Hello, makati cargo this is my first time i send air cargo in Philippines until now my cargo not received, why? now 1month and 15days is this good service, this man collecting my package name jun this man very rude,now i need my package, this cargo is not good i really disappointed, if not received until next week i report to the police,

the service was very slow

This is my first time sending my balik bayan box but this is what happened. I expected it but until now, nothing has happened. The service they give to the people I send to is not good. Is this the first and last time I will send to this Makati Express?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WORST & NIGHTMARE SERVICE EVER

Their service is the worst service ever!!! This would be the last time I will be using Makati Express for balibayan cargo, their service is poor and doesn't put customer needs. The status of their tracking was never updated and their customer service is giving same details over and over and will let you keep waiting. I already came back from vacation in Philippines yet my packaged have not arrived yet. They promise that it will only take 60 days but it is more than 90 days now and it was not delivered yet. I will not recommend this cargo services. THEY HAVE THE WORST & NIGHTMARE SERVICE EVER!

Very Bad Experience!

Very Bad Experience!! sent 3 Boxes back in August /2024 supposedly for my family's Christmas ,but up to now didn't deliver yet, called customer service so many times,very disappointed i will not recommend Makati Express to anybody!! My Name is Norma H. Brinkerhoff from Dover,DE

This is my first time to write a review I don’t normally do this especially if I am satisfied with the service but this one got to my nerve already. It’s been five months now since they picked up the boxes and my love ones in the Philippines haven’t received it yet its already February , its very frustrating .

i send my cargo last october now its february its 4 months...my cargo arrived at cavite why in cavite im from cagayan its too far. they had branches near us. and cavite branch it not good all bad review when i browse coment there. i dont know if they send me my cargo to our place or they stuck there for long time.hope this makati branch in cavite will do their job well.

MAKATI EXPRESS CARGO VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

Brother, received the cargo today,my package was rotten outside,fully wet,with rotten/bad smell & with larvae/worms egg,most are damage ,I need also explanation why this happened and why it took more than 40 days where in fact I paid right amount for AIR CARGO I assumed it supposed to be a couple of weeks , the main concern is why my package DAMAGED???? Please give me a good explanation. Very careless handling. Why ruined like this within 40 days stored in bad place!?? Compensate for this damage!!!

This company is soooo bad

This company is soooo bad. I sent my box last August, 2024 and up to now my family in the Philippines have not rcvd it. Their custom service is very poor will not even help you. Don’t ever use them to ship your goods. You will be very disappointed. I regret using them.

I have been a regular customer of Makati Express Cargo at Dubai, UAE branch for years. Every year, I send 5-7 boxes to my family, and until now, I’ve never had any complaints. I trusted their service because they always delivered my packages on time and in good conditions.

In October 2024, I sent five cargo boxes, carefully packed, with the assurance from their staff that my cargo would arrive before Christmas. I specifically asked the Makati Express in-charge at the Dubai branch about the timeline, and they confidently said, "Yes." Trusting their word, I worked hard to prepare everything quickly to ensure my family could receive their gifts before Christmas.

However, I was deeply disappointed when my cargo only arrived four months later, on January 19, 2025. To make matters worse:

One box was missing—I sent five, but my family only received four.

The boxes that arrived were totally ruined, and many of the items inside were damaged beyond use.

Several items were also missing from the delivered boxes.

My sister sent me videos of the condition of the boxes, and I couldn’t believe how carelessly they were handled.

As an OFW, I’ve sacrificed a lot to buy these items for my family. Sending cargo is one way for us to show our love and support for them, despite being far away. To see the result of this shipment was heartbreaking and frustrating.

I am calling on Makati Express Cargo to investigate what happened to my cargo boxes and address this issue. As loyal customers, we deserve better service and accountability.

I hope this post will get their attention and prevent other OFWs from experiencing the same disappointment.

Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Behavior and Customer Service

Dear Makati Express Cargo Team,
(DUBAI)

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the behavior of one of your team members, Grace. As a customer service representative, it is concerning that she is lack of basic customer service skills required for her role. My family and I are regular customers, sending boxes at least 1-3 times a month. However, today’s experience has left us deeply dissatisfied.

Upon discovering this, I reached out to Grace via WhatsApp, asking, "Bakit di nyo po ininform na may pickup!?" (Why was I not informed that there would be a pickup?). Exactly my words.

While the pickup was happening, the gentleman assisting with the box was speaking to Grace on the phone, unaware that the conversation was on loudspeaker. During this call, Grace referred to me as "Nag-mamaoy," a term that I find both disrespectful and unprofessional. If you review my message, you will see that I even used the word "po," a sign of respect, as is customary in our culture. It is extremely inappropriate for a customer service representative to speak in such a manner about a client.

I expect this issue to be addressed at a higher level. If I do not receive a response from your management by tomorrow, I will be left with no choice but to escalate this matter to the relevant authorities.

I trust that you will take immediate action to resolve this issue and ensure that proper standards of conduct are upheld.

VERY DISAPPOINTED ON THE SERVICE! They told us 2 months it will reach and now basically it’s reaching 6 months WALA PA DIN!!

Ni kahit mag update lang hindi nila magawa and even would drop your call!!

Very RUDE! Lahat NG BRANCH NILA WALANG MAGANDA SPECIALLY KUWAIT BRANCH! It’s very annoying to communicate with them kasi mag papatay malisya lalo NA YUNG MGA NASA KUWAIT BRANCH OR PHILPPINE BRANCH VERY DISAPPOINTING KASI YUNG UPDATE D MAGAWA GAWA ILANG ARAW NAKO NAG FOFOLLOW UP TAPOS WALANG NAPALA??? Tapos ngayon sasagot tapos BIBITAWAN LANG AKO NG CALL?

May whatsapp pa na palaging reply bot messages!! May whatsapp number and call sila sa kuwait ni isa walang reply. Nakakairita lang tong mga to. WAG NA WAG KAYO MAG PADALA DITO PROMISE AS IN E TETEST YUNG PATIENCE NYO!

Tapos NGAYON HINDI NA NASAGOT NG CALL OH GUSTO NYO PA BANG E DELIVER YUNG PACKAGE?

i am really disappointed with makati…

i am really disappointed with makati express cargo. I’ve sent my package last september 28,2024 and until now I am already here in philippines still I didn’t get it. Almost 3 months waiting. How many times I followed up the box and as per them it will arrive here before Christmas. since last week i am calling and messaging them but no response. If you are thinking to send something to your loved ones I am not recommending this cargo company. Makati Express is not good as what u think.

WORST CARGO COMPANY!

My first time sending cargo. And it's so frustrating 2 months had pass no information about my cargo. The tracking number is still not available. I was expecting it will arrived in the Philippines in January but no update ever. Very worst cargo ever. Staff are not responding properly about the whereabouts of the cargo. Never again !

If I can only give zero star

If I can only give zero star. Makati Express is the worst. Please don't ever send your boxes from them. It has been half a year and we still haven't received our boxes. They also have the worst customer service. I've been trying to call them but nobody answered. Plus their tracking website is useless as you don't get to see any update.

Worst cargo so far.

This is my first time to write a review I don’t normally do this especially if I am satisfied with the service but this one got to my nerve already. It’s been six months now since they picked up the boxes (3) and my love ones in the Philippines haven’t received it yet as of this moment very frustrating looks like they don’t care with their hardworking customer. I am now inclined to file a complaint against this company I cannot let this slide just like that. My brother in law passed away and was not able to enjoy his dialysis supplement…very very sad.

Actually 1st nagpadala ang sister ko thru this MAKATI EXPRESS FORWARDER ako mismo nagpick-up sa Cavite Warehouse nila since maliit lang siya na bag and doon nakita ko sobrang daming tambak na Cargo na parang hindi na na facilitate. And now may cargo na naman na pinadala ulit last June 2024 till now wala pading update kasi everytime na tumawag ako for follow up nasa customs pa daw feeling ko may case to sa customs kaya ganun nalang sila kahirap mag release ng items and baka yung pinaka highest position wala naman sigurong ginagawa at pahiga higa lang at pa kape kape lang sguro parang si Juan tamad nag aantay na mahulog ang bayabas. please gising naman po !!!!!!

Almost 4mos and still waiting

Box was picked up on May 31st with ETA of July 31st. However, I have not received it yet. According to MEC Cx Service, they are also waiting for an update from Manila Port.

10/27- I still have not received my box and still being told that it is in Customs. I have reached out to BoC and inquired about it's status and the possibility of picking it up myself.

10/11- After almost a month since my last update, package is still in Customs. Tsk!

9/20- Nothing new. Package is still in Customs as per MEC Cx Service.

9/17- Their webpage is back up but no new updates. As per their cx service, the box is still in Customs but [base on her experience], they should receive it in their [Cavite] warehouse within this week. **crossing my fingers**

9/13- No update from MEC. Their webpage is also now suspended.

UPDATE [9/12]
Cx Service said that package is on "incoming" status to their warehouse in Cavite.

UPDATE [9/11]
I messaged them thru FB Messenger. I was told that the box arrived the country and is now in customs for clearance before it is released. No ETA was provided.
