There was no instructions whatsoever in the packages, and there wasn’t any adhesive pads to fix the trim to the frames, and one edge of the frame is damaged, although this maybe covered up when I get adhesive for the trims to be attached.

Ordered shutters April 2022 finally delivered 4th July 2022 sadly 2 frames missing so unable to complete placing them on our lounge windows the one window we are able to complete looks fantastic the shutters are fantastic quality just a shame the service is very poor

Didn't realise there would be such a long wait until after I had ordered but they did come 3 months quicker than original delivery date. Shutters are fabulous and look great now they are fitted.

Ordering was easy. Installing was easy answers my enquiry straight away. I think they could give a indication that something was happening half way through. This is my second order so I knew. But on my first order I did worry abit. Lovely blinds

Ordered a blind on a 20 week lead time. Wasn’t allowed to cancel 24 hrs after ordering as it had “gone into manufacturer” shame delivery is not as prompt as 3 weeks after delivery day and I’m still waiting.

Chased to be told can’t find it in the warehouse and asked for phone calls back. Again still waiting

Let’s see what rubbish excuses I get when I ask for a full refund and it will be a laugh to hear them.

Don’t touch them with a barge pole. Run a mile in the opposite direction and pay a little more for decent customer service.

One truly Disappointed customer. Don’t even bother replying to this post just take the time to do a bank transfer with my money + interest as you’ve had it for 6mths already

The blinds that arrived are fantastic however the order is incomplete. We have frames with no shutters to put in them. I reported this 2 weeks ago and had no response. I order 7 blinds, only 5 are complete. We have windows with no coverings now. The despatch system needs attention as order was to be delivered on a specific day and it arrived in odd boxes over 4 days with no paperwork to check of if order was complete until boxes were opened and blinds fitted. A despatch note to the client is needed stating how many box's should arrive and a number should be on note and box to be checked off. Somewhere there are 2 boxes with my shutters in them. Unfortunately Shutters Direct havn't made any attempt to contact me since my complain/report of missing shutters. I hope they pay more attention to complaints on Trust Pilot.

Losing the will to live with this company after spending almost £1700 for shutters I placed the order in September 2021 , I am missing a frame for one of the sets of shutters,as the delivery was to an address 31/2 hours from my home address I awaited a delivery date from the distributor as advised by shutters direct , this notification never arrived , we took a chance and drove to Devon to find the shutters had been left against a wall of the house in pouring rain the boxes were disintegrating,fortunately the goods were undamaged but we are missing an entire frame we didn’t have notification of the delivery either , I have no correspondence back from them I am ringing daily and tired of the same excuses, if I do not get a conclusive answer I will be taking this to small claims court, I want a definitive answer as to when I will receive my frame !

Ordered express shutters 7 - 14 working days turn around but after 36 working days I'm still waiting for my shutters. Calling customer service is pointless as they need to send an email to their supplier that takes 48 hours to get an answer. No one has called to update that my order has been delayed. 5 phone calls later and they still don't have a clue whats going on. Someone will get back to me in the next 2 days, let's see if they can stick to that....

A horrendous and dishonest company

After spending £1000> on shutters from this company in November 2020, and spending >10hrs on the phone with them since, they have only delivered partial shutter panels with no frame. When we lost patience and asked for a refund, they have refused – and still not made good on the whole order.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST.

I ordered and paid for 2 shutters. The express range quoted 7-9 working days. The first arrived on time. They have not acknowledged anything on 2nd shutter or provided anything significant in writing. Every time I email I just get an automated response to say it will be 3 days to respond.
All I required was a clear delivery timescale and copy order for the second shutter so I knew what was going on.
Really dreadful customer service and still an incomplete order.

Ok so this is an update and second review as my first review was for the first shipment of shutters that went missing via courier, I had to contact daily to fight to get these re made and sent out I was assured that this was a one off and that the shutters would be dispatched on 2 March. Then on the 2nd I received a delivery of one box, I quickly opened before the courier left as I thought it didn’t look right....to my surprise it was just a frame still no shutters...twice? Surely this couldn’t happen again. I was told the courier dx would deliver the next day. Well they didn’t and they haven’t. They updated their tracking saying I had received 3 boxes which is a lie. I even spoken with courier who said he’d make a note onIy 1 box had been received, he didn’t. Spoke to shutters direct again and again and they just won’t help me, they keep fobbing me off saying they’ll get back to me but they never do, I have to contact them. This is a disgrace. They have been THE worst buyer experience I have ever experienced. The customer service is polite and someone always answers the phone but ultimately no one ever does what they say, no one ever takes responsibility and I’m still no nearer getting a refund or my shutters. I am utterly shocked at this company...how do I escalate this situation, get some resolution and never ever have to speak to these people again ! Someone please sort this out so I don’t have to wake up every morning thinking here we go again. This has taken over my life since the 7th February. 1 whole month of nothing but frustration. Please please get this resolved for me.

Update 5th March...still no shutters, no one from this company is contacting me helping me resolve this. I’ve had to contact DX myself again today who promised delivery of my two missing boxes but they yet again were not received.
I want my money back and I want it resolved this weekend once and for all.
I would be so careful if you were considering buying from this company, if my shutters can go missing on twice, two orders with two separate couriers and I have received no real help from this company, I have had to contact daily for a month and they still don’t seem to care, what a shambles.
I would like to know who owns this company so I can send a full email detailing how poorly I have been treated as a customer.
There is no escalation process to take things past the individuals who answer the phone who are polite and appear to want to help but don’t...they don’t take ownership, they do not call back when they say they will, they are full of nothingness...where is the management side to this business? It really does lack any senior management.
BUYERS BEWARE!!!

Received shutters for my stairwell window to see how well made / easy to fit .
Two slats were cracked and it and it said there should be pre drilled holes for securing frame but none ...
Also no fitting instructions as to how to adjust them to fit / close correctly / or /adjust . Spent a while to get one side to fit and close properly but still not managed to get the other side to shut without popping open
Unlikely to buy any more

I ordered one shutter and it arrived within the 7-9 days quoted. It was very well packaged and I am extremely happy with the quality of the shutter. It is very sturdy and my husband found it easy to fit. I have already ordered shutters for the whole house. I would recommend them.

Product is good quality and a fair price.
Only negative is they reduce the overall size too much for clearance and ease of installation leaving too big a gap all round that needs filling somehow

Extremely happy with the service of Shutters Direct. I ordered the wrong size and because I took the extra £10 insurance they made me another without charge apart from £7.95 delivery, and didn’t even take the old one back! The quality of the shutters is also excellent. I would not have any hesitation in using them again for any future shutters. The customer service was polite and very helpful and the re-made blind came within 2 wks. Superb service all round 👍
