First time using this company
First time using this company, must admit i did check with ticket seller before giving detakls Refund issued speedily.
Website was a little difficult at times as couldn't seem to save progress,but that could have been me. I wasn't too happy about attaching sick note as felt intrusive but understand the need.
All in all certainly worth the small amount it cost me to add the insurance when I booked the tickets.

Took me nearly an hour and a half…
Initial phone call gave me an incorrect email address for where to send information. I finally managed to get the correct email address and to send to that email address which took me 40 minutes, only to be told I had to fill in a form on line....on trying ,it emerged my information was not in an acceptable format! another 45 minutes struggling to get in the correct format....Rest assured I will not be using your service again!

Your business is a scam!
Neither Milwaukee Reparatory Theater, or your company, Secure My Booking, ever revealed to me that the ticket protection I was purchasing required me to be sick, die or have some other dread thing happen to me to get a refund. I was merely told, "If you can't come, you can get a refund." I bought tickets for several people, and when one of them got sick, I had to ask them for personal medical information in order to get a refund. It is none of my business, or yours, to know about their sickness or who their doctor is. It is completely inappropriate for me to go to someone who is sick, to require her to get a doctor's note. A simple request to you should have been all that was necessary to get a refund. This was a terrible experience from start to finish!
Secure My Booking has responded to my review. I made it very clear at the beginning of my post that neither Milwaukee Rep nor SMB gave me any indication that there were conditions related to my purchase of this product. My tickets were purchased from a live agent at Milw. Rep who said nothing about the terms, just, "If you can't come you can get a refund." I never received ANY communication from SMB! I've provided SMB with my original ticket purchase confirmation, and it is clear there is no mention of refund terms. If SMB can provide me proof of any communication they sent me specifying terms, to be fair, I will correct my comments on this site.

We’re sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience. However, we would like to clarify a few important points.
The terms of the ticket refund protection, including the circumstances covered and the requirement for supporting documentation, are clearly provided during the purchase process. At no point do the terms state that a refund can be claimed simply because someone is unable to attend, without a covered reason or the appropriate supporting evidence.
We appreciate that requesting documentation can sometimes feel inconvenient or personal, but it is necessary to validate a refund request fairly and consistently.
Most importantly, despite the concerns raised in this review, a full refund was issued. For that reason, we do not believe describing the service as a scam, or suggesting that customers are simply denied refunds, accurately reflects what happened here.
We are sorry that the terms of the ticket refund protection were not understood as intended when the purchase was made, but they are made available before purchase so customers can understand the requirements that apply.
