Laura Mann, has made my booking experience so much better, as someone who has severe hearing loss and mobility issues phoning about a holiday becomes a big problem for me. Booking online as well causes a few issues too, so in my case I emailed my requests and Laura answered, Tom Saunders was another person who helped with a booking. They were able to give me peace of mind with the process and Laura now does all my bookings for me she had made me feel welcome and nothing had been too much trouble for her, it's the little things that make such a big difference and knowing things are in place for me before I arrive at my destination.

Booking was efficient and not hurried.
The operator understood that my booking depended on the seating position on the coach and using the main hotel as stated online. We did not want a back seat or a hotel that we had not checked the reviews first. He was helpful in all ways and even looked into an earlier date for us or an upgrade in coach. Very cheerful and polite.

holiday to lake garda was excellent…
holiday to lake garda was excellent hotel staff were polite and would do anything for you entertainment was good especially our coach drivers joined in and got us all having a great time, The coach drivers Graziella and Chris were the best and made us all feel like family the looked after us and did good cometary at all times they were excellent.

Shearings rang back the same day as my online enquiry
Shearings rang back the same day as my enquiry. I spoke to Debbie who was very friendly. She was very helpful and rang the hotel asking for another room for a single traveller and explained it may take a while to receive confirmation. Just two days after my enquiry Debbie rang back, she was marvellous in getting a room and I had a nice seat booked on the bus. To top it off Debbie gave me useful advice about Whitby. She deserves a medal.

Loved all the excursions
Loved all the excursions. I would strongly advise to choose another base instead of Great Yarmouth. Norwich would be the perfect choice as I would have loved to explore the city more than we could on the last day of the holiday.
Sandringham in particular, was brilliant. Would love to go again but the base to be somewhere else as Great Yarmouth has very little to offer.

Great Little Trains of Wales
We are enjoying our time at the Marine Hotel in Llandudno apart from the fire alarm going off in the middle of the first night. Andy, our coach driver, has looked after us well. The itinerary has been generally good, BUT the advertised trip on the Llanberis Lake Railway was cancelled and a trip on the Great Orme Tramway substituted. OK, but no transport is being provided to the Tramway lower terminus. This is about a mile walking from the hotel and, as usual, the Shearings group includes many older guests with crutches, waking sticks, strollers and wheelchairs who clearly cannot walk this distance. The driver clearly needs his day off, but other transport should have been provided or the tram ride arranged on a day when the coach was available. I'm generally a big fan of Shearings, but this is not a good look.

We’re sorry to hear about the disruption caused by the fire alarm during your first night, and particularly about the difficulties caused by the change to the excursion. While we appreciate that the Llanberis Lake Railway was substituted with the Great Orme Tramway, we completely understand your concerns about the lack of transport to the lower terminus.
As you rightly point out, accessibility is an important consideration for many of our customers, and a walk of around a mile may not be practical for those with mobility difficulties, wheelchairs or walking aids. We’re sorry that suitable transport wasn’t provided alongside the alternative arrangement. Your feedback regarding the timing of the excursion and the availability of the coach is also very helpful, and we’ll ensure these comments are passed to the relevant team for review.

The tour coach was totally appalling
The tour coach was totally appalling, there was absolutely no leg room, never been on a coach or even a local but with such a small space had to travel overnight 9 hours without a comfort break, the coach whined all the journey, there and back, no room to store bags overhead, so had to put them between our legs which was a nightmare and so much more wouldn't recommend Shearings to anyone.

We understand how uncomfortable it must have been to spend such a long journey with limited leg room, especially on an overnight transfer. We're also sorry to hear about the lack of overhead storage, which made travelling with personal belongings more difficult, and that the noise from the coach affected your comfort throughout the journey.

We booked a shearings holiday Magical…Skye and the Scottish highland
We booked a shearings holiday Magical Skye and the Scottish highlands from the 4th September to the 11th it was advertised as luxurious coaches spacious leg room comfortable seats well what a disappointment firstly it was not a shearings coach we were in row three and you couldn’t move your legs the seat was like sitting on a brick we realised there were empty seats at the back so we changed seats which were a little more comfortable .We stayed at The Highland hotel in Straphpeffer the rooms were absolutely disgusting the bed was so uncomfortable there was bed springs sticking in me the room wasn’t cleaned the entire time we were there bins were overflowing the food was disgusting I suggest that someone from shearings should go and investigate these hotels as your customers pay a lot of money to stay in a place that’s not suitable.The itinerary said that we would see Loch Ness well we only got a photo opportunity when the coach stopped for a few minutes then it was back on the coach and we were driven around it surly the coach could of stopped and given us the chance to see the museum.The optional trip to Ullapool wasn’t worth the money there isn’t anything there I certainly won’t be booking another shearlings holiday.
