Disappointed with the Gateshead Store.
I like house but there seemed to be more heavy metal in the Gateshead store. With the two assistants following me around which I found intrusive. I turned to them and told them I get more of the music I like of ITunes which I pay monthly for. I was dissatisfied with my visit and will not go to HMV stores anymore.

The shop assistant was extremely helpful and efficient and the service was excellent.
The communication about our order and expected delivery via email was great and the delivery was earlier than stated.

No refund
Ordered two items in store 3 weeks ago which were meant to be next day delivery. Neither item was delivered. I then got an email to say they were delayed and then that they no longer in stock. I went in store and they could not refund me. Still waiting for a refund now.

Easy to pre order goods and free pick up from local shop. I only gave 4 stars as my cd was later than expected

Looking for a particular dvd couldn't find it staff searched shop and system until they found it. Very friendly and helpful really good service from all. Never ever had any problems in this store
