When the previous tenant moved out, JT's team - Darren, Mollie, Yvonne and Eleanor handled everything for us brilliantly. From administering the move-out, marketing and viewings; sorting out prospective tenants and then getting the move-in done, they worked as a team and did the job seamlessly. We can't thank them enough.
Also need to thank JT's maintenance team led by Stacie. They are fantastic at what they do and always very helpful and responsive.

Fantastic support for landlords
I had a tenant who, after leaving, left me with an unpaid energy bill of over £3000 which the energy provider tried to charge me for.
Julie Twist provided enormous assistance by negotiating with the energy provider (for hours) and using her assertiveness to get things moving, resulting in a considerable reduction in the bill I was presented with.

I had a great experience yesterday when I have visited the branch in Manchester. First, I had a viewing in the area regarding a flat after which I went to the branch where I’ve received a lot of assistance and guidance with my application and information about the applying and the renting process. Make renters bid and lure people with low priced ads
Rental market is absurd and Julietwist doesn’t make it any easier. They only represent sellers and not renters. They deliberately put ads with low rental price which leads to high interest. That is basic supply and demand. Make you wait for a week and arrange multiple viewings on the same day and even worse group viewings. And it is to be noted that they do not disclose this while putting the ad. If you like the flat, then you enter hunger games. A form is shared wherein you fill in the details and the MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICE TO BE OFFERED. Which is nothing but bidding.
My issue is if you wish to do this, put it on the advert rather than wasting peoples time and energy.
My experience, we were 15 people in a single group viewing and there were 4 such viewings one after the other. Imagine the crowd in a 2 bed 600 sq ft house. And then they have the audacity to push us in a fight mode with one another.
Stop this crap or at least stop lowering prices to use as a bait.

I am regretful to see this review, as I know you had an offer accepted on one of the properties you viewed with us which you didnt progress with due to a change in your move in date circumstances.
When we advertise properties we don't put ads with low rental price to lead to high interest.
Our process is to research what the market value is through looking at recent trends & using data bases to obtain this information.
We then to present this to landlord who then agrees / disagrees what has been proposed.
When the landlord agrees the rental value the proeprty will then go to market advertised at the value agreed.
You state that you were made to wait a week to view the two properties at Salford Quays development you were interested in.
Regarding the first property, this was advertised on the 29th March, you contacted us on the 29th March to arrange a viewing which was booked in for April 2nd which was under a week. The same happened with the 2nd property at City Lofts you were interested in. It was advertised on the 31st March, you contacted us on the 31st March & we booked you in to view again on the 2nd April.
Our diary is managed to be as productive as possible & to minimise the impact on current tenants with time taken to show apartments we book in small groups of upto 4 applicants at a time. You were verbally told that these were small group viewings over the phone when you booked the two viewings with one of the members of our team so you were made aware.
We manage our viewings in windows and only book up to 15 applicants per property. We don’t do more than this as we want to give people looking for a property the best chance at securing a new home.
If you like an apartment after viewing you then are asked to complete an offer questionnaire which provides the landlord with a standardised process to review any offer that is presented to them in order to make the right decision.
The first question states ‘Offer Price’ which gives you the chance to state what rent you would like to offer, it doesn’t state ‘Maximum Rental Price To Be Offered’.
The offers then are presented to the landlord on one spreadsheet – these are all final offers. We don’t ask applicants to increase their offers at any point before submitting the offers or after these offers are submitted.
Following your two viewings, you emailed a member of the lettings team asking for the offer questionnaire which was emailed to you on the 3rd April. You offered on both apartments on the 3rd April.
The 2nd property was your preferred apartment but unfortunately the landlord accepted an alternative offer on this, and we updated you applicant regarding this outcome on 3rd April at 15:21.
You emailed the same person in the lettings team to tell them that your maximum offer on the first property would be £1300pcm, which was £50 above the advertised price. We did not ask you to increase this, this is what you wanted to offer.
It was great that you managed to achieve a successful offer accepted on the first property you viewed on April 4th. You were aware that the available move in date was May 11th, however it was unfortunate that you contacted us later that day to say that you could not progress as you would need a much later move in date as you still needed to serve notice to your current landlord & if we had other offers to then go ahead with those. We acknowledged your update on April 5th & we stated that we will continue to help you with your search for a property, which we would stil llike to do.
Hope this helps you to understand the process a bit better & that we pride ourselves on the service we offer not only to landlords but also to the many people who we help with their property search. Nothing gives us greater satisfaction than helping an applicant secure a new home.

What a scam company!!!
At the end of the tenancy, we were told by Kelly Davenport that one off cost of GBP 126 (GBP 140 with 10% off discount) to clean the whole house including flooring and carpet, but excluding the electric appliances. After cleaning, they charged us GBP 288 and said that we've misinterpreted her meaning.
In fact, there is absolutely no misinterpretation. We asked directly about what's included in the GBP140 package and she answered directly that everything is included except the electric appliance.

There were a number of emails back and forth concerning the end of tenancy clean and the cleaning that you asked to be carried out.
You had received a copy of the cleaning charges with your confirmed vacating letter.
As part of the clean you requested for the carpets to be professionally cleaned. The cleaning charges clearly shows that a professional carpet clean is an additional cost. However, we understand that from the wording of an email exchange noted that a reference was made that the general clean would include flooring and carpets although did not specifically state that this meant vacuuming, mopping etc. Due to this a dispute has been raised with TDS for an arbitrator to review the file and make a final decision on their view of the wording.
