Deeply flawed Philips product
This product is unfortunately deeply flawed and feels like it was released unfinished. Apps fail to open, or crash instantly, video doesn’t stream despite the internet speed being confirmed to be fine. Sometimes without warning, it actually does work, but no one can pinpoint why.
After months of speaking with customer support and raising tickets and sharing videos of the issues I’m still left waiting for a magic “firmware update” that will address all the problems that have made this until now a very inconsistent performer and most often useless. It’s been frustrating that there has been no solution offered other than “wait a few more weeks me we think until you can use what we sold you”
I really am hopeful for a fix soon. It’s been a poor purchase.

All the customs forms should have been done at the time of shipping. Put the product in a plain brown wrapper next time. Endless problems with all the laser references on the outside of the box had the FDA in a tizzy

This company does nothing to protect…
This company does nothing to protect backers from being scammed. Even when the company has clearly broken their own terms of service they allow them to continue victimizing new backers. I’ve sent them ample evidence that a project on their platform was being dishonest and they just keep telling everyone “we’re investigating that issues” but never do anything and allow them to keep doing business taking peoples money. Go to another platform instead, this company doesn’t care if you are being scammed whatsoever!

En 2019 j'ai commandé 80 euros un casque de 'Park & Diamond (order #13112). Jamais rien reçu, que des excuses bidon du vendeur, et rien de Indiegogo. Park & Diamond a levé 2.8 M€ sur Indiegogo, qui ne s'est pas fendu d'une excuse!

I believe IndieGoGo are just platform for fraud
I believe IndieGoGo are just a multiplier for fraud.. they take no responsibility, but cream off a percentage. Having been screwed out of $10k, I will never use this site again, and I really, really urge people to steer clear of it and it's hundreds on BS campaigns. I've had three that delivered nothing. Bottom line - companies that have genuine, novel products will appear with them in their hand, able to be order and delivered... Not "jam tomorrow"...

Hab vor 2 Monaten ein Produkt von Ayaneo unterstützt mit doch immerhin 250 €, bis heute keinerlei Progress oder mal einer Benachrichtigung. Gebt euer Geld lieber für seriöse Anbieter aka Kick Starter aus.

It is legal to charge shipping and not at least refund the shipping portion?
I understand not all products come to fruition, but a campaign charged shipping and won't even refund that. Indiegogo would not help. Indiegogo needs to be better about protecting its users from scammers. I will not use this platform ever again.

This company is terrible
This company is terrible, they take zero responsibility after their campaigns literally steel millions of dollars from thousands of people. I will NEVER contribute to anything on their site ever again. A campaign I contributed to in 10/2019 has never sent my item, or even responded. Indiegogo says they take zero responsibility and I'm out $200.

In comparition to Kickstarter has Indiegogo very bad customer support experience. I crowdfunded Ring One. They don't check backround of the companies, they don't care about scammy behavior, they don't care about lies and misscommunication of the company, they don't care about many complains of the backers. They care only for the money. Nothing else. It's my last project I crowdfunded at Indiegogo.

Chaibot Betrug und keine Hilfe Seitens Indiegogo
Ich habe am 05.02.2023 ein Projekt unterstützt, den ChaiBot: The All-In-One Smart Tea Machine.
Ich habe dafür 269$ Bezahlt, enthalten sollte gewesen sein folgendes:
1 x 1x ChaiBot + 6 Tea Packs
1 x Extra Strainer
1 x ChaiBot Tea Cup Pair.
Die eigentliche voraussichtliche Lieferung sollte eigentlich im Mai 2023 erfolgen.
Ich habe mehrmals versucht das Unternehmen Brewconcepts zu kontaktieren, aber das funktioniert ja nicht da alle Mail-Adressen usw. Gelöscht sind bzw. vielleicht nie existiert haben.
Leider Antwortet man auch nicht in den Kommentaren, das gleiche Problem existiert übrigens auch bei Kickstarter.
Daraufhin habe ich am 11. August 2024 den Support von Indiegogo kontaktiert, damit Sie allen Leuten, die in das Projekt investiert haben, Helfen ihr Geld wiederzubekommen, da es sich ja Offensichtlich um Betrug des Inhabers des Unternehmens handelt und somit eigentlich jedem sein Geld zusteht und Indiegogo die Leute unterstützen müsste, da keine Versprechen usw. Eingehalten wurden.
Daraufhin habe ich nur folgende Nachricht bekommen:
"Thanks for your reply. While Indiegogo is not able to mediate the discussion about your refund request, to help facilitate communication between you and the campaigner, we have previously provided you with the campaigner's contact information. You can also contact the campaign owner directly by either posting a comment on their campaign page, or by sending a direct message to the campaigner.

Too bad that giving one star is the minimum.
I would like to give less than one star to Indiegogo.
After backing a smart ring (ring one) Indiegogo leaves the backers without trust or product.
The people trying to get the product on the market are straight-out lying with promises and non-communication. Even after more than a year of lies no action is taken by Indiegogo.

Site qui ne vérifie pas ses vendeurs
Ce site, malgré sa réputation mondiale, est une GRANDE ARNAQUE!
Sachez que tout achat d'un produit sur leur site ne contient rigoureusement AUCUNE VÉRIFICATION DU VENDEUR!!!
Je viens de me faire plumer de 460€ sur l'achat d'un aspirateur de piscine qui faisait rêver dans sa description.
Après 3 mois d'attente de livraison, je découvre que le vendeur ne répond pas et quand je me retourne vers Indiegogo, ils ont le culot de me dire qu'ils n'y peuvent rien!!!!
Donc ils mettent en avant des produits qui n'existent pas et vitre argent tombe dans un puits sans garantie d'être livré !!!

Volterman scam…
In februari 2018 meegedaan aan een campagne van Volterman voor een smart bifold. U snapt het al. € 157,- weggegooid want nooit iets ontvangen. Ze houden je een tijd lang aan het lijntje met mooie praatjes en dan is het over. Zo kan je dus ook miljonair worden.
