Excellent - I'd not heard of Jaques previously only came across it through Amazon and went onto their own website. Its a veritable delight! So much to choose from and all arranged in age categories which makes it easier when looking for gifts for grandchild. I also think that considering you are getting quality wooden toys which will last and last and give great delight rather than the plastic stuff its reasonably good value for money too. Will be back in the build up to Christmas!

Never buy from Amazon again!
Really lovely products, beautifully packaged, reasonably priced, promptly delivered and, crucially, safe.
I fell into the trap of buying toys from Amazon when my children were smaller and quickly learned that the Bad Old Days of unsafe toys were back - 3 out of 3 items from Amazon contained items that were potentially fatal (chokable size pieces coming loose).
Now I only choose reputable companies and am delighted to have found Jacques, I'll be returning!

Gold standard quality of both toys and service.
We bought two sets of Junior Boules, but Evri lost them after receiving but before delivering them. Jaques immediately replaced them, without question. The grandchildren in both families are delighted and really love them - and so are we with the quality of both the Boules and the service.

Poor quality not good enough
Having wasted (admittedly only £11 with delivery charge) on a dinosaur torch my daughter was excited about only to receive it and find the images when projected onto the ceiling/wall are so blurry that you have no chance of making out what you are looking at (tried in all types of light and dark conditions and a range of distances). Regardless of how cheap the product was i’m
left to wonder why companies think it is ok
to sell customers such useless rubbish. This pointless product has gone straight in the bin. It isn’t even worth my time to bother sending it back, I shall just refrain from ever purchasing from this company again. * update 04.06 customer services were quick and proactive in reaching out. In this case the suggested solution did not work and it appears the product was defective. However, credit to the company for reaching out quickly (review upgraded to 2 stars on this basis).

Thank you for your review. I’m very sorry to hear that your daughter was disappointed with the dinosaur torch. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when she was excited to receive it.
The torch does have an adjustable focus dial on the top, which can be turned to sharpen the projected images depending on the distance from the wall or ceiling. This may have helped resolve the blurriness you experienced.
At the time of your review, we had not received any contact from you regarding this issue. Had our customer service team been made aware, we would of course have been happy to advise further and, if the issue could not be resolved, arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
We always want our customers to be happy with their purchases, and if something is not right, we are here to help. We’re sorry again for the disappointment caused.

Illegal false advertising
They claim they’ve taken down their ai adverts but every day I see at least two new ones. It’s totally illegal what they’re doing. They’re claiming they have real toys made by real people and also reviewed by real people, but they’re making fake ai adverts made to look as if a person is saying it when it’s total nonsense. They keep making adverts with toys that don’t look anything like their products on the site. They’re listing fake prices (the site is always more). They’re even claiming they’re selling real fossils in a kit that then shows a plastic assembly toy!
Their ai tool can’t even tell what’s a fishing rod in the frog catch game and morphed it into a handle that makes no sense.
No human is reviewing their content. They’re cutting corners and look so unprofessional and untrustworthy. They ignore any feedback and questions on this.
I think they can’t get rid of ai now they’ve introduced it. I think it’s taken over their media. Wrecking their own reputation just to be lazy

Liked the look of Noah's Ark but noted…
Liked the look of Noah's Ark but noted some reviews flagged a possible choking hazard. Also instructions for delivery did not include home delivery but instead delivered to our local PO which is a little chaotic and unnecessary.
Reached out to JaquesLondon but when I received a reply, it didn't answer the questions I had asked. I suspect AI answered. Went to jojo Maman in person instead for a similar gift.

I selected a pickup option for the delivery, I was surprised that this incurred a charge, not always required by other retailers.

Awful after service
Quality of the product was good, not all of the product was in the battered box, when I told the company, they wouldn't take it back, and just offered me 20% off, very poor after service, I'm sure what I got ( the Boules Set) was a return, they hadn't checked it, and just sent the smashed box on. Also they use Evri, the worst delivery service ever, this was a expensive item, I'm very disappointed.

Having reviewed this further, we understand that the damage was to the delivery box and that the Boules Set itself was not damaged. We also understand that there was concern that the set did not include individual bags for each boule. These are not included with this particular product, so we were unable to provide them for you.
After reviewing your communications with our customer service team, I can see that you were offered the option to return the item for a full refund. However, you chose to keep the item and accept a 20% refund instead.
Regarding delivery, we do offer a choice of couriers at checkout, as we understand that customer experiences can vary depending on local areas and preferred services.
We are sorry again that you were disappointed with the overall experience, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
