This retailer was able to send us a large order of a relatively rare microscope smartphone adapter unit which we required at very short notice - very few other places I checked at had more than 2 units held in stock. Couldn't be happier with their service.

I would strongly advise caution when buying from PicStop.co.uk I recently purchased a telescope, only to discover after using it twice that it was a 15-year-old model with no internet connection to update the handset. I emailed to ask about returning it, and the response I received was honestly shocking. I was told they “don’t do returns on a trial basis lol.” Yes, that was the actual wording.

How exactly are customers supposed to know whether they like or even can use a product until they’ve tried it? This dismissive attitude towards genuine customer concerns is completely unacceptable. I feel misled into buying an outdated product and then laughed off when trying to resolve the situation.

I will be raising this matter with the trades union and would urge anyone thinking of ordering from PicStop to reconsider. The lack of proper returns policy, coupled with the unprofessional response, speaks volumes about how they treat their customers.
