Hi today I phoned Mountain Warehouse, regarding g and issue and order I wanted to place, Apart from great quality items, the client service is fantastic. Kelly on client duty in the UK was unbelievable. She was just so helpful, incredibly patient and knowlegable. Wish there were more companies who provided similar service and great staff like Kelly.

Don’t trust the Northwest Territory company
I purchased a pair of ladies walking boots but was from a another branded company and the boots in question are Victoria Womens Leather Waterproof Walking
These badly bruised my ankle and the customer service at mountain warehouse was helpful but not the northwest territory company which was so unhelpful. Avoid buying through them and trust mountain warehouse. I have given them 3 stars as I feel they could have done better as they are damaging their own reputation as well.
Will think twice about buying a pair of boots on line.

Vertex Mens Wide-Fit Extreme "Waterproof" Vibram Boots
They're not waterproof. Bought these in May this year and due to warm dry summer they've had very little use. First time out in anything like wet conditions, wet grass, not puddles, they leak along the welt on both boots. Feet wet through. Not Recommended.

They use your data without permission
Ordered online to collect from store. Gave address for payment purposes only. Did not agree to any marketing. Now getting spam in the post from them.
Try to complain online and just get AI generated replies that don’t address the issue and sound weirdly creepy.

Parcel did not arrive and no real apology; dismissive customer service
I ordered a coat, which I was rapidly told was 'dispatched' (same day). I then heard nothing at all - for over a fortnight: the tracking link provided in the confirmation email simply said that the courier had been 'advised that sender has dispatched.' It's unclear whether it was lost by Mountain Warehouse or by the courier, but what is clear is that
a) nothing was done to follow up
b) when I enquired I was simply told that 'the courier lost it' (though when pushed they admitted this was not definitely the case as they couldn't be sure exactly when/where it was lost).
c) I was told I would get a refund, but no apology beyond 'I'm sorry your parcel has not arrived.'
d) the coat had since gone out of stock - so no possibility of another one, again the response was simply "it is out of stock so you'll get a refund".
The replies I got on the chat were fairly dimissive. No apology for lack of contact. No apology for lack of coat really - and blame squarely shifted onto the courier which may be the case, but also may well not be!

I will never shop in this place again
I will never shop in this place again - they are happy to take your money but you will find it impossible to get your money back when returning a defective item. I bought a pair of Outdoor III shoes and have only worn them for 6 weeks before they started developing holes in the soles. On one shoe, the inner sole is disintegrated and you can see daylight though them. After 6 weeks of light wear. Took them back and they were not interested at all, said they couldn't do anything - as I didn't have the receipt. Fair enough, but Mountain Warehouse, and especially Mark at the Ashbourne Branch, have you heard of discretion? You can clearly see that they are YOUR product, you can clearly see they are defective, you still stock the exact same pairs of shoes. I only asked for a replacement. Just go somewhere else. Appalling Service.

Extremely frustrating experience…
Extremely frustrating experience ordering online.
I wanted a pair of mens sandals size 10.
On their website it stated , in stock. I ordered 1 pair, £24.99 plus postage. The order confirmation came back for size 11. No good for me!!.
So within 25 minutes I phoned customer service to alert them to error and asked for exchange to size 10, as originally ordered. I was informed size 10 was "out of stock" and I couldn't cancel my order !!!. Now I've got a long drive to Rugby, for a refund. But only on the goods, not £4.50 postage!! . Outcome ----ive got no sandals to wear and I'm out of pocket.
Comments please, Mountain Warehouse??.

Waterproof jacket coating disintegrated after washing
I bought a Pakka II Women’s Waterproof Jacket from Mountain Warehouse and was very disappointed with what happened after washing it.
The jacket is sold as waterproof and the care label states that it can be machine washed on a delicate cycle at up to 30°C. I washed mine in cold water, but after washing, the internal waterproof coating extensively peeled away and disintegrated.
This is not simply a case of reduced water repellency or the jacket needing to be reproofed. Large sections of the internal layer have physically separated from the fabric, including around the taped seams. The jacket is now unusable for its intended purpose.
I would not expect this level of deterioration from a waterproof jacket that is labelled as machine washable.
I have contacted Mountain Warehouse, provided photos showing the damage and requested a replacement or refund. I am currently waiting for their response and will update this review depending on how the issue is handled.

I have visited the mountain warehouse store in WSM a few times over the past few weeks, I've purchased some wellies and clothes for my 4 year old you really can't go wrong with the price, and the quality of their stuff.
