Very relaxed and helpful experience beginning to end. Spent nearly 3 hrs in the shop trying suites as my wife has chronic back problems. Hollie the sales girl was welcoming then left us to browse. Always at hand when needed but no high pressure pushing of sales, quite the opposite always pointing out considerations we hadn't thought about. Complementary coffees and Caramel Wafers a bonus!
Negotiated a good deal in the end for a leather recliner suite. Delivery speedy and very efficient. Neil & Steve turned up on time, very polite and efficient, not leaving until we were happy with the suite and it's position.
All in all a painless experience from start to finish.
We bought our very first 3 piece suite from Richard F Mackay in 1975 when they were on South Bridge and we were happy then. Nearly 50 years later still the same quality of goods and services. Delighted.

We had our two sofas delivered by Neil and Stevie morning at the time given pre-delivery. Nothing was too much bother for these young men who dealt with things very professionally and who were cognisant of your property. Both are a credit to the reputation and high standards.

Neil & Steve delivered our table this morning and did a great job of setting it up. They were extremely professional and courteous.

We have done business with Richard F Mackay over a large number of years and have always had excellent service. On this occasion we had to have our old carpet lifted and a new one relaid. Old sofa and chairs removed and new ones delivered. This as ARRANGED to happen on the same day. IT DID HAPPEN. The old carpet and furniture were disposed off and our room was transformed in one day. No hastle!! No excuses. Only very pleasant and and obliging staff who listened to what you want. Many thanks for a stress free experience.

Bought chair and sofa in Hollis range last year with no problems. Decided to buy another recliner sofa about 7 seems ago. Lovely service in store including coffee. Delivered today by Steve and Neil who were very pleasant and helpful including negotiating a small lift up 9 floors.

Neil and Steve the delivery guys were just wonderful. No mess, delivery went extremely well. They even went out of there way to fit furniture pads to prevent my floor being scratched. Can't rate the whole experience highly enough 🙂

Excellent service from Steve and Neil. They delivered our sofas with skill and expertise having to negotiate a tricky staircase in the process but their professional approach paid off with a great service. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

I agree with Valerie Renwick. I too bought a G Plan settee, chair and recliner delivered just over a year ago. In the shop the furniture had castors but when it arrived it had feet. At that the settee was at an angle as it only had 4 instead of 5 feet. At least you supplied the extra foot. Again I was told it didn't come with castors. So how come the showroom fur iture have castors. The furniture was very expensive but no one cares. No customer care only interested in the money.

The delivery drivers, Steve & Neil were amazing. We had mentioned to Darren that the doors in our house were very narrow but he insisted the furniture could come apart to allow access but, no, they couldn’t & it was a very tight squeeze to get the furniture in, especially the sofa. The boys were excellent & eventually, after removing the kitchen door, they succeeded. Well done boys.
