delayed shipment. Almost 2 months now!
sent boxes almost 2 months now, but status still shows that these are still in Malaysia (to note that it reached Malaysia more than a month ago) status is not moving and all the customer service can say is that they are waiting for an update from shipper and just keep saying that the boxes are still in Malaysia and they cannot do anything! almost 2 month now, which means it can still take a month or more to reach to us!

The BEST thing for Makati Express is to disappear from reality and allow the REAL shipping companies to take over. Makati Express is a profoundly dysfunctional business. Los Angeles to the Philippines took FOUR MONTHS!! Tracking was nonexistent. Customer service was nowhere to be found. No reply from the chats and nobody ever answered the phone. TERRIBLE!!! How does this horrible company stay in business?? Nobody knows!!

Reliable Balikbayan Service (multiple shipments over several years)
I am an American who used Makati Express to ship twelve balikbayan boxes over a three year period. Each box took about the same amount of time for delivery -- approximately 100 days. The cost of each shipment was the same, a very low cost for the amount of goods shipped. My local agent was very helpful in providing boxes, helping with correct addressing and so on. Overall, it was hard work to pack each box securely and transport to the agent. But once in Makati's hands I could track the parcels online. Delivery was uneventful -- no extra fees or surprises.

The worst cargo company. It's been 5 months but my cargo is not yet delivered and can't be tracked. Nobody answers when you call them.
Never use Makati express.
Very bad service.. it's over a month since I dropped my box at the agent to this day my box still not found in their system.. I tried contacting them million times.. no answer.. people don't use makati express for your balikbayan box find a reliable one.

I send my cargo from Saudi khamis branch four months ago. Until now I didn't receive and there is no confirmation from makati when it will receive. Very bad service and no responsibility.

Kahit ang dami na nilang complaints from their customers, they still keep on delaying the shipment as much as they can!! Kahit magmakaawa ka at makiusap ng maayos at magalit parang nag eenjoy yan sila!!! I swear to God hinding hindi na ako uulit!!!! They are enjoying receiving complaints as they are not even doing something to prioritize the shipments which have been delayed for long enough!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. My mom died in August 2022 and she wanted her ashes to be interred in the family mausoleum. No...thank God, I had no plans in placing my mother's ashes in the Balikbayan box. (Although, others were brave to do that) However, the supplies for her internment were in the box. I was told end of the week, January 29, the box would arrive. Sunday came and then Monday came and the box never showed up. I was forced to buy everything again. The package has been in the Pampanga office since January 12th. Had they answered their calls, had they been honest about the expected date, we would have picked it up from their warehouse. It is a shame that when others such as your country (wo)men depend upon you and your company to come through especially during a critical event...you fail miserably. I will certainly address this with your agent in the States and find another company to send my packages through, irrespective of the expense as long as it gets to its destination. LBC never had any issues previously. They seem to get the packages to their destination timely. Lack of a truck or whatever issues they have should be resolved without inconveniencing the customer. A business with continuous negative reviews will not exist for long. I hope my package is still intact and my dead mother doesn't have anything to say about all of this.

Very bad experience Makati Express Crago.
Imagine 120 days already still not been arrive my cargo.They Pick up my boxes August 27 and the Container depart in Saudi in Sept 2 2022 and expected date of arrival in Phils is Dec 2,2022 but what happened now December 21 already still not been arrive.

Do not use this service! Your package will take forever to arrive and you will have a hard time getting thru customer service! It’s been 3 months and no update on my box. No update on their tracking page other then ETA of Nov 4th and it’s already Dec. 9! No update whatsoever! By far the worst company ever! You’ve been warn, do not use them! Find a different company! I used to live in New Jersey and I was using a different company to send my packages and it would arrive to its destination within a month or a month in a half the latest. Since I moved to Texas I decided to use this company and it’s been hell!

I have been using this courier since i came to dubai for almost 5 years already. Before they were fine but now! Worst experience ever! Worst customer service! Already almost 3 months still my package hasnt arrive in the Philippines! All the local numbers that they have in manila is not working! Their response on facebook is very slow! I used to be a regular customer of Makati Express also with another shipping company but it is about Makati Express so.. I never had any problems with the packages I sent in the past. They all arrived on time and in good condition. But I stopped using their services as they do not have a regular employee assigned to my region.

It took more than 3 months for my cargo to arrive after countless follow ups which was answered rudely by their Indian agent here in kuwait. I tracked my cargo online which I found out received by their cavite office which was supposed to be delivered to Cebu and when I called their office here they told me it was just error in the update. The box, sent 16 Dec. 2021, received 25 March 2022 was in horrible condition when received by my son
Not happy with your service
Worst freight company. Worst customer service. The lady on the phone was so irate. Box was sent November 11, 2021 from the US. Estimated arrival was Feb 03, 2022. It's now March 08, 2022 and the lady said the box status is incoming. Box is still in Cebu, not in Iloilo yet. Took them 3 months to ship from the US to Cebu and over a month to ship from Cebu to Iloilo. Worst company ever.
Jumbo+bulilit different departure date
I had my box (jumbo+bulilit) collected Oct. 25, 2021, but until now we did not receive yet the package. The issue started when the package loaded in different container with 11 days apart departure date. Odette typhoon hit Cebu and they have a valid reason now to tell me about the delay of my shipment arrival due to port congestion and clearance delay which is I can consider it as a customer. Prior to that, I requested on Nov. 18th via whatsapp customer service that whichever box will arrived first should deliver it right away without waiting for another box to arrive since my city is just 2 hours away from Bacolod. It's already Jan. 31 and the first box already in Bacolod since Jan. 22 waiting for the 2nd box arrival so they can arrange the delivery to my City. The issue started from Makati Staff and the management should do something to atleast meet the customer expectation. I won't mind these delay if they consider my request of delivery. Should I wait for another month to receive my package??
P.S.
Aside from DELAY issue I hope my package are still in good condition coz any alibi from your side are no longer acceptable!
