Visited Mountain warehouse on 15th September 2026 at Ashford Kent outlet centre with a list of clothing Chatgbt recommended but had no idea where to look.i approached a store assistant middle age lady who was extremely helpful and spent time with me sourcing all from the list . She is a great asset to the company I wish I took her name she deserves praise from higher management. Also she mention drinking water from snowdonia streams which was greatly appreciated specially knowing that taking the tablets to purifi the water

Love the quality and warmth
Love the quality and warmth of our granddaughter’s snowsuit. Purchased in Canada, made in the UK. that was important to me.
Disappointed in the ability to communicate with Mountain Warehouse. Sizing is confusing. Emails from customer service are more confusing. I had to ask how to give a positive review. 45 minutes, 5 emails (first 2 with an AI bot) . I would think twice about ordering again.

this is absolutely a scam company!
this is absolutely a scam company who appear to use their blatantly corrupt couriers to pull off online scams. I ordered several items to my business and was given a proof of delivery photo showing a residential apartment door with an envelope that couldn’t hold a cell phone much less a pair of hiking boots. Complete and total scam beware!

I loved all of the wonderful ideas in this place! The products are extremely high-quality and easy to use. The designs on the clothing also really charmed me and I loved the multi-use items, such as:
• Compass Karabiner
• Fork-knive-spoon on a Karabiner
•Multiple different types of Karabiners
They have a whole wall full of backpacks for all different uses and they have 3 different levels of water protection, so if you’re just popping in for a raincoat for your gran, you won't have to spend £60 on a full rainproof hiking jacket. The small things were a bit overpriced, but at the checkout on the 14th of September, we were given 20% off until the 1st of October

Elgin. No hang up in the Fitting Room!
A staff member assured me the item purchased was unlikely to shrink in a cool wash. She advised me not to use the tumble dryer.
Previously, I had tried on the item in a fitting room. No check or token required. Excellent! Spacious & nicely decorated. BUT nowhere to hang up clothes! I wear glasses & they’re costly. I need a flat surface to lay them down for safety. However, all was achieved without incident but I still would have appreciated a hook or equivalent!

Exceptional Service
Bought an Animal waterproof jacket online. When it arrived was several sizes too large (sizing chart states M is 38-40" chest, this was tagged M but was 49" chest) - I guess not necessarily MW fault just annoying. The reorder came without the hood folding into the collar (but listed as same item)
HOWEVER! Both Lee & Annie in the Christchurch shop who I dealt with are a credit to any customer service organisation. Everything was simple, they re-ordered/returned the items and nothing could've been a better experience. Their level of care was exceptional, genuine, without being servile at all.
If I was still running luxury hotels.....I might offer them jobs!
Thank you. What is so often these days a tortuous experience was a real pleasure.

Terribly let down by Evri delivery
Ordered from Mountain Warehouse, but the experience has been ruined by their choice of courier. Evri confirmed my package was out for delivery on Thursday, September 10th, with a slot between 09:30 and 11:30. That window came and went with zero delivery, zero updates, and no communication since. Mountain Warehouse needs to offer alternative courier options because relying on Evri completely ruins the customer experience.

A friend bought me a gift card for Mt Warehouse. I am an active hillwalker/climber/skier with a Summer ML and I am also heavily involved in running DofE. I know what good, dependable outdoor kit looks like. This is not a company I would ever normally use, as their products are flimsy, shoddy, poorly constructed,cheaply made, do not last and are very budget-end.
When I tried to spent the gift card on some decent kit, available through MW Marketplace,I found I couldn't use my gift card on those products....only on the rubbish with MW's name on it.
When I asked if I could trade it in for a refund,I was told a perfunctory, unapologetic no.
What a ridiculously unhelpful company. Their kit is cheap, disposable stuff that, be warned, you will have replace in weeks. And they are singlehandedly contributing to the epidemic of trashed festival tents and other cheap camping gear left behind in fields and forests, on lake and river edges around the UK. The sooner they go out of business the better. I'm very disappointed for my friend, who threw away £100 on this terrible company that neither they or I will ever see again. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
