Terrible customer service
Order is severely delayed and they are not responding to emails. I tried to contact them on their chat service through their website but when an operative connects they also do not respond and eventually stop the session. I have no idea where my order is and no way of chasing it.

Ordered a custom engraved ARC for my husband for Christmas. I figured it would come after Christmas since their website stated custom orders take longer to process. Ordered Dec. 12 and it came today Dec. 19. I'm very happy with the engraving and speedy delivery!

I ordered 4 identical items from leatherman.com and was sent 1, with the packing slip showing 4 items were shipped.
Contacted customer service who could only send a message to have the items replaced in "weeks", or provide a shipping label for a refund. Shipping label never came.

Die Polizei hat unser Leatherman beschlagnahmt, es wird als Waffe gesehen, schauen wir mal was für eine Strafe wir bekommen. Das traurige ist das Leatherman beim Kauf niemanden darauf hinweist. Nach dem das passiert ist haben wir von Leatherman diese Antwort erhalten.

Na 23 jaar nog steeds garantie
Na 23 jaar super dienst geleverd te hebben, had de vijl van mijn Leatherman Crunch de geest gegeven (afgebroken). Heel eenvoudig online een garantieverzoek ingediend en aangetekend naar Duitsland verstuurd (kost wel wat, maar dat is dan ook het minste).
Nu een maandje later gerapereerd en gesmeerd teruggekregen. Dat is pas service!!
Ga zeker es kijken voor een nieuwe aankoop.

Das 25 jährige Garantieversprechen wurde voll und ganz (über)erfüllt. Mit wenigen einfachen Angaben habe ich die Reparatur für meinen Leatherman angemeldet.
Danach das Produkt eingeschickt, eine sehr schnelle Antwort über den Eingang erhalten sowie über den Bearbeitungsablauf. Wieder sehr schnell habe ich die Nachricht über das Ende der Garantiearbeit bekommen und über den Versand. Heute habe ich das Austauschprodukt erhalten und bin äußerst zufrieden über den gesamten Prozess dazu.
Top Produkt, Top Garantie
Ich hatte sehr lange ein Leatherman Core im täglichen, beruflichen Arbeitseinsatz, bis nach sieben Jahren eine Klammer der Arretierung in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand gegangen ist. Ich habe es eingeschickt; da eine vernünftige Reparatur nicht Lohnenswert war, hat mir Leatherman ein nagelneues(!) Supertool 300 geschickt. Mit meinem Einverständnis, Kostenlos auf Garantie. Einfach so, ohne Rückfragen. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, das zu nutzen, wenn man Probleme mit dem Ding hat. Deswegen schon fünf Sterne, für die Qualität des Werkzeuges ebenfalls. Ich war von Anfang bis Ende mit dem Core mehr als zufrieden. Die Werkzeuge selbst haben mir in der Mechatronik sehr gute Dienste geleistet. Da habe ich mir nicht nur einige male Kofferschleppen gespart, sondern auch auf der Leiter leichter getan. Ansonsten muss man natürlich selbst auch mal klar reflektieren, ob man für den vorgesehenen Einsatz das richtige Werkzeug parat hat. Es ist ein Multitool, kein Spezialwerkzeug; es kann vieles gut, für manches ist es einfach nicht gedacht. Ein Multitool mit Spezialwerkzeugen zu vergleichen ist absoluter Quatsch. Ich kann es jedem als das empfehlen, was es ist, plus das an Kundenservice mehr, als ich erwartet hätte.

Eher schlecht als recht
Ich hatte eine Zeit lang die Raptor Schere im Rettungsdienst verwendet und bin recht unzufrieden. Im Vergleich zu meinen Victorinox-Produkten ist die Verarbeitung eher mangelhaft. Alles klappert, überall Spaltmaße und Luft zum Wackeln. Wirkt somit sehr billig gemacht. Außerdem setzt diese Schere nach der Desinfektion massiv Flugrost an, was bei einem Produkt für das Rettungswesen mehr als schlecht ist.

Leatherman's Bit Driver Extender has been faulty for a number of years but they continue to sell it (Google: "reddit bit driver extender stuck"). I ordered one without knowing this, along with a Bit Kit and a Wave+. A bit got permanently stuck inside the extender the first time that I used it. I approached the Leatherman customer service and they would not replace or exchange any products as I am not in the USA, but gave a partial refund. I was not happy with this resolution, but any subsequent emails have been ignored for the past 5 weeks. Do not buy outside of the USA - you're taking the risk that you can't have any faulty products replaced.

Purchased a customised multi-tool as an anniversary present for my wife. It was slightly galling having to pay nearly half the cost of the item as a shipping charge but I had no choice.
Unfortunately the wrong product arrived, customised for someone else. (Sorry Palmer Hirtle, whoever you are !).
I'm in the UK so I contacted the email address on the order form, which was for Leatherman Europe. I got an automated response saying they were busy and would answer when they could but please don't bother them. No service ticket, no indication of timing or urgency.
After several emails and phone calls in subsequent days trying to get through I was eventually told that's the wrong information and I need to deal with the US customer service. Why is it on the email then?
Then it got worse. Having promised to deal with it and replace it “as soon as possible” with a discount, I returned the mis-shipped item and waited for a replacement.
Eventually I followed up to be told I had misunderstood and I was supposed to return it, get a refund, place an entirely new order at full cost and then tell them.
In the meantime I had found the person who received the tool I ordered and it turned out he had mine and was also returning it. Why Leatherman couldn’t simply send out the correct tools once they were returned is even more of a mystery.
I’ve actually given up. I would rather pay full price for a Gerber than get a 30% discount at a company with such terrible service.
I've got the Leatherman watch
I've got the Leatherman watch. It's a great watch. The only issue I've experienced is that the watch snaps open, when I start to run or do fast sudden movements with my hand.

Why on earth do i have to give one star? My sons Leatherman multi tool broke and he sent it back to Leatherman in Germany. Now even Ben Rivera (Ben.Rivera@leathermancom) refuses to send the replacement and says that Kevin Hamil (kevin.hamil@leathermancom) who had the item (and now lost it) yet sent an email saying he hopes my son dies (My son is in the British Army) Is this how a multi million dollar company works? Lower form of scum... My son will NEVER buy Leatherman again....

Bought a new Leatherman wave in…
Bought a new Leatherman wave in Feb.1st2023. It broke July 17th2023. Part of the pliers jaws snapped off completely.

Rude customer service.
Placed an order for accessories (which are not sold in stores and do NOT have a warranty) and received an email explaining my order would be cancelled if I did not personally call and talk to them. Contacted through online chat and explained that I am hearing impaired and couldn't call.
Response was "normal people don't place orders like this" and "what does being deaf have to do with anything?"
AUDISM =discrimination, prejudice, or a general lack of willingness to accommodate those who cannot hear.
Honestly, why have online ordering and then require orders to still be placed by voice telephone? Was informed this is policy now if you order more than 3 items from their website. Rationing of screwdriver bits?
