Joined the group ‘’car seat safety uk’’ on Facebook to learn more about safety for my first child. I have learned so much in this group, the admins (including the owners of this business) provide free support for everyone that needs it as well as fit/installation checks on car seats of all kinds, not just the ones they sell. My baby is in the higher centiles, meaning not all car seats would be a good investment as he would grow out of them quickly, without joining this group I’d have never known that! I was reccomended the axkid minikid 2 through the group and quickly snapped one up before they sold out, purchased from simply safe, it was dispatched the next day and came 2 days after ordering. I then sook advice on the fit and installation in the group and as always advice was provided. If you can support a small business, let it be this one. And join the Facebook group while you’re at it :)

We’ve bought four car seats from Gabi. One for each grandparents car and two for our own. Her knowledge has helped ensure our little one is as safe as possible. She’s been very quick to respond to queries. Delivery and ordering was quick and efficient. Thanks Gabi.

Great experience start to finish. This is my second purchase from Gabi who helped me choose the right car seat for my daughter. Gabi has been responsive with messages answering questions I had as well as providing prompt install checks. She has a huge selection of seats so I am sure I’ll be back for my next purchase!

I was about to place an £850 order with Simply Safe Car Seats for 2x BeSafe Stretches and 2x vehicle seat protectors. I've always had good advice from the Facebook group, including the owner herself, so went to ask others' experience with using those seats in the group. I realised I'd been blocked so contacted the owner directly using the Simply Safe Car Seats page to ask for support with my car seat query and to ask how the community support/aftercare service would work if I'd been blocked. I got nothing but rude, blunt responses to polite queries.
This felt a bit odd so I checked reviews on here then and I'm so glad I did!
When I said I'd seen other reviews and had decided to take my purchase to another retailer, I was told to "P**s off", called a "sad cow" and that me leaving a review about my poor customer service experience is "fraud".
Seems to me that the experience with this retailer is either fantastic or horrendous. I'd suggest people don't gamble their money for safety devices for their children when you could easily be left out of pocket, with no aftercare or abusive messages being sent to you.

Ordered an axkid car seat and added a body wash to my order. Unfortunately I did not receive the body wash (value of £10) and let the retailer know straight away. We went back and forth over email with me having to chase on their Facebook group. Retailer kept saying that I threw it away. I went and checked the packaging 4 times including in my recycling bin. At one point she stated she would send another then went back on her word and advised she would not be refunding as she has cctv evidence that it was packed.
I ordered the car seat as it is meant to be a good quality safe seat, with good aftercare. During this back and forthing she blocked me from the Facebook group which means no aftercare for a £275 car seat.
Other reviews I have seen state the retailer, a one woman band is rude and blunt and I can completely agree; I ignored these reviews when ordering. She was extremely defensive and really rude and accusatory in the emails- adamant she packed the order and that I had thrown away the body wash.
So I’m down £10 (as she refuses to refund as she is 1000% sure she packed it- despite saying she would send another and backtracking) and no aftercare on a premium seat.
I would not recommend- order from a reputable company who have values, integrity and professionalism.

Great experience using simply safe car seats. Ordered all of my daughters axkid car seats from here and had no issues with delivery or after care. Always replies to help with fit checks, installation checks and any queries I have.

Ordered the new stardust car seat and couldn’t be happier. Customer service has been great, I ordered the seat & was delivered the next day. I sent Gabi photographs of the installation which she got back to me and confirmed all looked great, very happy customer. Definitely recommend

Sadly I have not had a good experience with the owner and cannot recommend this company to anyone. I wish I had read reviews before ordering from this shop.

Communication is practically non-existent and customer service is beyond a joke - extremely rude, unhelpful and at the slightest questioning you are blocked from being able to contact the shop.

I spent over £600 on two car seats and two accessories for my children, including the new Stardust car seat and additional insert. I knew the Stardust was a pre-order, all fine. However when it finally arrived, there was no insert, and this is where the problems started. I messaged asking where the insert was, no reply. So I posted on the Car Seat Safety UK Facebook group where I was told there had been a delay with the inserts and she would chase when they will be expected. A week after receiving this message I still had not heard anything and all messages were ignored. I sent yet another message - all very polite - asking what was going on and was met with nastiness and rudeness. The owner proceeded to accuse me of being rude and impatient, would not accept that she is in the wrong for not communicating with a paying customer and sent one final nasty message before blocking me so I can no longer contact her. So I am still without my item, a refund has been requested but not processed and I cannot contact the company!

Absolutely disgusting behaviour and I think as other reviews show, clearly not a one off incident. Please do not order off this person - they do not deserve your business or your money - spend it on much better companies who actually have an ounce of customer service and helpfulness.

Picked up a new car seat today for my little boy, Gabi was super helpful and installed the seat in my car for me, checking the fit for the car and for Jude. Very happy and would recommend!

Ordered on the 10th, no communication on delivery date of an item that cost over £500. Refund would have taken £20 of "delivery fee" had to go through PayPal to get a refund. I emailed multiple times, called the mobile that's dead on the site and then messaged the web chat only for them not to pick it up once they had my order ref.

Shocking poor service, avoid if you actually want to receive the item.

Bought the Axkid Minikid 4 from Gabi at Simply Safe after following advice on Facebook group which I found very informative and helpful in choosing the best extended rear facing seat for my child. Ordering was straight forward and seat arrived promptly within advised time frame. Contacted Gabi to check installation and fit and received a prompt reply. Excellent, knowledgeable communication with advise given to get best fit. Delighted with the service and seat and feel confident my child will travel safely with aftercare support available when I need it. Would order again without hesitation.

Look at other reviews, dealing with this business is a risk. The owner attempted to fob me off after giving me the wrong item, agreed a refund, but then didn't provide it and ignored all contact.
PayPal had to get involved to get my money back a month later. Really, really unprofessionally run business - don't trust them with your money. Thank god I didn't buy a whole car seat from them.

Prompt communication within working hours, very helpful with questions and helped install in person. Aftercare questions so far have been answered quickly and effectively. Will buy from again!

I ordered the Be Safe Stretch for my son following advice from Gabi in the Facebook group. I was unsure if it would fit in my Honda Civic as it’s a big seat b it Gabi advised she had for one fit into a similar sized car. I posted pictures and a video for an installation check and Gabi came back on the same day within a few hours giving me specific changes I needed to make. Once I did these I posted another video and Gabi came back quickly again confirming it was all ok - this was partly due to Gabi’s detailed instructions, which were much better than the official Be Safe video instructions. I wouldn’t hesitate to but from Gabi again

Just installed my second seat from Gabi/Simply Safe Car Seats and I love it. Before both of my purchases, I sought advice on the Facebook page, to which Gabi responded quickly and full of very knowledgeable information. I acted on Gabi’s suggestions and both car seats have not disappointed. We have now upgraded to the Axkid Minikid 4 Pro to keep my daughter rear facing even longer. I ordered the seat on Sunday and it was delivered on Wednesday. I installed it the same night and then double checked with Gabi that the fit and installation was ok for my little girl. As always, Gabi responded quickly and I feel so at ease knowing she’s in one of the safest seats and great after care services are available. I wouldn’t buy my car seats from anyone else!

Such a great experience and Gabi is extremely knowledgeable and can help you pick out the correct seat for you. Pre ordered a seat, i followed up with a couple of questions and got a response to my Q's quickly, the seat turned up when i was told and they responded to a fit check the very same day!
Brilliant customer service.

Started off so well!! Half price axkid mini 2 for son needed Saturday delivery paid extra £30 for it not to be delivered! She ignored me for 2 hours until I informed her going to action fraud after reading multiple bad reviews after purchasing ( my fault!!)

She was incredibly rude blocked me on Facebook so couldn’t couldn’t contact her. She said she issue full refund cancelled my order and not to contact her again as she doesn’t work on a Saturday??? Yet she should not offer delivery for Saturdays in this case in case of things like this. My reckoning is she messed up didn’t look at delivery I even tipped her!!!

I have evidence on messages and I will be taking this to action fraud as she is scamming people. The good reviews on here are probably people that have been paid to do so or they’re her fake accounts!!

Trust me, do not buy ANYTHING from her she is incapable and incompetent and very rude!!! Look at the other bad reviews on here.

I shall also be going to trading ombudsman as she can’t continue to defraud people. She should be ashamed of herself scamming parents that are in need of safety for our kids!!!!

She had no intention of sending my son’s car seat.
