What more could any customer want?
I am absolutely amazed at the service I received from this company.
My windows were double glazed quite some time ago. I only had a small pane at the bottom of 1 window where condensation had started to show some 2 years ago.
The process used was as follows.
I live in a ground floor flat. A staff member was sent to measure my window from outside, which took less than 15 minutes including him telling me what happens next. Having the measurements, he returned to the shop where the new pane was to be made.
They will return this week. The job will be completed from outside. The old pane will be removed and the new one will be fitted. This will take 2minutes.
What more could any customer want?
Do not waste your money. Customer Service team is awful.
Would never recommend to anyone just because of how awful the support team is. I purchased the Pearson plus for the study videos and some had issues playing. When I contacted support, they didn't believe me and after hours on the phone and weeks waiting on any kind of answer they couldn't get me a refund or credit to my account. They are awful and do not care about students. Videos are helpful but the customer service people are AWFUL.

I have just wasted almost an hour on the chatbot/customer care link trying to understand why a link I was referred to in a book I bought doesn't work. It's the most awful support- absolutely hopeless. In the end, I decided it would be quicker to let the author know it's not working than try and resolve via Pearson. It's embarrassing that a company as large as Pearson has such an inept customer care service! I had to share information several times even though I had provided this through the chat - and got nowhere.
No Help for to Set Up a Course
If I could give a negative rating, I would. I attempted to obtain faculty support for setting up a course, but I was unsuccessful. I booked twice and received emails confirming my booking date and time, as well as the name of the person who would be supporting me. However, I never received a Zoom Meeting Link. Two Sales representatives emailed me back and provided some vague answers. One representative told me to email her if I didn't get the Zoom link. I sent her two emails, one 18 hours before the meeting, and another one and a half hours before, with high priority, but didn't hear back before the meeting started. I wonder whether they have any staff to help faculty set up a course.
Be careful with Pearson+ subscriptions
Be careful with Pearson+ subscriptions. I signed up thinking I could cancel anytime, but it’s actually a 6-month minimum commitment billed monthly, and you can’t cancel early or get a refund after 14 days. This wasn’t clear at signup and ended up costing me more than I expected. If you only need a book for a short time, this might not be the best option
Cant access solutions to book anywhere.

Bad service, no communication and website failure.
Awful company. I did my iGCSE exams online with Pearson, and at first everything was alright. Then the invistgators started taking up my exam time to ask me to show then my ceiling or under my desk, which i had already clearly shown, but i ignored it. Then, on my last exam the entire system went down. My exam was supposed to be at 10:05, and I had to wait until 2:30 to even start it. I was on the phone with these people and they could only say "just keep refreshing your tab." For 5 hours? Ridiculous and a waste of time.
Then, only on my LAST exam, was i told we had to have a backup device recording and keep the exams in an envelope! 12 different exams and I only get told on the last one. These people were incompetent at best and I would rather chew glass than have the displeasure of using their website again.

Here's the pickle with Pearson. You try to create an account for a course. It says you already have one. So you try to reset the password/username, but then it says you don't. 😂 So you try to reach out customer service. The phone number is an automated rabbit hole directing you to pages of the website. Customer service email handlers aren't helpful they say that an account exists and to call the number (which you do but get sent down a rabbit hole). You ask for further help and if someone can call back but no one does. What an appalling experience, did not expect this of Pearson.
Coward and incompetent manager and HR, this company is a joke
After 3 years I have been finally offered a permanent contract. This quickly became a nightmare. In less than 2 months I got laid off, just the day before my probation period ended. The reasons? No reasons as they used the probation period The manager ( unluckily changed 3 months ago), after I have been hired internally, instead of welcoming me and making me feel part of the team, became authoritarian and hostile towards me for no reason, made my day to day harder, disrespecting me with weird comments, for example that if it was for him i should have had 6 months probation instead of 2, how he was paying me to be great and not mediocre; micromanaging, gaslighting me, expecting me to deliver as a senior with 20+ yoe more for a mere 8% salary increase. I developed anxiety I never had in 3 years. I could not sleep thinking at the probation period and counting the days to be over. The only 1:1 we could have had to try and work things out and find a adult solution, he took the day off without notice or reschedule. It is obvious that he had personal preferences in the team. He just saw me as a disposable piece of garbage, an outsider damaging his little garden that fell in his lap randomly. He shouldn't have been in the company in the first place as he was hired for a failed project that never saw the light and for which his superior was fired. And me loyal and faithful until the last I did the best I could and I kept delivering and not getting anything back. As a contractor I was doing the same work, same colleagues, without all the pressure to prove to someone I am indeed valuable and good at what I am doing. I guess they found out it's still cheaper to outsource to India or Eastern Europe and decided to let me go just the day before a person from Poland started as a contractor. This has taken a toll on me honestly, I longed for this job for so long, gave it my all, working weekends and nights to stay on top of the game that it doesn't seem real how it ended; in a cold call of 5 minutes where he and HR just repeated a play, no actual meaningful words came out of their mouth. A colleague and friend got hired by another manager, which is a great professional and person and he is doing great. It's crazy how management can influence your health and work environment. You are not meant for this. Probably got into managing this because of money, where mediocrity and narcissistic behaviours are the common traits, this person takes the cake for lousiness. You lack basic interpersonal human skills, empathy and kindness. These qualities replaced by a big ego and superiority complex

Dreadful, processes & systems are disjointed. Would not recommend working for them, how on earth can they get away with taking someone on but not paying them during an induction period where may I add the learning is all self learned via
their dreadful systems in your own time with support being very bare. Total lack of transparency too...Really not worth going through the painful recruitment process only to find out how absolutely rubbish the pay is...,when you finally get to that point, suggest avoid
Charging me again after giving me a refund.
I bought a subscription for Pearson plus for my Chemistry class. After the semester was done I lost access to my textbook for chemistry. I forgot to cancel my subscription so I called them asking them for a refund. On June 9th, I was granted a refund of +$32.44. Later on that day, they charged me again for the subscription even after it was canceled and I got a email saying I was getting a refund. I have provided screenshots of my bank statement showing I was got the refund and then they took it back later on that day. I have been going back n forth with these people since June 6. The customer support chat they have are a bunch of idiots who dont know how to read a bank statement.

I purchased a subscription for an etext so I can listen to my lessons through audio. But their audio book is worth zero and it is a shame they insist on collecting subscription fee when their audio book is very boring, monotonous and will not inspire students to listen to the book. I tired cancelling my subscription but they would not allow me until I pay the contract of 6 months. This website objective is not to help students but to earn money and they do not care if students are learning or not.

Worst useless people working at Pearson.
Today, I attempted to take my second exam with Pearson as part of the process for extending my spouse visa. Despite using the same account and exact personal information I used for my first exam, which was accepted without issue, I was denied access to sit the exam. The receptionist claimed that the name on my profile did not match my ID, even though this account has already been verified and accepted for a previous test.
This is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. I received no prior notification that there was an issue with my profile, and I have already completed one exam successfully with the exact same account details, as confirmed in the formal score report they provided.
It is unacceptable that I had to take time off work only to be turned away without proper review or explanation. I am the same person, using the same account, and presenting the same ID as before.
Poor communication
Poor communication, poor management, lack of addressing issues, lack of support during the critical first few weeks of the role, poorly organised company. Bullying will not be addressed by them so be aware if you consider working here. You're also not allowed time off unless it's for good reason, even though you're entitled to leave but they've cleverly worded the contract. Don't bother wasting your time because you will not be appreciated.

I was there as a temp worker for (what was meant to be) 6 weeks. I’ve just handed in my notice after being there for just over 2 weeks.
I worked in Reconciliation, and the management there are HORRIFIC. So many people have quit because of them, and they’ve wrongfully fired someone whom did nothing wrong. No investigation, nothing. Just fired on the spot. They then proceeded to LAUGH and make fun of him when he’s an old man. Absolutely horrific place to work with even worse management. They need firing. Do NOT recommend.
There’s a whole lot more I can say about what happened to me but it would unfortunately not be able to fit in one review. The unfairness and lack of respect towards people from management is horrendous.

I teach an upper-division operations…
I teach an upper-division operations management class at a state university and I will never again use Pearson's MyLab or other supporting course ware. Pearson has outsourced and off-shored their customer service, their servers, and their MyLab development. It takes days to weeks to solve simple technical issues with involved parties due to the different timezone of off-shored support. Pearson MyLab also does not play well with Blackboard LMS. Pearson has taken what could be an exceptional product, raised the price and then they threw their customers under the bus with absolutely horrible inability to solve problems in anything close to real time. Using MyLab was a horrible experience for my 50+ students. Never again.

I've ordered some GCSE certificates and they still haven't arrived I've contacted Pearson about it and basically they won't help locate them even after i proceed to hand over the relevant information.
At this point they still couldn't find it I asked for it to be escalated to which that was refused so I'm not quite sure what's going on all I want to know is how much longer will my certificate take and they couldn't even answer that it's very very poor
