actually even 1 star they dont deserve. They deceived customer that package will be receive maximum 3 months. My package is more than 4 months now and they just keep on telling everytime I follow up by next week by next week by next week youre never ending next week

Worst Cargo Service Ever – Do Not Use Makati Express!

I am beyond frustrated with Makati Express Cargo. My box was picked up on May 10, 2024, and as of today, it still hasn't reached my place! It's been over three months, and I'm stuck with nothing but excuses. They told me it arrived in Cavite on August 1, but that’s it. They’re blaming port congestion, but what about transparency? Why wasn’t this mentioned on their website or communicated to customers beforehand?

This company is the lowest of the low. Their service is absolutely horrendous. I will never use Makati Express again and will warn everyone I know to steer clear of this crap service.

Do yourself a favor and find a more reliable company—this one isn’t worth your time or money.

Super delayed shipment-

My Cargo box was picked up May 10,2024 as of writing this review is July 18 and still haven't received the shipment while we are just in Manila area. as expected the reason is port congestion, so I suggest to better put it on your website that sending cargo will take 90-120days and not 45days.. Your site is misleading the people.

Never Use this Company !!!😡😡😡

Never I have imagined I will experienced such case of receiving damaged & opened boxes. The box arrived was mishaped and wet. The labels I attached on each side of the box are missing. You can even understand that the box was intentionally opened and being wet. The smell of the wet part doesn’t smell like any liquid items spilled, it’s just a water. All items are rearranged. If they have received from their warehouse wet boxes they should have called and inform us of what happened but none from them notified us.I was the one bought and arranged the box so I know everything i kept but most of the items are missing. They even kept inside the box used shirts that are not mine. They must have used it while wiping the items they have took. Instead of 60 days it became 120 days. Delivery time is worst!!! I know each movement of the cargo as im always tracking it everyday and when their warehouse received the cargo they prolong the storage instead of moving it asap. To those employees who intentionally removed and took all items that we worked for, Karma will bounced back to you more than what you have stolen from all ofw’s.😡

This Makati Express Balikbayan Boxes cargo service is garbage. They picked up my boxes last February and it is already July, but the boxes cannot be tracked. Customer service is not responsive either. It is soooo FRUSTRATING. I will not use them again and strongly do not recommend them!!!

Boxes picked up in Mississippi

Boxes picked up in Mississippi mid October 2023 arrived in Angeles City, Philippines yesterday!! 5 months 11 days, totally unacceptable. The absolute worst experience ever. Do not use this company as they are so slow.

Pick up was Nov 4'2023 from FL, USA. Til now, no update, worst, when I contacted them, provided my info and actual receipt, they claim they have NO RECORDS of my two boxes. I am researching how we can start a Class Action against this company. Cannot be trusted.

It has been more than 2 months but my balikbayan box has not been delivered from uae to ph yet! Will never go for makati express again! i sent my bix last october and it is now january 15th! No update received from the staff! Could you please atleast follow up in your branches in philippines!! What a waste of money and time! Never again!

Horrible

Horrible. Just plain Godawful.

There are two component parts of the experience that actually worked; they were enthusiastic about getting my boxes off me and 2., depositing my checks.

Once in their possession, getting updates on progress was like arguing against myself. Their standards they apply to customer service left me feeling like a beggar and even at that, the responses I eventually did get - were late, then; given in terms that seemed deliberately unmeasurable, non-specific.
The content of my boxes appeared to have been subjected to carelessness and possibly overt abuse.

One of our boxes FAILED token reach the local branch without having suffered breakage of a glass bottle - andI had to have them return the box anti needed to be emptied and the salvageable items repacked.

They have finally delivered two boxes another delivery times: 113 Days and then; 119 days.

Biggest mistake in entrusting a carrier I've ever made.

This is the worse courier ever that I had experienced. When my boxes received from Dubai to Philippines and they was shocked because all the stuffs are ALL WET and all the things inside the box are ALL BROKEN. We already sent an complain to the delivery guy but as they said we have to call the customer service, and still no response from their end. Can you please help me how they can repay all the damages they have been through. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS MAKATI EXPRESS. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!

NEVER AGAIN MAKATI EXPRESS

NEVER AGAIN, MAKATI EXPRESS☹️ I've been sending boxes to the Philippines for so many years and never had this experience until I sent though this carrier; my first and last😡My balikbayan boxes took almost 4 months to get delivered to my recipients and were mishandled. A lot of stuffs got broken beyond repair. The boxes bounced from one warehouse to another; from Cebu to Cavite to Pampanga before it finally got delivered to Pangasinan. They arrived in the Philippines on Sep 6 and were not delivered until Oct 14, more than a month in the Philippines! When I reached out to their customer service, this is what they said:

"We've received an important update from our branch regarding the reason behind the damage to your box. It appears that the issue arose from the presence of multiple boxes within the container and truck, with emphasis on properly labeling the heavier ones (heavy boxes are being placed at the bottom). To ensure the utmost protection and prevent any future damage, we highly recommend securely fastening your boxes using either duct tape or packaging tape. Your cooperation in this matter will greatly contribute to safeguarding your belongings during transit."

To which I replied:

"My boxes were taped all over with 3M packaging tape. The issue was that they were mishandled! The boxes went through so many branches before it reached its destination. As customers, we were never told to label our boxes with how heavy they are. This is suppose to be determined by the carrier when they stack the boxes. And you think there will be a next time? NEVER AGAIN, MAKATI EXPRESS!"

Makati Express Cargo Bad Customer Service

Makati Express has a Terrible Customer Service. My 4 boxes were picked up Last june,7-2023, was told it has a good customer service, and you are able to track you boxes thru emails, & your Cell phone, number. Now that was alright, from the start, Found out My 4 Boxes Left U.S, July 2023. was told it will take 2-3 months. My concerned was the Customer Service , New Jersey, never reply at all. My boxes arrived In Cebu, Sept.25th , I called Sept.28 was cleared from the Custom, was told 2 Boxes going to Cavite Branch and two -going to Ormoc. Called , send messages , Customer Support kept telling me No updates, or In Transit . Mind you We are on October 18. 2023, One Box was delivered last-Oct.9th, to Tacloban, leyte because , I begged and explained Have medications on each boxes. The other Box , going to Leyte was put on hold. until now. And two In Luzon. I am very disappointed , of the services I received from Makati, I have told them My First and Last to dealt with this Company. Poor Customer Service, Full Of Promises. Took almost 4 months and still dealing with them. Bad Business .. Please take away the Express, and add DELAYED !!
