Ordered day 2&8, plus 5day test to release, got recovered.19 ref for locator form. Tests never came, said I hadn't ordered any yet I had a booking ref and so did the track and trace! Don't use them!

I have just received excellent customer service from one of your representatives named Shaz. Thank you so much Shaz for being so considerate, kind and helpful.

I know that RT is very busy at the moment but I spoke to Shaz while following up my sample and he was a delight to speak to and very helpful and professional.

I ordered a kit from them I did never arrive and I never got the refund.
I tried to call them and emailing but got no response. DONT BOOK WITH THEM.

Wife had to visit Spain due to family bereavement. The cost of pcr tests was ridiculous but someone suggested RT diagnostics. Ordered her day 2 and 8 tests whilst in Spain. They arrived two days later. By this time alarm bells ringing re this company. On return she did her day 2 test on the Monday and result arrived Wednesday. Still worried we looked at the reviews. Feared the worst.
Day 8 test sent and fingers crossed. Negative result within their time frame. No phone calls needed etc. Clearly many out there have had issues. My wife is now free and it is only fair to comment on the excellent service provided. Lucky? Who knows but for the price it has been remarkable value.

I was a bit worried after reading the previous reviews but I have to say, so far I have received a first class service. I've booked two Covid tests for my return from Corfu for day 2 and day 8. I've received the test kits promptly - frankly way quicker than expected. I though I wouldn't care too much about the results as I did the tests mainly to receive my registration number for my passenger locator for ;-) However, I've returned the first kit on Monday late at night und received already the results this afternoon. TOP TOP TOP!

My result had not arrived by email. So I call them and spoke to Shaz. Shaz was able to send my test result certificate within 2 hrs.

Didn't get my 2nd day test back until the 8th day and it asked me to download a report which is probably full of scamware knowing the behaviour and attitude of this company. I will be reporting them to the ombudsman and requesting a full refund. Total waste of time, do not use them!

Orders day 2 and 8 tests for myself and my wife. Arrived home to find the 4 test kits. Did the day 2 tests on 24th June and sent them off. Have now completed the day 8 tests today, 30th June. Still don't have a result for the first tests and can't get RT on the phone. Have spent nearly 2 hours trying to reach them.
I can't recommend them, and should avoid them! Better to find a better company.

We had booked Day 5 test to release on site package. When trying to get in contact with them prior to the test to understand whether we had a specific time slot, they did not respond to any messages and couldn't get through on the phone. We were contacted by NHS Test and Trace to cancel our Day 5 Test due to being in contact with a positive case. As we didn't use the Testing service and received no test kit, I've tried to get in contact with RT Diagnostics for a refund. I've used their online form, email and tried to call through. Today I've managed to connect through to an adviser 3 times and they pretend they can't hear me (repeatedly saying Hello, even though I've rang other people and used a different phone). Absolute scammers not wanting to give money back to help. I'm getting my bank involved to dispute and will be looking to report RT diagnostics to the appropriate body

Never received my tests. They are impossible to get a response from. Do not use - might as well flush your money in the toilet.

Takes forever to get your results, I would not recommend RT Diagnostics

It's been 6 days since I sent my Day 2 test to you and i am yet to receive a result, my parter who sent them at the same time got a result 5 days ago.

I've been trying your phone lines non stop but the phone lines are forever busy so have had no success. today after phoning 9 times I got through to the lovely Shaz who did a great job at answering my query. He has assured me my test has been received and apologised for the delay on your behalf. Lucky you have kind people like Shaz on the phone to redeem the multiple errors of the company.

These aren’t turned around in 24 hours!!

Still waiting for my day 5 results 48 hours later! The reviews are correct, no one answers the phone.

I ordered day 2 & 8 tests from RT Diagnostics 6 days before my arrival.

No instructions were given on how to get a booking reference required for the Passenger Locator Form. I waited a day then tried to contact them, but no luck. Sent an email, used their contact form (that later disappeared from the website) - no answer. Tried their phone number - it was not working (not connecting or always engaged).

At one moment I thought it was a scam. Then finally after a few more angry email shouts I got an email with instructions on how to register at Recova-19 portal, how to get a booking reference number etc.

After that things went really smoothly. Tests were waiting for me when I arrived in the UK. Both day 2 and day 8 test results were ready on the same day that they were received.

Giving 4 stars because of the initial horrible experience.

UPDATE TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW...
Whilst Day 2 test results where very slow (mine only came on the evening of day 8), 3 out of 4 test results for the day 8 test were back with us by day 9. I wonder if the company focuses on getting day 8 results back so people can release from quarantine promptly. It's a stressful first week but I feel much better about having used RT Diagnostics after this. Only 4 stars as still waiting for one result to come back!

Find a different company.

I booked two Day 2 and Day 8 tests. When i got back, only one had been delivered. Then, it is day 8 today and my day 2 test result has not been advised yet.
Also, it is day 8 and we have not received the tests. They do not reply to emails quickly enough and is difficult to get hold of them.

SCAMMERS! Stay Away from them. No test results and no one actually answering the phone (tried many times, different days, same result).

Edited review to increase from 1 to 2 stars. Day 2 test came back after 9 days, still awaiting day 8 test results after 16 days. Still do not use this company, their service is a lie.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered 2x Day 2 home test kits but only one was ever delivered. We tried to contact RT Diagnostics by phone (after 2 days of being on hold we concluded their phone line is not actually manned), their customer service email address, their urgent assistance email address and their website message function and we never received a response by any medium. We ended up having to urgently arrange an in person test through another company - we have not received a response let alone a refund from RT Diagnostics
