I feel like the bike is like the horse from board game 'Buckaroo' and that at any minute it will just explode into all of its component parts, also much like the end of the Blue Brothers' car. So much has fallen off of it or broken so far. Poor quality parts put together by drunk monkeys is what it feels like.

Edited to answer the below response, if I took the bike in every time something fell off of it, it would have spent more time in the shop waiting to be repaired than being ridden by me, just so you know, since making the above review, another piece has fallen off. I note also that Lexmoto have actually discontinued this model.

I purchased a brand new Lexmoto Michigan, the dealer I purchased it from: MIS Newark have been absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable and very helpful.

The Lexmoto Michigan is very well built, I have only experienced 2 faults:
A screw came loose on the indicator switch.
When riding the bike in winter in heavy rain some watery mud splashed up and got into the throttle position sensor.

Both faults were fixed by the dealer.

Since then the bike has been running like a dream, no problems at all.

I have been running it on Shell V-Power E5 unleaded petrol. Makes the bike go really well, I would never put any other petrol in my motorbike.

The bike is very good at low speed, but after you reach 50mph, it takes a bit of time to get up to 60 - 65mph.

The Lexmoto Michigan is not designed to go high speeds, it is designed to ride around in comfort and style. ​

As long as you run the bike in properly and do all the essential maintenance like oil the chain, check the chain tension, wash your bike, check the oil, and service it at the correct intervals the bike should not give you any problems.

I am very happy and very satisfied with the Lexmoto Michigan I purchased brand new. Highly recommended.

Just purchased a Lexmoto LXR 380. Waited 3 months for it, worth the wait. Had to drive it back from the dealer in the rain, handled well. Looks great in red. Used a little more fuel than expected but hopefully that's just me getting used to its driving style and me using gears more effectively as still in its drive in stage. Definitely recommend. Friend is looking a buying one too. Lexmoto- would be great if you look at bringing out a 500-600cc sport bike as I would love to eventually upgrade within Lexmoto??.

Absolute Shambles of a Company!!!!!! DO NOT BUY A LEXMOTO!!!!!!

I own a Lexmoto Milano moped which I use to travel to my job at the Hospital which as you can imagine is very busy and stressful at the moment.

I received a Recall Stop Drive notice on the 4th November stating that I cannot use my only source of transport to get to and from my job, I checked this with my insurance company who said that i wouldn’t be covered until issue is rectified. Thinking that this would be sorted quickly I was not at first concerned as these things happen. I called the garage where I brought my brand new moped from, they were completely in the dark as to when it would be resolved but said they would keep in touch.

Despite numerous calls over the next 7 weeks to the garage or Lexmoto I either was given no further information or vague promises.

On the 22nd December, yes it took this long to get a letter from Lexmoto to say that the new parts have now been tested and to contact my local dealer to arrange for the moped to be collected. I quickly called them to find out when that can happen, but they had no idea that the letter had gone out and they did not have the parts. Obviously fuming I called Lexmoto who said that the are trying to get all their dealers upto speed. In other words fobbed off yet again.

I was informed just after Xmas that I was third on the list by my garage and should be contacted shortly for collection.

Today I contacted them to chase yet again, this was proably my 60th call as I am the one to do all the chasing as nobody contacts me, to now be told that the parts are being sent out in registration order and there is no ETA on mine.

All this time I am having to beg for lifts off people or use the bus when I can due to shiftwork which is highly stressful and takes a lot more time out of my day instead of being able to ride the 15 minutes journey on my moped that I used to love, but Lexmoto have destroyed this now and I find that I just glare and hate my Moped every time I walk past it, due to the stress and money this has cost me as I still have to tax and insure it whilst paying to use the bus, let alone all the time and money phoning up to try and get an answer which after over 2 months I do not have.

A truely disgusting company with appalling customer service.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER!!!!!!!!

I have received a letter about a recall on my scooter. I've emailed a dealership and also emailed llexeter who have not replied to my emails. I am expected to give up my only form of transport to work whilst they sort out this problem. No offer of a scooter for my inconvenience whilst mine is being sorted. Also no explanation on what is wrong with my scooter and why it can't be used

My dad has a Milano currently off the road due to stop drive. The main issue is lack of communication around next steps and when or how the issue will be resolved. The bike was purchased new from a dealer who had no idea it was not informed about the issue until my dad showed him the letter. Terrible handling of situation. Lexmoto wha is the issue, the brakes? The exhaust? What’s the prognosis? I’m seeing different issues being spoke about?

Purchased lexmoto venom clocks and about 3 weeks into install they cracked and now damp gets in n messes with display just curious to see is their any way you can fit lexmoto riot clocks on a venom with adjustments, so have digital clocks instead?

This review is one for u to ponder over bought new Milan petrol scooter for its vespa looks and nice chrome work not to ride just put in my coĺlection with my other bikes has I am to old to ride from write ups I have read I knew this brand was unreliable well guess what I have received recall notice04-11-2021 not Evan a year old do not ride ha ha can't beat Japanese

My son purchased a brand new LXR 125 for £2909. He is a Policeman and needs it to ride to work. He has had the bike less than 4 months and it has broken down 4 times and been off the road longer than it has been on. Each time he has been late for work and then had to use public transport. I don't know if this is a rogue bike or normal problems. I am now writing to Lexmoto UK about all the problems as the motorcycle is not fit for purpose

Lexmoto have been great with support from the get go and some quality issues that should have been sorted by the pdi at the dealers were quickly resolved and parts supplied.

Milano 125 purchased in May 1st service all good then DO NOT USE letter November 4th and now hearing whispers that it may be April 2022 before mine is repaired. Think I need to look at sale of goods act, what can I do for 6 months ? a few years ago I had a VW van on a recall and it was sorted within 2 weeks
So I will be looking for a full refund plus the lost road fund licence and loss of insurance premiums

Lexmoto Vendetta 250cc V twin is an excellent bike, the quality is good and better than I had expected, it looks and sounds great, handles well and has good performance, I have improved the mudguards as I ride it in all weathers but otherwise its needed no other adjustments, most fixings are stainless including the exhaust which at this price I was not expecting
I couldnt find a 250cc bike I preferred at any price, its great now I really hope Lexmoto in the future continue to support this bike with parts

Lexmoto Cypher 2021 model:

Battery is limited to run bike to 30 miles in single charge, is there a plan to introduce new battery that can give more mileage? everything else in Cypher is superb

I am writing with reference to the recent recall of the Lexmoto Milano. I have been informed that there is no courtesy bikes in place. Due to still being less than a year old the least I would expect would be to have a courtesy bike until this manufacturing problem has been rectified. My preferred option would be to get a refund to enable the purchase of another motorcycle brand with a better customer/ warranty policy in place.

I posted a comment about lexmoto dealer, here is a update, I spoke with a gentleman at my dealer where I brought my 50cc cyber motorbike, he gave my a different dealer to contact,as I did, he wanted £100 to recover my bike and return it, I can't see why I have to pay any money for that sevice as it's only 14 weeks old and under warranty. So I rephoned my dealer, and now they want me to send back the 1 battery and 1 charger. I'm going to send them back both battery s and both chargers ,let's see how long I will have to wait for them to be returned, will it be this year?????

Brought an brand new aura 125cc from a South London dealer and After 2 months it cuts out and doesn't idle properly. And some mornings it doesn't even want to start. Also the fuel filler cap doesn't open with the button pressed so I have to open it myself with my nails. Even the company I have taken the scooter to which specialises in fixing and servicing chinese scooters don't have a clue and had to contact yourselfs for an idea.

Never had something which Is brand new let me down so quickly after 2500 miles

Here we are in October and the parts for the enigma have slowly started to arrive, we can now hopefully get the bike back on the road. We are clearly still disappointed in the availability of parts and issues we have had since purchasing the bike however lexmoto particularly Ben has done all he can to assist us in sourcing the parts needed and has been very responsive to all emails.
I cannot fault the customer service.

So I got a 2016 Vienna 125 off a guy who couldn't keep it running reliably, even after a visit to Lexmoto, sometimes it would start, sometimes it wouldn't. Well I'm and old fart so I work differently.

Engine needs fuel, air and a spark, if thyere's compression it will run. Well it had compression, fuel but only sparked when it felt like it which I eventually traced to a dry joint on the connector to the CDi unit that was "intermittent" at best, got a new plug, re soldered it and then had to park it up because I got cancer and couldn't do much for a while.

Back to a month ago. I put a battery on it, fresh petrol, a new drive belt (old one had 5500 miles on it and I have no idea how long they run for) and it fired up after the fresh fuel got to the carb.

Since then it's had new rings, £8.55 I think they cost? Engine was a bit smokey, had to pull the barrel off because it all pointed to a broken ring, it wasn't broken, just stuck.
Then a new set of rollers (the old ones were an interesting kind of round with flats on shape) and it will sit at 52mph indicated with me on it up slight hills, maybe get to 54mph down hill (so there's obviously some kind of speed limiter of some sort on it) and it just does the job, no worries about reliability, ok the plastics are a bit fragile, the exhaust rotted off (£25 for a cheapo thing off 'bay).

It's great as long as you only want to do an indicated 52mph because that's all it's got.
But it restricts it's use to byeways, A and B roads because on a motorwy it would just be a mobile chicane, even milk floats would pass you down a decent hill.

If I could figure out why I can't persuade it to do 60mph, then I'd be using it for my commute but some of my journey is dual carraigeway and it's too risky.

As for "buy a Japanese bike" I think a few people might be surprised just where the smaller Hondayamsuzukawas are actually sourced from these days. The clue is in the engine number...
For what you pay, you get a lot of scooter IMHO. Simple enough that you don't need special tools, the rot these days is no worse than most manufacturers (except maybe the exhaust downpipes) and I'd have another one of these little runabouts without worrying about quality problems.
You get what you pay for is true, but I'd suggest you get what you expect is a more credible view.

I've had the lexmoto aura 125 for exactly a year and i can only say how much i love it!!!!
The only issue i had was that the starter plug came lose and it kept cutting the scooter out. However the local lexmoto dealer sorted it out within minutes.....
Best advice is to keep up with servicing yes it cost but it helps to maintain your little beast!
