I ordered 8 glasses, ended up receiving 2 glasses. Submitted an aftersales support request, they have been radio silent for a whole week. I tried calling their landline, no one picks up. Makes me wonder if it's because they have a poor operations team or if this seller is a scam.

This is my second order with Made in Design, the first time I had to return the product (as it did not fit my needs) and the return process was fast and easy, this time I kept the order, and I am very happy with both my new lamp and the overall experience.

The after sales service is a disaster. We ordered a lamp from Sarah Lavoine on the swiss website and when we opened the pack, we observed that one piece was broken. We made a after service request and after more than 10 days, still no answer on how to have the lampe replaced. How complicated can it be!
Every time I call, I get the same message, to be patient as they have delays in the answer! Really disappointing customer experience for a company that sells designer pieces!
Update: I have received your email and replied to you on Thursday. As mentioned in the email, due to the long delay of 11 weeks for replacement, we would rather opt for the reimbursement. Thanks in advance for replying to my email. Best regards

I ordered a lamp from this company which has a glass shade. When I received the lamp the shade was broken so I contacted them and they agreed to send me a replacement shade. That was seven weeks ago. I'm yet to receive the replacement part and I've had no communication from them. I sent three emails about this matter to their customer support - they didn't have the courtesy to reply

Unfortunately I have not received the Item. That was not your fault and your contact when I called the service hotline was very kind and capable.
The problem was the Serviceprovider Chronopost who (1) was not able to deliver although it would have been easy and without any problem and (2) put the Item in a locker and granted only 3 days access. After that short period he returned the Item at my expense.
This is completely unacceptable. I would highly recommend to consider changing the delivery partner.

Thank you for reaching out to request feedback regarding my recent order.
Unfortunately, I must say that my experience was **very disappointing** from start to finish.
First, the **significant delay in shipping**, despite the clearly stated dispatch timeframe at the time of purchase, caused a chain reaction of issues. As a direct result of this delay, I was forced to arrange alternative logistics and incur **additional shipping and handling costs** that could have been entirely avoided.
Second, my attempts to seek assistance from your customer service were extremely frustrating.
Responses were **slow, inconsistent, and ultimately unhelpful**. In some cases, my messages were answered very late, and in others, not answered at all. Instead of receiving support or practical solutions, I was left to resolve the situation on my own.
Overall, this experience fell well below the standard I would expect from a company operating in the design and premium retail space. The product itself may be of good quality, but the **service and communication seriously undermined the entire purchase experience**.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve both delivery reliability and customer support going forward.

My item never arrived. DPD failed to deliver my parcel to the designated drop-off point and instead returned it to Made in Design. I provided Made in Design with all the documentation I received from DPD and requested a refund.
After several exchanges, Made in Design refunded the cost of the item but refused to reimburse the postage. The failure to deliver was entirely outside of my control. DPD was appointed by Made in Design, so any issue should have been resolved between them directly. Instead, I was penalised for their courier’s error.
I emailed and called Made in Design regarding this matter and was told it would be investigated and that I would be contacted. I never received any follow-up. This poor level of customer service has unfortunately left me unwilling to order from them again.

I’m giving this coffee table two stars, purely due to the delivery experience. The extra star is entirely thanks to Lucas in customer services, who was consistently helpful, responsive, and professional throughout.
I originally ordered the table in October. Despite tracking the shipment, it became stuck in customs in Paris, failed the customs check, and was automatically returned to the warehouse with a refund issued—despite me wanting to proceed with the order. With Lucas’s help, I reordered (including a £50 goodwill discount, which was appreciated), and the table was sent via a different delivery company.
While the second shipment eventually made it into the country, it again spent an excessive amount of time in customs. After clearance, I received no delivery updates for weeks and only made progress after repeatedly chasing via Lucas, who had to contact the courier on my behalf more than once. When they finally got in touch, the communication was poor and delivery was stated as “kerbside only,” despite ultimately bringing it to my door.
The product itself is lovely, but the end-to-end delivery process was unnecessarily frustrating and drawn out. Without Lucas’s excellent support, this would have been a one-star experience.

Après un formulaire de contact, 2 appels et 1 mail, le service client m’indique que c’est à moi de gérer un colis perdu, AUCUNE AIDE. finalement aucun service client.

- je n’ai JAMAIS reçu de réponse par mail de votre part
- c’est moi qui ai fait une réclamation auprès du transporteur, vous n’avez absolument rien fait. Je l’ai ai appelé plusieurs fois et ils ont fini par retrouver le colis
Vos retours sont toujours ultra polissés par écrit mais ça ne transcris pas du tout la réalité. Et vos collègues qui rependent au numéro service client… un vrai poème. Ou une leçon d’absence d’engagement envers de client.

Bought items well in advance of christmas (Dec 10th 2025) and it's now Jan 23rd 26'. No response to emails, no confirmation of shipping, literally nothing. More than happy to take your money, but no sign of the products, or any comms from their team.

You guys are wonderful and the customer service phenomenal. You are a preferred go to! The problem I am facing is the local carrier (DBSchenker), the past 3 experiences have been very challenging (unresponsiveness, lack of planning, late deliveries, VERY damaged packaging, hard to contact). Would love for you to reconsider them, they devalue your greatness and the quality of your products.

As an interior designer I really like Made In Design and their product selection, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
My parcel was returned to the sender due to a delivery issue, and I contacted support immediately. It has been over 10 days and I still haven’t received any response. I don’t know where my order is or what will happen next, and I am still hoping to receive it — especially since one item is now out of stock.
Great products, but very poor customer support. Please, help me! No answer, no items and no money...
