Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you loved your stay at Littlecote, but we’re very sorry that the coach service fell short of your expectations.

We apologise that, after self-driving to the hotel, you were not provided with clear information or contact details about where to meet the coach. Having to walk around the hotel asking other guests for information is understandably frustrating, and this is not the level of communication we would expect.

We’re particularly sorry to hear about the experience of the two deaf members of your party. Having been made aware of their needs, we would expect appropriate care to be taken to ensure they were kept informed and understood what was happening. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will share your feedback with the relevant team.

Thank you for taking the time to update your review and share such detailed feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that so many aspects of your holiday fell below the standard you expected.

We apologise for the discomfort experienced during the long coach journey, as well as the concerns you’ve raised about the condition and cleanliness of the Pentire Hotel in Newquay. The issues you describe, including the cleanliness of the room and communal areas, the smell of dogs, the condition of the smoking area, limited staffing and the food and bar service, are clearly disappointing.

We’re also sorry that these concerns appear to have been shared by other members of your coach party. Your comments will be passed to the relevant team for consideration with the hotel.

It’s good to hear that Lee was a lovely driver and that you enjoyed the excursions. We’ll be sure to share your kind comments with him.

We’re disappointed that your experience has left you feeling that you would not travel with Shearings again, but we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to provide this honest feedback.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed 4-star review. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed your time on the Isle of Man and found the island fascinating, with your driver’s knowledge of its history, people and places adding to the experience.

It’s also lovely to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the hotel in Ramsey and that the staff went above and beyond to make your visit pleasant. We’re sorry that your trip to the south of the island, particularly Castletown, was disappointing.

We’re especially sorry to hear about your experience travelling to and from the island. We appreciate how uncomfortable and frustrating it must have been to spend the outward ferry journey on deck and then struggle to find seating on the return journey. We also understand your comments about the long coach journey home, including the extended wait at Skelton and the uncertainty during the final part of your journey.

We’re pleased that the Isle of Man itself provided some great memories, but we’re sorry that the travel arrangements took away from what should have been an enjoyable overall experience. Your feedback will be shared with the relevant team.

We’re very sorry, however, that this holiday did not live up to your usual expectations. We understand how disappointing it must have been to miss the Dolomites excursion, particularly as this was due to the coach being unable to safely navigate the lower part of the climb following the rain.
More importantly, we’re concerned to hear about your experience with the coach crew. The lack of comfort stops, limited opportunities for refreshments, insufficient information and interaction, and the overall impression that they were not engaged with the group are certainly not the level of service we expect. We appreciate how much this affected your enjoyment of the holiday, especially when you had otherwise enjoyed the destination so much.
