5 Stars from me for customer service and products!w
I have visited the mountain warehouse store in WSM a few times over the past few weeks, I've purchased some wellies and clothes for my 4 year old you really can't go wrong with the price, and the quality of their stuff. All the staff in store are really helpful and welcoming, I want to say a special thankyou to Jack he's always so welcoming and ready to offer his assistance. I will be back soon ready for the winter months I would give more stars but it only lets me do 5!

I asked where the rucksacks were
One of them told me
I spent about ten minutes trying out various articles
Stock straps are tight and knotted and need to be undone and adjusted
One of them watched me do it
No attempt to help or to sell the product
She just went off and joined the rest of the team having a chat and a laugh at the till
A real pity as I’ve always had positive experience of this chain in the past
And I really want the High Street to survive and thrive

I live in North Wales but was visiting…
I live in North Wales but was visiting family in the Bristol area and made a trip down to Weston-super-Mare, where I popped into Mountain Warehouse to pick up a few things for my children.
I’d found a raincoat online for my daughter and Jack was really friendly and helpful in helping me find it in store. I was also looking for a swimming hat for my son and couldn’t find one, but Jack went out of his way to look and managed to find the last one in the store for me.
He was genuinely friendly, approachable and helpful throughout, and also helped me price match everything I bought so I wasn’t paying more than the online price. Nothing was too much trouble, and it made the whole experience really easy.
Really lovely customer service from Jack and a credit to the Weston-super-Mare store. I’d definitely be happy to shop there again when I’m next visiting the area.

Great customer service
Great customer service. Very prompt response when needed.
I dealt with a number of different representatives but they all offered a very high support level.
Although I had an issue with a zipper on the coat I ordered they assisted me promptly and satisfactory.
The items I purchased were very well made and I would highly recommended them.

Thankyou Mountain Warehouse. We had an issue with a broken strap on my wife’s Kokomo sandals. After contacting them on their website, showing photos and the receipt, We were so pleased that they are sending a new pair.

I just wanted to leave some feedback for Jake at the Taplow store.
I bought a pair of hiking shoes around five months ago, but unfortunately they became faulty after my first hike. The lady at the counter explained that the return period was only 60 days, but Jake overheard the conversation while helping another customer and stepped in. He explained that the shoes were still covered under warranty and immediately offered to help.
Jake was friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to make sure the issue was resolved. He also helped me choose a new pair of shoes. I had to pay the price difference, but I honestly didn’t mind because his service was so good.
He’s an amazing young man and also told me that he’s a Scout leader who helps organise hikes and other activities. Jake is a real credit to the Taplow store, thank you for going above and beyond!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service from Beth!I visited the Oxford branch of Mountain Warehouse looking for a few specific items for an upcoming trip: a new money bumbag, a lightweight fleece, and lightweight walking trousers with zip-off legs and a belt.Honestly, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the options and probably would have walked out empty-handed if it wasn't for Beth, the Assistant Manager. She provided superb help and gave me exactly the guidance I needed to make the right decisions. Her customer service was excellent, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable.Thank you, Beth, for turning a potentially stressful shopping trip into a completely successful one! Highly recommend this branch ....ask for Beth!!

You get what you pay for with Mountain Warehouse it seems
I usually like Mountain Warehouse but bought their walking sticks and one bent when it bounced off the ground, landed in the way of my legs and I walked into it!
This sort of thing (the landing in the way of your walking) happens all the time when hiking in rough terrain but the idea that the walking stick breaks or bends is frankly scary - you can't trust a stick that is that weak when leaning on it with a big drop below!.
To make matters worse, I've just gone through the refund process and they are charging me £2 to return the item - it's your trash item that's at fault so why am I paying for the return??!! I would chase it but it wouldn't be worth the money for the time so I will have to console myself with this review instead.

Great service in the Aberystwyth store…
Great service in the Aberystwyth store today. Adam was especially helpful with finding the right walking footwear and took the time to help me get the fit right. Lisa was also really helpful with choosing a waterproof jacket. Friendly, patient and knowledgeable service from both — much appreciated.

I bought a pair of trainers. They arrived very quickly.
Unfortunately, they did not fit. The return process was painless and they refunded within days.

I visited the Weston Super Mare store…
I visited the Weston Super Mare store today whilst visiting family members, and the shop was not open on time and when arriving late the male staff member told me to “chill out, its only been 15 minutes”. When I finally entered the store it was arguably the messiest Mountain Warehouse i’d visited and the male staff member brought in a horrible odour. 18/09/26

I came in to buy many items that I had…
I came in to buy many items that I had seen online but wanted to see them in person before I bought them. Eleanor went completely above and beyond to help me. She took the time to answer all my questions, showed me around the shop and even tracked down a pair of sandals in the back stockroom. Exceptional customer service—I will definitely shop here again!

Great customer service
I ordered three products in the sale over bank holiday, two were dispatched quickly & arrived a few days later; the third item was dispatched but never arrived. When I spoke with Barbara via live chat she was very apologetic and unfortunately the boots I ordered were now out of stock, I had the option to accept a refund but asked Barbara to send the boots in a different colourway as a replacement. She has arranged this and I look forward to my boots arriving soon for my exciting trip to Iceland. Great customer service from Barbara :)
