order. If they are in fact marked it isn’t obvious . Very happy to recommend Greenhouse People

We bought the greenhouse after seeing one in the Dobies Garden Centre. The order was dealt with very easily and the company agreed a delivery date to suit us. The guy who delivered it was great. After delivery of our greenhouse we contacted all of the recommended installers on the list sent to us. All 4 responded quickly but Steve Northover gave us a date that worked for us and communicated by email promptly. He arrived at 8.am and worked nonstop until the job was finished. He was professional, clean and very pleasant, explaining the functions of how the roof adjusts the vents automatically very clearly. Despite the very hot temperatures, he had our greenhouse fully installed by early afternoon. We would highly recommend him.’
