Trains cancelled call the helpline from…

Trains cancelled call the helpline from platform who arrange transport through a nationwide private company called CMAC based at Accrington who don't send correct transport. After 2 hours I gave up. Taxpayers who buy the overpriced rail tickets in the UK to pay the train operators wages and expensive final salary pensions need to demand a far better service.

Very poor environmental attitude

Was quite shocked this company declined climate change adverts because they were too political. Its quite frankly uneducated, regressive and unprofessional.

Environmental biology is not an opinion, it is a scientific discipline. Like other areas of biology, maths and chemistry, etc they are designed to investigate truth and help us.

Just because governmnets talk about acting on climate change does not make it political any more than what they ate for breakfast is.

Whoever came out with that statement is clearly very unqualified to do so and if thats upper managment the organisation have very little hope.

I boarded the 10.04 from Worthing to…

I boarded the 10.04 from Worthing to Victoria today (23rd Oct) and was welcomed with a hugely present surprise. The on board announcer and customer service person Jonathan announcements were great. Joking, informative and wonderfully light hearted. When he came through the train he had a warm smiling personality and really was a breath of fresh air. He deserves huge appreciation and credit for his work.

Fantastic service

I didn’t know about this service until we got off the train at Euston a lovely man called Leon helped my husband onto the buggy and took him into the station ( my husband had a brain operation in January and this was the first time we had travelled) he gave me all the information to book when we were going home which I did and we got on the buggy at Euston straight to our carriage and on the train before anybody else , this has really helped us as that was the main difficulty getting from the train up to the main part of Euston station
So thank you for making our journey easy - I will definitely be booking this service again

I worked fort Network rail for 30 years…

I worked fort Network rail for 30 years learnt experience from ground up. Ex forces employees run a jumped up company highly payed individuals. steer clear as these individuals would not get jobs any where else. corruption at the highest level. Government should be made accountable for paying 100k a year to people that are not able to get £10 an hour outside of the industry. constantly making cock ups but not being made accountable.

Crossing closure at Cononley

They have closed a well-used pedestrian rail crossing and RIGHT OF WAY at Cononley because the horn on one of the LNER trains is not loud enough. It's been shut since November 2020, now extended to December 2021 and the alternative route is dangerous. Now making excuses about cutting back vegetation to improve sighting? - not good enough, sort the train out and open the crossing NOW. If you're not careful people will start to think you just want an excuse to close the crossing forever.

Kept us up all night working across the road this is not the first time they do this every few weeks they don't care how much noise they make at any time on the night not good for us that have to get up early for work

Was at waterloo station on Saturday…

Was at waterloo station on Saturday 29/5/21 as I was coming off the underground up the escalators I came to the top and there was a Sign on my right hand side I was pushed into the Sign from the crowd of people I caught my arm on the sign and tore my jumper the edge of this sign was really sharp I went to tell someone who came and looked and said sorry and he took pictures and left the Sign in place this was definitely a safety issue if the young child caught themselves on this it would be a serious injury I said I’d like to make a formal complaint he didn’t know the complaint procedure and went to ask somebody else who then phoned for someone to come and see me when the gentleman came he apologised and took me to a office all was done was my name and address was put on a Piece of paper I’ll said someone may be in touch my jumper is ruined and cost a lot of money but most of all the Sign or still left there for someone to get hurt where is the safety procedures for this company another accident waiting to happen I’ve taken pictures as proof as the edge of this sign is like a razed blade the Signs remains in the same place 😡😡😡

There should be a NO star option for…

There should be a NO star option for this company. I completed a complaint form over 6 months ago. My complaint was about the fact that since maintenance work had started last August, our house now vibrates when a train goes past. (This is a local line so trains only run hourly). This did not happen before the maintenance work began. I received a reply fairly quickly from Network Rail saying that they would look into it and get back to me. Weeks went by and I did not hear anything. I placed another complaint. Again they said they would look into it and again I did not receive an update. Following a third complaint and a telephone complaint from me, they replied apologising about the noise caused during maintenance work. I replied saying that I was not complaining about the maintenance work but about the effects of the maintenance work. Again they said they would get an engineer to look into it. This was two months ago now and I have not received any follow up information. The customer care people were reasonably understanding and obliging, but the 'follow up' was appalling. I did not receive a reply to my last email but I did receive a questionnaire/review which I completed. These are a joke as they clearly do not look at them.

Summing-up Network Rail. Forget the Helpline unless reporting derailment fatality or similar; they do act quickly and efficiently then. Too many conflicting departments run by Fat Controllers.

On 11.1.21 I wrote to Andrew Haines [CEO Network Rail, signed-for] asking him to comment on three topics, one of them being my offer to pay for an independent surveyor for a report on some un-necessary, badly executed work done by his employees which is a complete waste of our money.
The other points were Network Rail's poor handling of relationships with people living near railway lines together with irresponsible disregard of covid precautions by site workers during this pandemic.
I have to ask what purpose a CEO serves if he cannot personally answer these important questions and have had to ask, once again, our MP to elicit answers.
Many thanks for a considerate employee going out of his way calling today to update us on some forthcoming operations and mentioning that, if at all possible, he would warn any residents within 200 metres of the likelihood of any work by the noisy tamping machine.

Part 2 sex and drugs

How can one individual get the top job at Network Rail, went off work sick for six months on full pay, but staff were told that this individual was seconded to another region. The reason was he was caught by his ex partner cheating with his P.A. you really could not make this up, the womaniser has had the backing from his seniors to take public sector taxpayers money while he sat a home pretending to be seconded at another depot.

NETWORK RAIL, Most racist company in the world

Most racist company in the world. Management support, promote and protect racist managers. Ethnic minority are discriminated, harassed and bullied out of railway industry. Network Rail "Speak out" policy is load of crap and B/S, not worth wiping your backside with.

98% all white Network Rail Management system built and designed to keep the franchise Caucasian. Black people are classed as troublemakers when speaking out for equal opportunities.

Big shout out to the off track 🚂 team…

Big shout out to the off track 🚂 team based out of the coleham depot (Shrewsbury) Network Rail who were putting in the new crossing by the Wern. Great job and they created a much safer access 👌

They let us have some left over items for our projects, which will help the local community young and old, it was very much appreciated, especially the encouragement from Dinesh Patel ❤️ thanks to one of are volunteers Joe swaine for his help also 💪

Got some lads working by the football club in Barmouth a guy called dinesh Patel was very helpful regarding help we needed at the ground. The lads doin a great job on the crossing. The off track team from network rail Coleham depot Shrewsbury at the Wayne’s crossing
