Just don't employ this company

Just don't employ this company. I had a salesman come round and say sign up today as these special offers end today, so you end paying a deposit. So you get your new walk in bath and the bathroom done. You spend thousands on the bath and then you can't even use it, because the taps are set at 38 degrees. The water goes cold after ten minutes no chance of scalding yourself more a risk of pneumonia sitting in cold water,backed by Dr Hilary Jones. Forget about a hot bath, Don't tell you about this at the sales pitch. But guess what they tell you that you can go and buy another unit without the thermostat so you can actually have a hot bath. The unit is a few hundred pounds and more if you need a plumber to fit it. So your better off getting a plumber/bathroom fitter to use materials that are fit for purpose in the first place.

We are concerned to hear that you felt pressured during the sales visit and that the promotional information provided did not fully meet your expectations. All our sales representatives are required to operate transparently and in full compliance with regulatory standards. Following an internal review, we can confirm that the required procedures were followed; however, we regret that your experience did not reflect the level of clarity and confidence we aim to provide.

Regarding the thermostatic tap temperature, our walk in baths are fitted with thermostatic controls in accordance with UK safety regulations to protect users, particularly vulnerable individuals, from the risk of scalding. You should still be able to enjoy a warm and comfortable bathing experience. A rapid drop in temperature can sometimes be linked to the performance or capacity of the existing hot water system, and we would encourage you to have your boiler and hot water supply assessed to ensure they are functioning correctly and capable of providing sustained heat.

We also note your comments concerning the mention of an alternative tap unit. Any such information is advisory only, as Mobility Bathing Group does not supply or install non thermostatic taps. Customers who wish to explore alternative fittings must do so independently through a qualified plumbing professional. We will be reviewing the communication in this case to ensure clarity for all customers moving forward.

A good experience with Mobility Plus.

My ‘Richmond’ shower was installed in three days. Harry was my electrician and Andy carried out the installation and other specified work in my en-suite. Both men were efficient and professional, consulting my wishes throughout and ensuring that I was thoroughly briefed on how to operate my new shower.
My home was treated with respect at all times and left clean and tidy. My experience with all staff I have dealt with at Mobility Plus was excellent and I would recommend their services.

Chris fitter has been excellent

Chris fitter has been excellent
Taking a pride in his work and ensuring the bathroom was completed to a high standard
When any concerns were raised he supported and did his upmost best to try and support resolve any concerns between myself and mobility plus .
I Would also like to feedback re Lawrence the electrician who was also brilliant.
Both were loverly cheeky chappies and I would not hesitate to welcome into my home again .

Not a good experience with this company

Called enquiring about a bathroom quotation . You have to go through a lengthy questionnaire prior to any further interaction which contains very personal questions. When I advised I wasn’t comfortable sharing this volume of personal information for a quotation only I was advised I could not go any further and the call was terminated.

Wonderful Service

From the first initial phone call to the completed installation the service was 100% excellent. Grant the mobility rep was patient and kind to my mum, taking the time to listen to what she wanted and her stories of growing up. He didn't pressure us into going ahead, giving my mum the option to change her mind right up until the last minute, so refreshing not to have a hard pressure sales rep ❤️. David the surveyor was also brilliant, he spent time making sure the design was right and made adjustments to suit the space but always consulted with my mum first, again very patient and polite, he even did a follow up on the installation once it was finished to ensure all ok, which of course it was and that was down to our fitter Callum. He was very professional and you could tell he took pride in what he was doing ensuring all was perfect for my mum, once he had finished the installation he went through all the settings, do's and dont's, he then waited for my mum to come upstairs to look at the bathroom and went through everything again, he could have easily left it to me but didn't. It's the little touches from all of the people we have dealt with that make this company outstanding. Highly recommend anyone to use this company.

My new walk in shower by Mobility Plus

My new walk in shower by Mobility Plus is excellent and I now find it easier to shower comfortably. However, the installation was very rushed and the operative did not finish off the job properly. The ‘making good’ at the end of the process was extremely poor. He also left my bathroom and hallway in a mess. He damaged the ceiling when bringing fittings into my flat. Crucially, the shower floor he installed was not non-slip.

Following complaints, the non-slip floor was properly installed on a second visit. But the new operative made a very poor job of the needed ‘making good’. Nothing was properly resolved in terms of the overall finish, and the risk of leaks remained.

A third visit was arranged and the poor workmanship was acknowledged. I was offered £200 off the final fee to pay my own trusted plumber to do the ‘making good’. This was achieved. Further interaction with the Company led to apologies and a very small recompense for all the distress and inconvenience caused.

The whole process itself was dreadful. I expected much better level of service in return for such high fees paid. And greater acknowledgement and proper recompense for the failures in professional standards along the way.

Overall I would not recommend this Company.

New en suite.

The end product looked really good,a very smart en suite.At the purchase stage I wish I was more aware of how much work I would have to do myself,fortunately it turned out to be not much which I can get my son to do.

Brilliant Installation

After a nasty fall in my Bathroom, I contacted Mobility Plus for a Bathroom upgrade. They are not the cheapest, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Bathroom totally ripped out, new everything walk in shower, new Toilet, Wash Basin, Heated Towel Rail. New flooring. Installed to a standard which even surprised me, and I can be quite picky. All pipework hidden. Exceptional job. A++++++

Fine, worry free installation

From start to finish I cannot fault the staff at the main office for the reassurance that I had made the right decision to order a wet room installation by Mobility plus. From that time on everything ran smoothly and the job was completed in 5 days. All due to the friendly installer working alone who was absolutely brilliant. His name was Vasile Rusu and there can be no finer praise for the way he carried out the work always taking care to leave the room in a tidy state and the end result was nothing short of excellent.
A daily phone call from Sameer to check on progress and it’s affect on me was so friendly and much appreciated. He takes customer service to the highest level and I thank him for doing so

A complete package

A complete package. A little more expensive than some others, but worth it. No shuffling tilers and plumbers and electricians. Everything arrived when it was supposed to, all good quality. Fitter, Steve, was always prompt and did a great job. Excellent communication from start to finish. 00212514

Converting our old bathroom in an old…

Converting our old bathroom in an old cottage was a challenge but Bogdan worked hard to produce a beautiful finish.
The electrical work was very difficult and took longer than expected. It also caused minor damage to the wall/ceiling which had to be repaired.
Removal of waste was a problem and should have been done daily. Customer support throughout was very good.

I’ve just had a new bathroom fitted by…

I’ve just had a new bathroom fitted by Rafal Seremak for Mobility Plus. Fitting was performed efficiently and professionally.
A lot of time is spent waiting for newly fitted components to dry, so most days he would only be at my house for a few hours in the morning. Nevertheless, work proceeded smoothly without hitch and the finished product is excellent.
I now use the bathroom regularly and enjoy using it.
The entire process of buying the bathroom from Mobility was smooth, from initial contact, survey ordering and fitting. Highly recommended.
