Ordered an air conditioning unit through Amazon for £420 and after 3 weeks they cancelled the order on the final day it was due to be delivered. This order was essential to keep my family cool during the frequent UK heat waves. As I knew this order was coming, I didn’t try to purchase another air conditioning unit. Now looking at their website, new units are coming in stock in 4 weeks from posting, but now at the price of £500. This is incredibly poor capitalism on their part. Not honouring a previous order just to make an extra £80. There was zero communication from them as a seller. They don’t care about anyone’s safety, just the bottom line and making a 16% increase in profit.

Small tower fan - no good
Bought a small tower fan as it looked very nice and neat. I and am very disappointed with it. It goes up to 6 speeds but feels non-existent. I should have researched it better! No oomph!
If you want a small gentle breeze on your face then it’s fine. Otherwise don’t buy it.

Customer Services Team - a credit to the company!
I can't remember a time when I didn't have a Morphy Richards kettle in my kitchen, so when my Evoke model began to forget to switch off, I decided to buy a kettle from the Accents range. Usually I buy in Dept Stores or from online sellers, but this time I went direct to Morphy Richards website.
I had an issue with completing the order form and rang Customer Services. The two members of staff who took my calls were very helpful and after our chat, I was able to place the order the following day. The Customer Service was excellent - friendly, knowledgeable and caring - thank you Morphy Richards!
Needless to say, I'm delighted with my new Accents purple kettle - it looks lovely in my kitchen.

Poor Poor Service, two year warranty a joke, kettle registered, contacted the multi-million pound company
sent a video plus proof of purchase, proof of dates, i keep getting emails to send the information again and again. i will never purchase and product from this lot again and neither will my family.

Dismal Customer Service
As new parents to a premature baby girl who cannot regulate her body temperature, we desperately needed this air conditioner to keep her safe during the extreme 35°C+ heat.
The delivery was handled by DX Freight. It never arrived despite confirmation texts. After hours on hold, they admitted it was lost. When we contacted Morphy Richards, their customer service manager Alex was polite and issued a refund — but that left us in a far worse position. They couldn’t (or wouldn’t) provide a replacement due to stock issues, and now suitable units are impossible to find.
We are exhausted new parents dealing with a vulnerable premature newborn who urgently needs a stable cool environment for her health. Instead of helping us resolve this critical issue, we got an apology and told we’d receive a refund, that hasn’t yet materialised, but doesn’t solve anything. No urgency, no compassion for the medical circumstances we clearly explained, and no real attempt to put things right.

BE ALSO VERY CLEAR IT OPERATES POLICIES THAT ARE BORDERLINE LEGAL. BEING PLASTICS IN ITS DOMESTIC PRODUCTS WHEREBY THEY SAY WITHIN ACCEPTABLE LIMTS. EXAMPLE THE KETTLE RANGE WHICH CONSUMERS USE HAS PLASTICS WHICH ARE BORDERLINE WHICH THEY DEEM ACCEPTABLE LIMITS. THERE SHOUL BE NO ACCABLE LIMTS AND ALL KETTLES SHOULD BE 100% SAFE.
CORRECTION, HAD YOUR SAID STAFF MEMBER BEEN BETTER TRAINED AND NOT ENRAGED ME AS A CUSTOMER THEN MAYBE I WOULD NOT HAVE LOST MY COOL, I WAS DRIVEN TO THIS DUE TO THE COMPLETE LACK OF RESPECT AND UNDERSTANDING BY THE SAID INDIVIDUAL.
AS FOR YOUR GENERIC REPLIES , THEY ARE NOT FACTUAL AND I REFER YOU TO PREVIOUS STATEMENTS FROM YOUR SITE STATING PLASTICS BEING WITHIN EU REGS, HOWEVER YOU FAILED TO STATE THAT THEY ARE BORDERLINE AS REPRESENTED. I ALSO AGAIN STATE THIS IS A FLAW IN DESIGN AS NO UNIT WHEREBY HUMAN CONSUMPSION SHOULD CONTAIN ANY TRACE ELEMENTS OF PLASTICS. ALL YOUR DOING IS A PR RECOVERY JAOB HERE HOWEVER YOU CANT MITIGATE THE FACTS THAT YOUR SAID KETTLE HAS A FAULTY FILTER AND IT BREAKS UP THEREBY ALLOWING THE CONSUMER TO INGEST IT, THATS JUST WRONG AND CLEARLY A FLAWED DESIGN.
THE COMPANIES REPLY CLEARLY HAS NOT LOOKED AT WHAT THEY FIRST REPLIED TO ME. PARTS OF THIS SAID KETTLE BEING HIGH PRICED AT OVER FIFETY POUNDS, HAS A FILTER AT TEH SPOUT WHICH BREAKS UP, THIS CANNOT EVER BE CONSIDERED AS OK ITS A FLAWED CONCEPT AND SHUOLD BE STAINLESS STEEL.

Disappointed by lack of delivery or resolution
Disappointed. Waiting for a product that didn’t arrive in the scheduled delivery timeframe. Emailed customer services to cancel the order so that we could get a refund and order elsewhere and were told they had forgotten our parcel at the depo - no apology but was rescheduled for the following week - same thing happened! Annoying when you take time off to receive a delivery. I’m not normally a “Karen” about things but we emailed again to explain what happened and this time they agreed to a refund but it’s been a week and nothing so far. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this company based from our experience unfortunately.

I had a Morphy Richards kettle which suddenly stopped working. I contacted the company and they responded very quickly and helpfully. As requested by them, I sent photos and again received a prompt reply from Rich. He advised me to send the kettle back to Amazon and seek a refund or replacement. Within no time at all I'd contacted Amazon and arrange for the kettle to be returned. Next thing I know there's a refund on its way to me. So, thank you, Rich for your extremely speedy and professional help. Well done!

Thank you so much for solving my issue .. I bought a kettle from Morphy Richards since August 2024, but unfortunately it stopped working only this month (June 2026).
With the 2 years warranty, I asked the customer service to look into the issue. Luckily, within 10 days the issue was solved and a new kettle was provided..
