We have had a fantastic experience from beginning to end. The Sales team were knowledgeable, friendly and prompt to give us information. Once the order was placed there was continual feedback as they walked us through the process and bookings. The installation teams all arrived on time and were a joy to have on our property. The end product is high quality and we are exceptionally happy. Thanks to all !

We purchased a premium shed from Malvern. It's just been installed and it's brilliant. Really happy with our purchase, the sales team were informative (and not pushy!) and the installers were great. Spot on!

The shed took 11 weeks to arrive, not the 4-5 weeks I was advised when I ordered it (the time was shortened from 13 weeks after I complained). I am very happy with quality of the product and was delighted with the team that erected it.

We were contacted regularly to keep us updated of the process of the order . We were given a lot of information and contacts for laying the base needed for the summer house. Any queries were answered in a timely manner by a very polite and informative team.
Delivery and installment went without any problem and very professional.

From beginning to end the service from Malvern Collection was great. Friendly, personable and good value for money. There were a couple of small things that needed adjusting and replacing and they were happy to do so - Would highly recommend!

Such a great experience from start to finish. The salesman at Penrith was really friendly,told him what our budget was, he made sure got everything we wanted within that.Not at all pushy,really nice guy.Malvern people were great, we spoke several times to discuss our queries, really helpful & friendly, they talked us through each stage of what happens from receiving our order to it being built, lovely people.Finally the team that travelled from woucester with our building to build it were amazing. On arrival they were treated to some typical cumbrian weather. It was torrential rain, they carried on regardless in good style.Really nice friendly guys & proffesional. One guy treated us to his musical talents, bless him he really shouldn't have 😂.In summary it is our pleasure to recommend Malvern, rarely do you get such good customer service through out. Well done the whole team.

On buying our Summer House is was made very easy to know our options what was available regarding type etc. No pressure to buy but a very comprehensive and friendly individual.
The Summer House then arrived with fitters who were very experienced and professional and went up without any problems in quite a quick timescale.
We were also regularly contacted by the Company with updates to times and arrival.
The Summer House is everything we hoped for and we are extremely satisfied with the build etc. Thankyou Malvern for a good experience

Base for shed and shed erected very proficiently. Very pleased with the work.

Through from initial contact to delivery, excellent service and a really good quality shed. When first inquiring, no pressure to order on the spot (despite a short term discount offer) which gave me time to research options and come to the conclusion that this was the best value shed of this quality.
Service throughout was great and the delivery and construction team were really cheerful, helpful and installed the shed incredibly quickly.

Very pleased with my new 12’ x 6’ heavy duty painted Pent shed. Shed is a bad description, it’s more like a proper outdoor building. The pre purchase advice and help was followed by an efficient and prompt installation. In all, very satisfied.

From Lazlo at Old Barn Nurseries in January to completion in May every one was helpful..Two young men who erected the building worked hard and the finished building is excellent in every way. The electricians followed two days later Everything worked exactly to the time scale set. We are so pleased and can highly recommend Malvern Buildings..

Malvern has just completed my garden room. I used their platinum package to include concrete base and electrics and have to say I am delighted with the result. All the installers were polite and the building was put up quickly. It was left clean and tidy with all waste cleared away. Many thanks to Sophie who was so helpful with any queries. I am really looking forward to enjoying using the room all year round.

Great service & experience from start to finish. Majella in the sales team was great, showing us round the summerhouses and helping us to choose the bespoke design we wanted. Manufacturing, delivery and installation all perfect as well - would highly recommend.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Poor quality, no accountability, endless delays.
If you’re considering spending thousands on a garden building, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Malvern has provided a truly terrible customer experience — a three-month ordeal that still remains unresolved. Avoid this company unless you’re happy to become the unpaid project manager of your own unfinished, subpar garden building.
I didn’t believe the concerned reviewers at the time of purchase — unfortunately, they were right. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The first installation had to be completely dismantled and rebuilt because the structure was leaning forward and to one side, with one corner propped up on plastic packers — leaving a visible gap underneath. A professional job, apparently. You’d think such a disaster would warrant an immediate site visit and explanation by someone who knew what they were doing. You’d think.
Alas, it remained like that for two weeks — visibly shifting and settling into its warped position — while I chased them to return. And that two-week turnaround? A battle in itself. Was I given a replacement building? Of course not — just the same one, patched back together.

Ongoing Issues (yes, still going…)

Now the count is four visits over three months — and key problems remain unresolved. Yes, the bulging tongue-and-groove panelling has been refitted. The glass doors have been replaced too. But they still rattle — and, according to Malvern, always will. The warped shed door? Also “normal,” and will remain warped. The bulging laminate floor? Still bulging.
And the paint finish? A mess. I chose a dark colour (don't!)— my reward: greasy blotches, bulging and blistering, visible knots, unsprayed patches, and exposed silicone around the windows and doors. Each visit adds more patchy filler and uneven paint. Quite the opposite of a premium finish.

You’ll need to do your own quality control.
Malvern’s quality control is non-existent. Expect chips, cracks, warps, unsanded knots, and rough notches straight from the factory. You’ll be the one catching the flaws — because they certainly won’t. They rely on you not noticing. Fitters are hit-or-miss. Some are competent. Others damage your property — so if you care about your decking, paving, or garden surfaces, beware. They may spill paint on yours too, and cause damage, oh and never even mention it.

Customer service: an oxymoron.
Don’t expect to be treated like a valued customer — you’ll be just a number in a queue of half-finished jobs. Each issue you raise sends you back to the end of the line, that’s if they even remember to submit your paperwork, and every response is painfully slow. The delays are not just long — they’re endless.

“Compensation” and communication
Full disclosure: I did receive a small refund for the damage — though calling it "compensation" is generous. I was also offered a site visit from a director, but declined due to (you guessed it) the unbearable wait time. It was also somewhat ridiculous that the visit was to "understand" my experience — as if my extensive emails, photo evidence, and formal complaint hadn’t already done that.

And Now…
I’m being ignored.
No responses to emails.
No updates.
Items on the snag list remain outstanding.
No one is taking responsibility.

Is Malvern for you?
If you’re excited about managing your own botched installation, enjoy chasing silence, and like watching your building deteriorate while you wait months for basic fixes — Malvern might be the company for you.
But if you expect a finished product that looks like what’s on their show site, installed properly and backed by meaningful support? Look elsewhere.

Malvern, if you’re listening:
There has been no formal apology. If Mr Andrew Peck — the person who is supposedly personally committed to 100% customer satisfaction— actually exists, I’d welcome the opportunity to speak with him.
People invest a huge amount of time, thought, and emotion into their gardens. Your glorified sheds don’t come cheap — they’re meant to be lasting, high-quality centrepieces of outdoor spaces. In return, we expect to receive a product and service that reflects the premium price tag.
Right now, that couldn’t be further from the reality you’re delivering. It’s not just the product that’s falling short — it’s the experience from start to (still waiting for) finish.

The Malvern collection Shed look amazing in the showroom.
However what was delivered had quite a few flaws and splits.
Took weeks for Malvern to deal with the complaint. They finally sent somebody out.
Repairs were carried out on a brand new £5000 shed. Apparently the splits in the wood are where windows etc are attached in transit. The workmen that originally put the shed up were grumpy having been on the road since 4.30 am.This is their job and not the customers fault.

Part of the Apex had to be replaced due to the workmen not taking care when hammering the nails in.

We had broken paving slabs which they didn’t tell us they had done. Rubber bands thrown down on to our grass. They knew we had a dog who could have choked on them.

I could not be happier with the experience I have had from Malvern and with the building itself which has been life changing for our family to give us more living space.

Last year I registered interest online, having visited a local showroom. Not long after this I received a message asking about what I was looking for. With a limited budget but clear requirements for a garden office, I left it with Cathy not expecting to hear back. About a week later I was told there was an ex display unit was available in storage that was perfect for our needs. I was genuinely impressed that she had actually listened to my requirements and saved me the time of having to look for myself.

Nothing was ever too much trouble, Cathy helped us organise the base by DryBase and they worked hand in hand together without us needing to organise anything. Les (who installed the dry base) even took measurements of our side access which meant that we didn’t have to take the roof down and passed these on to Malvern.

When installing the unit, having put half of it up on day one the installers decided they weren’t happy with the spray work in the unit and took it down to be resprayed (they had a better eye for detail than we did!) and returned the next day to start again and were still finished ahead of schedule. The workmanship was excellent and we are so delighted with it, the installers were friendly and courteous and didn’t even want a cup of tea!

Malvern built a beautiful “Pent” building in our back garden in a lovely estate blue colour. It was done quickly and efficiently to a really high spec. ( electrics- platinum package) It contrasts beautifully against our shrubs and vegetation. And as it is South facing we have a building now that gives us light and warmth.

Very pleased with our ex display Studio Pavilion. It makes a lovely addition to our garden.
The father and son team who assembled the pavilion were very efficient and worked continuously throughout the day. The whole process from delivery to assembly was very smooth. I would thoroughly recommend Malvern Garden Buildings.
