I have been looking for a greenhouse for sometime and subscribed to the Greenhouse people keeping an eye out for an offer to pop up in my emails. Anyway one come through so I took the plunge. I have to say from placing the order to the end result has been a dream, the quality / fixtures of the greenhouse is absolutely first class. I would also recommend using one of their approved installers. Even though I am pretty handy at DIY I would not have attempted it. Guy called Simon who covers the Yorkshire area was a top guy and certainly knew his stuff explaining in detail how the vents work and how to maintain amongst other tips.

My wife and I visited The Greenhouse People based at Dobbies Garden Centre in Braehead and the service we received from Ian was first class. We didn't know much about the different variations, styles and costs of greenhouse, however, Ian talked us through all the options, and particularly those more suited to the space where we intend to erect the greenhouse. I can't speak highly enough of the service provided by Ian.

I ordered the Robinsons rugby greenhouse on the phone after reviewing the website ( no local show room in Northern Ireland). Ian MvLaren at Braeside was very helpful and communication from the greenhouse people was excellent. Delivery arrived on the agreed date. The delivery driver was very helpful, carefully arranging the packages. He was very careful with the glass.
The fitter suggested by the company was less helpful (poor communication and then failed to arrive).
I eventually decided to erect. the greenhouse myself. The low build wall took some time as the measurements have to be very accurate. The greenhouse itself was fairly straightforward to erect but it’s definitely a job for two people - especially when balancing sections on the low wall when connecting them. Delighted with the completed greenhouse.

Replaced a cheaper greenhouse from a different company with an 8' x 6' classic greenhouse. The new one is considerably sturdier and will hopefully withstand adverse weather conditions. The greenhouse did take some time to build and at times the instructions were confusing but it was worth the effort. In addition to the instructions in the packaging, there are also emailed instructions which we should have used much earlier in the build. The after sales from the company is excellent, responsive and very helpful, really impressed.

Very happy with the service provided by the team from purchase through to installation.
Delighted with the final product and would be more than happy to do business with all parties involved again in the future. Extended thanks to Pete who we placed the order with, and Ian and team for the installation.

I ordered the Simplicity Sandon 4x4 Greenhouse with the Ultimate Package extras. I visited the showroom in Notcutts garden centre in Staines and the salesman was very helpful, enjoyed a little bit of sales banter and offered his help if there were any issues. I recieved the parts of my greenhouse in one delivery and had no issues. I constructed the greenhouse a few weeks later, as my landscaping was slightly delayed - this is where i hit an issue where certain parts were wrong and missing. I contacted the customer support team, and they sent out replacements part by courier for 48 hour delivery (for free) which was excellent. As I built the greenhouse, unfortunately one of the tempered glass panes shattered - and they sent out a new one free of chargen due to the issues I'd had with parts missing earlier in the month. In summary, there were mistakes with the packing, however they made every effort with fixing mistakes, which is great to see. 5 stars!

I disliked how undersized the cedar slatting was on my greenhouse staging. Each piece had to be nailed into place very carefully each end and there was barely enough room, not even half a centimetre to manoeuvre. It took a long time even for an experienced DIY builder to put it together due to this. I wouldn’t recommend. When I looked at the reviews again there had been nothing reviewed for over a year which should’ve sent alarm bells They were not cheap either. I expected better.

Ordered greenhouse through their showroom at Dobbies Braehead. Excellent service thanks to Ian McLaren. Delivery went to schedule. Phoned their main branch about time for delivery and spoke to very helpful people. Fitters (Ian Cochrane and partner) arrived as scheduled and assembled what looked like a huge ikea flat pack in 3 hours! Looks fantastic. No damage, no mess and very professional job.
Couldn't fault this company from start to finish. Makes a change to actually get what you pay for 😊😊😊 Would highly recommend them

Our meeting with Sue Cheeseman at Notcutts near Staines was fabulous, she is a delight to speak with and very knowledgeable of the products available including a new supplier they have only just connected with. And she has been extremely helpful with us buying an ex-display shed and getting delivery arranged as well. Fantastic. A 5-star experience.

Ian at Braehead was really very helpful and knowledgeable about all his greenhouses. This was my second time buying a greenhouse from him ( first one was for my mum) and he went above and beyond to help me organise everything. I was very happy with his service.

I’d been considering getting a greenhouse for a while as a retirement present to myself, got great advice and made a great choice. Excellent pre-purchase service. Delivery was bang on time and installation was a dream! Ian Cochrane fixed up the slabs I already had and had the greenhouse up in a few hours. Highly recommend!

Fantastic service from Denham Installations. Euan arrived on time, he was friendly, a conscientious workman, took care with product and very tidy. Euan was well informed about my shed and gave some great advice about the installation,
Also the standard of workmanship was excellent, I would highly recommend Euan to anyone who buys a shed from Greenhouse People, he is their top installer in Scotland and whilst completing the installation, it is easy to see why.
if you need an Installer then Euan is your guy!

Great firm to deal with, a friendly and professional service who recommended Mr Euan Denham to fit our greenhouse, couldn't have asked for better, he covers most of Scotland and was on time, professional and friendly. He worked incredibly well and installed our Redoubtable greenhouse in great time. Absolutely love the greenhouse, customer service is second to none.

The choice at Dobbies Braehead was impressive, the greenhouse arrived exactly when we were told and our fitter Ian Cochrane did an excellent job locating and building it. Delighted with the greenhouse - thanks all!

I recently purchased a Shugborough greenhouse from The Greenhouse People in Ponteland, and the entire process, from the initial purchase to the final installation, was absolutely effortless, efficient, and smooth.
When buying the greenhouse, the team at the Ponteland branch was incredibly helpful. They didn't just try to sell me a product; they gave me excellent, practical advice to ensure I was getting the exact setup that would work best for my garden.
The installation process was just as seamless as the buying stage. I want to give a massive special mention to Dave Parkin, who came to install the greenhouse. Dave was punctual & polite, he arrived exactly when promised and was a pleasure to have working in the garden. It was immediately clear that he had extensive knowledge and experience in building these structures, working with absolute precision and efficiency delivering a high-quality greenhouse that looks fantastic and feels incredibly sturdy. If you are looking to buy a greenhouse, I cannot recommend the team at Ponteland and Dave Parkin highly enough. A stress-free experience from start to finish.

We met Sue Cheeseman at the Staines branch. She was extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. We weren’t rushed and everything was explained to the letter. Sue made it very easy for us to come to a decision. It was like dealing with a good friend. Thank you Sue

I’m so glad we decided to buy our Robinson Greenhouse from the Ponteland branch of “The Greenhouse People”. The Greenhouse is perfect and looks great in Sage Green, but what stood out was the customer service from Nathan (& Paul) to ensure we got exactly what we wanted.
Nathan is a true enthusiast in all things gardening and is utterly reliable and committed to giving the best customer service. Nothing is a problem, and he provided a seamless link to “Head Office”.
The Greenhouse was delivered spot on time and within one day of Nathan’s original estimate. Even the gentleman that delivered the greenhouse was a true professional, insisting he carried everything with care.
We had an issue with the company installing the Greenhouse (not the Greenhouse People), but even though it was out of their control, they helped resolve the issue and ensured we weren’t out of pocket.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this company, and if you want a Greenhouse, no matter where you are in the UK, go to the Ponteland Branch and ask for Nathan 😉

Bought a Nordic Madison garden room from dobbies garden centre in Atherstone .We dealt with David Hale and he was very helpful with no pressure to buy explained everything very well and has organised delivery and installation all quickly.lovely friendly man we came away very happy and cant wait for it to come now.would 100% recommend this company great quality products and a pleasure to meet you David big thank you from us both 😀

Having read the incredible reviews relating to Sue Cheeseman online, I was quickly persuaded to visit GP's Staines site to look at a potential greenhouse replacement after removing a 30 year old inherited one I'd never used.

Many reviews described Sue was super helpful, provided lots of tips, explained things clearly, provided all the relevant information to assist selection, didn't rush you, didn't do any hard sell and was genuinely a lovely person who went above and beyond to ensure you felt sure and comfortable about your (potential) purchase.
I had little knowledge of greenhouses, none of newer models, and hoped Sue would provide the perfect introduction. I had the pleasure of dealing with her recently and it was amazing to see how accurate the glowing reviews were.
She showed me models which suited my needs and didn't rush the process, gave me pros and cons between models and was incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful throughout despite knowing I was only at the consideration not purchase stage. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She recommended tradespeople, ensured there was no confusion anywhere, and generally added huge value, all without the slightest whiff of pressure or hard sell.

As a direct result of my interaction with her, I returned within days to make a purchase and again, she ensured I was 100% happy with my choices before proceeding.
She kindly also gave me a wonderful little Christmas tree and tomato plant from her collection whilst we chatted about gardening.

People like Sue are a retail rarity:
seriously impressive in her knowledge, professional and efficient in her approach and highly personable.
The Greenhouse People have a people-person with an engaging, successful bisiness style. They are so very lucky to have her!
